Wonder if I should even get dual destinies if limited run games decides to actually print this game physically.
If it was only up to LRG, I would say to wait, but considering it can never happen without Crapcoms approval, I would just buy it now. A physical release is highly unlikely.

I ordered my first amiibo like a month ago when we were talking about shovel knight and how it's a great one and self made by the company

Amazon was out of stock the entire time but I just got a shipment confirmation so friday I will get my first and last one for the wii u

Hopefully the content is fun

All that effort I spent to be vague and just wrong enough in my spoiler talk to avoid spoiling anything and you fellows just straight up drop names of the villains. smdh Apollo Justice spoilers ahead.

Kristoph was an awful villain. He was pathetic. He was already in jail for murder without any reasonable explanation as to why he's still a threat or cares that we're about to reveal to the world that his grandest scheme of all was failing to kill a little girl for seven years. Nothing about the final case revealed a quantum of anything that would piss him off. His only notable feature was wrecking Phoenix's career and not even in the brilliant way Manfred tried to piss all over the Edgeworth legacy. The final case certainly didn't prove he nuked Phoenix in a dirty manner any more than his last murder conviction did. He's not interesting, compelling, or convincing. He's clearly a stand-in villain when Capcom devs said the plot had to involve a jury system. Worse, the last time we had to beat someone twice in court, she LITERALLY CLAWED HER WAY OUT OF HELL ITSELF TO CARRY OUT A FAMILIAL AND PERSONAL BLOOD GRUDGE. Kristoph does not rise to that level. Not even close.

Capcom, if you're reading this and you bring this turd back, I will kill myself. Blood will be on your hands. Do not be that stupid.

Well, I didn't want to spoil much after about the first case, but since Apollo Justice is terrible I shouldn't really care so...

Kristoph cares because he confessed to a lesser murder charge to get a life sentence and retire to club fed. You're trying to pin a first degree murder charge on him, again, and he wants to avoid being executed.

That isn't stated anywhere in the game nor is it even slightly effective as appropriate final battle stakes. I guess we aren't arguing if it's terrible or not, we agree on that, but I don't think they intended that to be the reason.

Updated Hyrule Warriors Legend. However "Extras" in the menu is shaded out. therefore I cannot purchase season pass or see any dlc ??

I guess that weird Super Meat Boy price actually is a sale price despite there being no info on the eShop or Nintendo.com to suggest that that was the case:

You know, I have all of the SNES games that are on 3ds, and I refuse to buy them a 4th time unless I can get them for a discount of some kind (including the original SNES game, wii purchase, wii u, and this)

Wait when did Legend of Dark Witch 3 come out? I thought they were just on 2.

I'm pretty sure Phoenix directly confronts him with that theory at one point, but he denies it. Though I would have to play the game over again to be sure, and I really just don't feel like it. It really is the only thing I can think of that would make any sense though.

Is anyone else playing Pocket Card Jockey? I decided to download it after hearing some talk about it on a few podcasts and playing the demo. This game came out of left field for me, with no prior knowledge to it even coming out. I've been playing for a few days now and absolutely love the game, the mix of solitaire and horse racing works surprisingly well and the game is an absolute blast. Really hope to see Nintendo do a mobile version of this too as it would be a perfect game for the phone.

It's a good time-waster, but it's hard to feel the sense of progression due to some of the random elements of the game. Still, I've probably put 8 or so hours into it. I like it.

Fire Emblem Awakening has captured me lately, though. I love these kind of games, yet I think I'm not very good at them.

its a very basic game that gets old fast..i though if you bred the horse you got more powerful horses BUT i retire horses with like 80 and 90s and their JR only restarts at 35 so no clue how you get powerful horses.

eShop deals are just the worst. How in GOd's name has Splatoon not gone on sale once? They're going to keep it at $60 until no one will even want it for $15. I think Nintendo enjoys burning economics 101 textbooks

Pocket Card Jockey is pretty fun. It does get a bit repetitive but is fun. I've won about 75% of the trophies and some I just can't win at all no matter how hard I try.  It is worth the price, but I do agree with the sentiments here. Also when you start a race look at the bottom screen only. The way the card goes down you should most of the time see the 5 blob start card....now just work fast to unlock it!

It's definitely been on sale before.

20% off for those that played the beta.

