PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Worth full price. Takes a minute to figure out, but it is really fun/addictive. It's rogue-like (lite) in that you start with nothing and find items/weapons to make you stronger in a run. But once you beat a dungeon you're able to start from the beginning of the next one after dying (there is a mode where you have to do it all in one life). There are also diamonds that you can use to unlock permanent unlocks (start with more hearts) and other weapons/items to appear in the game.
Awesome, gonna grab that too then. Thanks.

Woo, kinda pricey at 400 bucks but Tivo just redid their roamio (ota dvr box) to include 1tb drive and apparently a lifetime guide sub.

Old version was 500gb and only like 100 or so, but had a 15/month guide.

It sort of didn't register with me yesterday. This is for OTA only. There is apparently no Cable card slot. I can't get OTA here so no sold.

Too bad the Vita version isn't coming here. This looks fantastic. Much better than all those shit FF iOS/Android versions.

Weird, went to look up the original to see if there was a way to play it, and all NA has ever gotten was the PS2 version. Its not available on any of the NA digital stores.

In the spirit of the NFL Draft being tonight, I wish we could pull a Cuphead for No Man's Sky trade. I would even give up a future 3rd and 5th.
How about we keep No Man's Sky and give them that weird dream game from Media Molecules instead? And Gran Turismo if they want more. Or fluffy elephant dog guarding the weird talking climbing boy.

Cuphead looks interesting.  Too bad I suck at platformers.  If it is harder then Rayman I will probably skip.  Wish I was better at those games but I just suck at them and don't have the patience for them.

I used to love Grand Turismo. #3 was one of my most played ps2 games, and I bought 5 on release. What made me bored of the series was all the specific car races you had to do to progress. Like I don't want to fucking buy and tune a slow ass Toyota Prius to win just to continue on in the game.

I'm not sure it's really a platformer. Seems more like a boss rush game. The only footage I've ever seen is of boss/enemy fights.

That being said it does look like you'll be doing a lot of jumping during those boss fights.

the vita version is awesome, $10 is a great deal for a shitload of mainstream jrpg action.
I do need to get back to the Vita one. I was at the point where the wedding had been agreed to, I think, not long after the lightning challenge. No idea how far in that is. It ran pretty well aside from the stupid load screens every time you go into a damn hut. Not sure how they failed to figure out a better way to handle that when porting the game from the PS2 version.

Man, I'm not sure we would get much of anything for Dreams. Maybe Frizzy?

Maybe...

I do really like games like Dreams for one reason. They help you distinguish between fans and fanboys.

Anyone who says they're excited for Dreams is a PS4 fanboy who would just talk up anything exclusive to the system. They're not using logic and just letting their mind be clouded by the "it's only on PS4, and PS4 is awesome, so it must be awesome" fallacy.

Same holds true for Fable Legends on Xbox One (it's looked like dogshit since day 1) and the weird live action episodes of Quantum Break. Anyone who says either of those were good is being a fanboy.

Cool. Might have to into this one more after it comes out. Could be fun to play co-op.

Gator is the Browns GM confirmed?
For me, at least Cuphead looks like a game. If No Man's Sky did not have spaceships, everyone would be calling it a walking simulator. If people want games that aren't really games, that is cool. I just have seen nothing that make me think it is a game.

I hope I am wrong and that it is the best game ever and it breaks sales records, but Cuphead looks WAY better to me.

I'm really digging the Golden Week theme they made for the webstore sales page. Love the colors and fish thingy. Wish they would make a free PS4 theme out of it.

I'm excited for dreams!

Ok, that's not true.  I do really like media molecule though.  But I don't know how to describe my feelings about dreams.  I don't even think I can say I'm cautiously optimistic.  More like I'm really hoping there is something we're all missing, but it just looks like a really fancy version of mario paint.
