Can anyone explain the difference between the standard and deluxe Battlefield 1 Collector's Edition?

Unless my Amazon app is being glitchy, both show as coming with the Deluxe Edition and the list of what comes with it is exactly the same.

I'm going to pass on the slims, definitely getting a scorpio or whatever they decide to call it in 2017. What do you think the price will be $500-$600? I'm sure it'll come with an elite controller as well.

All I could see, at a glance, was the Hellfire Pack DLC, but that should be standard for any preorder, I think. Plus, it's only a few weapons, so I can't see why it's worth ~$30.

 
Well you usually don't expect good statues in collectors editions. And that does look like a pretty good statue.

That advertised metal case looks like a steelbook, just look at the binding.

Back on topic: After seeing the Scorpio if Sony pulls this bullshit with the NEO i'm done with consoles as well...

They're going to ask 500-600 for a beefed up console that's already 1/2 weaker than the best gaming rigs you can get in Summer of 2016 LET ALONE winter of 2017... Not worth it.

Well I tried preordering Attack in Titan XB1 and so far so good. I would've already got the cancelation email so I'm pretty sure it went through. Is there any way I can fix this?

Yeah, I thought about getting one, pass on the $50 paint job price. It certainly looks nice, but it's really hard to justify $150 on a controller, let alone $200. Same reason I passed on that craziness where GameStop had the Halo accessory pack for the controller that was $40-50. For $200, I can't help but wonder if we'll maybe get the unpainted accessories as well.

That, and my Elite controller just broke. The warranty on the things is absurdly short (90 days), and when I asked about paying for a repair, MS support said it wasn't an option (the guy even suggested asking a random place around me if they could do a repair). I really like the thing, but the support is horrible, and having faults amount to being out $150 after less than 6 months is nuts. Hopefully eBay has a good kit of replacement parts, because it seems the solution is trying to open it and fix it myself...

I know I didn't complete all of the DLC, but I feel like I must be forgetting something bc I don't remember that shrine. I sort of hope they don't make some ridic CE for this bc I already own the PC version and I'm just planning on getting the remaster for free.

Erm... well, if it looks like it's a pre-auth thing, I'd start with calling your CC and have them take a look. It might just be a security thing (I had something similar once, but it was unique to my Starbucks card, so...). You could also try testing with a large pre-auth from somewhere else to see if it's Amazon-specific, but it might just be easier to call the CC company. Sounds weird, though. I'd be interested in hearing how it turns out, in case it ever happens to me.

Apparently the 2TB will be the only one available at launch. Amazon has all 3 listed but the smaller ones have a 12/31 place holder date.

Yea I would DEFINITELY expect a Gears themed one, especially since there is a Gears themed Elite controller. I also expect a Forza Horizon themed one as well.

You're right. It's in the further description. I suspect the CE will be a Ubisoft exclusive given what has happened with the past few Ubisoft CEs where you could choose the base game version.