I agree that their strategy with sales/pricing is a little puzzling. Mario 3D World is a great example, I don't think it was ever available on sale for less than $40 and the retail price never dropped from $60 until they decided to drop it all the way to $20. I get that they want to keep the price high as long as possible but sometimes their decisions don't seem to make much sense.

Not from the eShop but I picked up Splatoon when it was $25 on Black Friday.

Yeah, I saw that. Personally, multiplayer-centric games belong on the harddrives. I completely regret getting Halo 5 on disc, even if it saved me $12. When my friends are online and playing, for that one time in the week, it's nice to be able to boot in and out quickly. It's also nice to just be able to quickly play a match or two and get back into a story based game.

These types of games heavily lose its value on disc personally because I'm less likely to play them later on. MK8 and Smash Bros are both downloaded and it's the primary reason I still play them both semi-regularly today.

I could have sworn Splatoon has been on sale before, around Christmas maybe?
Yes, but I am referring to eshop sales.

That's hardly what I'd consider a proper sale. :whistle2:/

30% discount on Splatoon page is still up. I don't know if you can still redeem it, but here it is.

https://my.nintendo.com/rewards/3d7e36573ca043a2

I crunched the numbers, assuming you paid the maximum $140 to get 140 coins, you'll get $18 back towards another game; min. 12.85% versus DDP's 10%. More, once you factor in still getting the full value of coins despite discounts and sales. It's more generous than DDP, but not as good (especially when you consider DDP + Club Nintendo).

Either way, not enough to get me to buy digital even if switching discs can be enough to dissuade me from playing certain games more often. Digital copy would be great, though I doubt Nintendo would ever offer it. Or, at very least, the rumor that the NX uses cards instead of discs would mean less hassle changing games if they can't get scratched or smudged.

Except that now Nintendo is dictating what we can save on. I would take a marginally lower percent to be paid out in actual credit again that I can use however I please.

And the coins are still almost useless to those who prefer physical copies of games. On top of the fact that the discounts are for first party titles, which most of us have already purchased.

I grew up on Nintendo and Sega and loved playing with my friends. We would trade and borrow games. Today,I have a 6 yr old son and we both play a lot on the Wii u. If I only had digital games, when he grows up,he will not be able to keep any of the games I have and we wouldn't be able to share.

If they added coins for retail games, I'd be happy with $5 eShop credit for 100 coins. But I don't really expect that much from them. At this point, My Nintendo is less a reward program and more a marketing ploy for digital.

Sorry, I agree with you, but I'm not specifically sure why you quoted me.

There's a field on MyNintendo to input codes. It was used during the rollout. People who had ClubNintendo accounts got a free coin code. It seems pretty likely they'll have codes for physical. Just not until NX.

I'd also like a way to cash out coins for eShop credit, even if it means I'd get a little less than the discount I'd get from a coupon. The Wii U premier program was really generous in that regard. Alternatively a coupon system that let me choose from ANY title on the eShop, rather than only the currently promoted titles, would be nice.

too bad this and all of the other port rpg were like 1.99 or 2.99

Infinite Dunamis -

10 to 15 to pay for a port is insane
Yeah, but waiting for a sale makes it alright. I paid more for Adventure Bar Story on 3DS than it would have cost on Android, but I just really didn't want to play it on my phone. If someone is good with playing games like that on their phone, all good.

dont think many of them ever went on sale did they?

I bought Conveni Dream today and is a really cool game and very addictive. Takes a while to figure out but once you do it really draws you in. Definitely well worth $5 and you get 10 Gold coins for the purchase! (If that matters for you)

I've been trying to resist buying Conveni Dream. But for only $5, it's calling meeeee. Glad to know it's fun! I've been refreshing Metacritic, but no reviews have popped up yet.

Very based of Circle to price the game at $5 instead of $4.99, so we actually get coins for the purchase. They really listen to the fans. (They actually even sought advice on what to name the game.)

Yeah the 30% off Splatoon coupon is long gone but I really don't consider that a deal or sale because you have to first spend money on something else (also probably overpriced compared to other platforms). Besides, the only eshop games I buy are cheap which doesnt net me much gold coins. Personally, these rewards are kinda useless the way the'yve been changed. I no longer get rewarded as heavily for buying phyiscal games.

Nintendo is really sneaky about how they award gold coins -- I bought two 4.99 games and got 0 coins.  That's almost $10 total but you can't buy multiple games in a single transaction.  Plus, they are purposely pricing a ton of games at 4.99, 9.99, etc. to deprive you of more coins....
