PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Tim Dawson of Witch Beam on AAC Vita:

Honestly at this point, the main reason I want to bring it to the Vita is because I like the platform personally. We said we were going to, and we have a lot of people following us because they own Vitas and they want to see it too. At this point, as brutal as it is to say, we don’t have many expectations from it. We don’t think it’s going to be a massively profitable platform to us at this point, but it’s also super-important that we do what we said we’d do.

So that remote play thing works damn well here. Enter the Gungeon is hard, though. I get killed by the 1st boss most of the time. One thing I've got to get use to is, when dodging, to run toward the bullets. I tend to run away and that doesn't do a lot of good usually. I stand up in the bullets again. Whoops.

Between having a hard time falling asleep last night.
I couldn't fall asleep until 1 and it took some restless legs, benadryl and a glass of bailey's to get the job done.

And then waking up about 530 this morning I am totally exhausted. And why is it 80 today? Too early for shorts weather.

Meanwhile we are going to get snow showers this weekend.

I gave up golf when I left UF and the cheap as hell lighted course.  Some of that decision was due to my "ability" to hit it straight up in the air with a 10 degree loft driver even if I had the tee as low as I could possibly get it.  I broke the laws of physics somehow and that broke me.

I use to play golf years ago. I hated the feeling that the people behind us were being held up because I was a beginner (yes, I did pick up my ball after some number of shots). Of course I could play on the shitty courses that the good players wouldn't play on, but they were shitty. I did have fun with it sometimes (usually I'd get a least one really good shot and that would carry me over to the next time) and I still have my clubs. Some day maybe I'll get back into it.

I found a secret wall in Enter the Gungeon, but I couldn't figure out how to destroy it. My alternate weapon revealed it, but it didn't seem to destroy it. I'll take a spoilered hint on how you do it.

Well no one is good, but it sounds like you were just straight up terrible!

Serioulsy though I have a 9 degree driver and still hit sky balls from time to time as its just my shitty swing and what happens sometimes. I am playing both Saturday and Sunday this weekend (sorry Derek) so Im sure I will hit more than a few sky balls. But its going to be nice weather so it will be fun to me regardless.

No, that's 18 holes. I'm North Korean.
Seriously though I mainly golfed in the evenings after work so 18 holes was not going to happen often. Also my golf course wasn't a par 3 (like my nephew plays and breaks 40 all the time because par is 27 lol).

(Tyler loves him some Leo)

Ugh......Terrorist hunt is okay for a little while or testing out different loadouts, but I would rather play against actual people. So grindy

Lego Dimensions PS3 plat get. Even did the Portal level in under 25 minutes legit, so suck it glitchers!

Just need Simpsons and Dr Who level packs for 100%. Here's hoping for good sales soon.

So far the Battleborn open beta is exactly like the closed beta.
Sitting in queues.
I was watching a stream earlier where the guy couldn't start playing for around an hour and a half. Servers opened at 1 and he wasn't in a game until 230.

And then the actual game looked boring as shit so I just cancelled my download.

Finished the Skyrim plat the other day. FFX, FF13, FF13-2, Mass Effect, Stick of Truth, Game of Thrones, Diablo, Lightning Returns, and Skyrim in around a year's time.

That's a lot of RPGing.

Then I guess you wont be answering that party invite I just sent. If you are around tonight and want to play just let me know.

fucking Hulu.  For Arrow right now they have episode 10, episode 11.... then episode 14, 15 and 16.  WTF?  Why not 12 through 16 as the five to choose from?

Derek had an open party the other night. Where the fuck were you?

Not sure if Battleborne updated the previous download or if I have to redownload it. As you said it was pretty boring during the Alpha. characters didn't seem too interesting. Probably won't even bother with this beta either way.

Speaking of Doctor Who, the season 9 set that came out this week has both of the last 2 Christmas specials.  I was worried they were going to stop including them in the season sets because 8 didn't have any and the 2013 one (Matt Smith's last episode) is still only available individually on blu ray in the US.

I think it took me 20 minutes to get in a game (I was browsing on an ipad so it may have been sooner, but it definitely wasn't quick) and had a match that lasted 30 minutes. Then when going into the gear loadout menu I got kicked back to the queue so I quit.

I don't know if they'll add in more characters but so far there are less characters in the open beta than I had access to in the closed beta months ago.

MOBAs are definitely not the type of game for me.

Overwatch looks more like a Team Fortress style game which sounds a lot better. No collection resources and killing NPCs for more resources.

Man, what a crappy month:

People hating Batman v. Superman

Trump is getting closer and closer to becoming President.

Internet connection won't let me stream.

And now, Netflix prices are going up.

Then I realize it's okay because MST3K is coming back.

AND a one night reunion with the original cast is happening: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rifftrax/rifftrax-live-2016-mst3k-reunion-time-chasers-live?utm_source=RiffTrax%20Mail&utm_campaign=dd762d2144-CyberTracker&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_4a5519af23-dd762d2144-38498569&mc_cid=dd762d2144&mc_eid=41e9dd4af2

Did you end up making a batmobile pinewood derby car?

I know from experience that picture is some pro-level shit
That's really amazing looking. His first year we bought a precut batmobile Kit but it was a more modern looking one from comics. If they had kits for the one you posted I'd make buy one for myself.

I'm only bothering with this beta because it gets you access to the first DLC pack and a character when the full game releases.

Of course, playing the beta again just re-confirms that I will not be buying the game so I didn't think this all the way through.

They were all at DragonCon last year.

Time of the Doctor is on Prime, isn't it? Or maybe I bought it when it came out. I don't know, it's free to stream for me.

I'm shocked Netflix kept that $8 price going for as long as they did. I know it's shitty when you compare it to the old plan that used to get you physical DVDs and streaming for the same price, but other than that this would be the first price increase for ongoing subscribers in something like 4-5 years?

I'm on the last Tennant season of Doctor Who now. I did see that Matt Smith Christmas special which was good and the first episode of Capaldi. We've been on a break for a bit since we were watching that and Torchwood concurrently. Got to be a bit much.

The wife hates Moffat and always has bad things to say about him. Her complaints about him seem to be pretty legitimate from what I've seen of his shows so far. Once he splits it'd be interesting if Capaldi took more of a role in the direction of the show since he's been a mega fan for ~50 years.
