PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Ugh, I knew digimon was going to betray me eventually. I think I might have gotten a Lilithmon last night, but I'm not sure. Like a dummy I digivolved my devimon and gatomon that I had been using to steamroll eaters unknowingly. Hadn't really recognized that their set damage attacks were letting me cruise through everything. MegaKabuterimon's INT-piercing has been helping, but I miss the set dmg attacks. Gonna have to actually start buying status clearing items too, because I was trying to run through that boss with maybe 2 dot status cleanse items. Was driving me up a wall since the damn thing would just spam that attack. My save time is about 45hrs now and I feel like the story is just now starting lol. I have been doing all the cases as well though, good for extra exp.
Yeah, Lilith is her int stat X3 for damage. One shot most enemies that she was string against, and could still do considerable damage against ones she was weak to. Bephelmon is def piercing, so damage comes out just as high. Story really starts picking up at chapter 10 or 11, but the bosses pick up as well. I probably made things much harder on myself by running 2 platinumnumenom or w/e, and then just one real attacker.

I saved a guy in a barrel in the Depths, I'll go look for him at Firelink and try to figure out what I need to level up to cast a pyromancy.

I accidentally stabbed a guy by the elevator that goes up in firelink to the church thingy because I got chased down by a stupid enemy, so now those assholes chase me down all the time. It's really fucking annoying but I'm not going to spend 15000 souls to get them to leave me alone. I'll just avoid them until I'm strong enough to kill them.
Can't you stream PS3 games? I would absolutely love to watch you play Dark Souls.

I still haven't gotten the gold or plat numenmon for the exp/gold boost. Didn't really start looking at the guides on those until fairly recently. I think I'm about halfway through the grind for the platinum one right now though, might take a break from the story to finish leveling one up and to get a couple more mega level digimon before I end up getting super frustrated at a boss again.

Completely spaced on pre-ordering SO5 so thanks for the reminder

TMNT's was a few years after my time.
I was more Star Wars, G.I Joe, Transformers (and the lesser Go Bots).

I also collected Garbage Pail Kids cards and did anyone collect these guys like me?

Am I the only one the right age to have sent in GI Joe UPCs to get the Refrigerator Perry figure?  I want to say the Sgt. Slaughter one was the same way.  I wonder if I still have both of those.

I'm not sure what your memory space is at that point, but those come in at 16 each. I ran with platsukamons until I hit like 150 or so memory. They're much easier to make. Exp is slightly less cause they only hold 2 usbs, but it's still a pretty good chunk.

I had a friend who was big into the Muscle stuff.  I never understood those though.  They were too much like those little green army men where they were just static figures that you couldn't do much with.

Yeah, I definately did for the Sgt Slaughter figure. I remember him.

Did his wrestling career come before or after his Joe stint?

Totally nerdy thing:

I used to clip out those fact cards that were on the back of the Joe's box, and save them all in a drawer for later perusal.

I think I'm around 110 or so right now. I should probably be using my space better to level up more digimon faster, but I haven't been thinking about it much outside of trying to swap out when CAM levels get maxed.

Yeah, there were several Joe mail aways.... I think Cobra Commander hooded was the first one. They also had some guy I think named Super Trooper.

Also got this mail away Steppenwolf from the Super Power line

Yeah, I hear you there. The difference for me was compared to something like green army men, there was such a huge variety of figures. It turned into mostly a collection for me trying to get all the figures like Top mentioned. It felt like there must have been hundreds of unique characters.

I know this is the standard argument. My response was always that I was using my imagination and actually able to act out what I was imagining with the characters that could move.

I loved the He-Man and Star Wars franchises as well, but I always liked the GI Joe and Transformers better since they were articulated.

Put a few points in attunement is all you need. At 10 you can equip 1, 12, 2, 14, 3, etc. There is no Int or Faith min. requirement to use any pyromancies and the damage scales off the level of the flame.

Wrong thread, we're talking about toys from the 80s/early 90s.

Even as a kid I tended to prefer toys with less articulation. They were much easier to get to stand up, and they didn't break as quick. Never really liked the look of all those articulation points either.

This kind of sucks for those of us (just me?) who bought Firefly Diary at release; I don't see a version with just Yomawari.

The $49.99 LE is on Amazon already: http://www.amazon.com/Yomawari-Night-Alone-Firefly-PlayStation-Limited/dp/B01FWKKVTM/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1464283103&sr=1-1&keywords=firefly+diary

Standard bundle listing: http://www.amazon.com/Yomawari-Night-Alone-Firefly-PlayStation-Standard/dp/B01FWKKVVK/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1464283103&sr=1-2&keywords=firefly+diary

Ya, worth, and what people are selling them for are two VERY different things. A better measure of worth is to look at the sold listings.

Groups of 4 are $1-3, and lots of 30-50 are in the $30-45 range.

Yeah, but sort it by highest price and there are still several high priced singles that I'm sure someone picked up from my mom's yardsale for a nickel

The Google Play store is supposed to update on Thursday, but it's sort of on a "we'll update it, when we get around to it" PSN schedule.

I had a shit ton of those MUSCLE guy things.  More about collecting with me too, but I do have some hazy memories of playing with some friends with them.

Did anyone get those weird rubber WWF figures?  Stood about 9 inches maybe and just pure hard rubber, so you could try to get them into figure four leg locks, but they'd always just spring out.

I had the ring too, and my friends and I would place it in the middle of the room, each sit on either side with a pile of wrestlers, then throw them at the ring so they'd bounce out at a high velocity and hit the other dude.  Was fun until the middle of the plastic ring snapped.

We cant even leave early tomorrow since we have funds that are open regular hours.  ugh.  But its Friday so we wont be doing any real work anyway.

Last of the Mega Man 3 videos. I'm especially proud of 3-10 since I figured this out on my own. I doubt you'll see anyone else beat enemies the way I did in that video:

Bought!

J/K

Really wish I still had all that stuff. Would be cool to pull out all old toys to reminisce and show my kids. I just have my old comics and baseball cards from my youth.

Back then I would sell off toys at garage sales so I could buy other junk. Didn't have much vision of the future past next week back then.

Speaking of spoiled brats since gator brought it up.

Friend of mine and I went to the same daycare place when we were kids. We both had a pretty solid GI Joe collection at the time. We both brought them to daycare to play with but as we both took care of our shit, wouldnt let the other kids play with them. We were told by daycare people we could either let other kids play with them too or put them up and not play with them.

We put them up.
