Next we will probably all be buying miniscule plots of land in Siberia to establish ourselves as Russian residents.

Table Top Racing World Tour is glitched on the Humble Store if anyone cares. It's $4.99 when it's meant to be full price. Well, that's if you believe the dev..

EDIT: Ok, MSRP should be $14.99 so it's technically not 75% off. $4.99 isn't too bad though.

EDIT 2: It's possible that it's a bad glitch if the dev meant that the MSRP is supposed to be $14.99 but with a 75% off discount.. so it could end up cheaper if they "fix" it. Be careful
If you still have your Humble Monthly Subscriber (10% off) discount it takes it down to $4.49. I'm kind of tempted since I didn't spend much during the Summer Sales.

UPDATE: Bought!

I actually saw the stuff about the new expansion when the client loaded up. Might have to reactivate my agent.
If you got the gold version I say go for it... The Underground is allot of what the game does right... but also allot of what the game does wrong. Grind on top of grind with little more than loot tire spinning as a reward. (AKA your not going to improve your character via the underground in a reasonable fashion or maybe not at all.)

The Division was a lot of fun but eventually it just turns into another endless gear optimization loot grind. Just doesn't have the staying power. The guns are more fun in Borderlands or Destiny and the gunplay in the latter is what keeps you coming back. The Division would still be a great game to pick up cheap though. The first 80-100 hours are awesome.

Too much shape shifting going on in my activity feed. I don't know who you guys are anymore
You're a white, ever shifting shape. You need to find your way through the cracks. Use the holes punched by the ones that came before you. Make your way through the cracks, break through and create new holes by using the green elements. Enjoy the party.

Sounds like a night with Fox's mom :speaktothehand:

fuck you, bro!

Speaking of bros, Broforce is one of the Weekend deals at 60% off. Still waiting on the second one to populate.

Broforce is fun as hell.
It is, but arguably the best Monthly or even regular Humble candidate going right now. I could see it hitting either at this point.

Re: Kholat, not installed it yet but it picked it up for some of my Amazon credit the last day of the sale. Sounds like a game I'll have to be in the mood for.

Also grabbed that Table Top Racing glitch, looks like a bunch did. Deffo a Bronight candidate.

I can't recall one game that I've gone from totally stoked about to completely bored and uncaring about quicker than The Division.

I got a free copy of The Division when I bought my PC a few months ago. Sadly, the most fun I've had with that game was the simple satisfaction of redeeming the key that I didn't pay any money for.

But man, the game looks awesome when you're running around the city at night in a blizzard. The game absolutely nails nighttime urban blizzards, for sure. Sometimes I load up the game just to see if the daytime/weather cycle is smack in the middle of a midnight blizz.

Yeah Division looks great but is so grindy and samey and boring. I am glad I got some money back from trading it in cause I couldn't get excited for it. I didn't max out my character or anything, got tired of the game before I reached end game.

DLH.net (EDIT: has to be German language) has World War II Panzer Claws 1&2 keys.

It has the facebook requirement that newer DLH keys have had, but someone on steamgifts posted this JS to show the key button without dealing with facebook.  You just paste it in the browser console (CTRL+SHIFT+K on firefox).

Code:
$('.hide.btn').show();$('.keyUnlock3').attr('href','/ajax/keyassign.php?gameid=27421');

I have a question about people's thoughts about F2P games.

Do you play them for a long time, or play for a bit and quite cause of grinding, paywalls, etc?

I'm just kind of wondering this as I've played a few F2P recently (and have done in the past) and I always seem to quit them cause I feel things are too slow, or they only give you generic stuff to work with, while rare stuff is far and in between. I've  currently been playing Gems of War, and I do find it a very decent game, though a bit grind heavy. I'm wondering if I should be focusing more on games that aren't F2P that aren't so grind heavy, or just work a bit on it and play others or such. I do like in Gems of War that there are characters with skills that get extra gold or souls or such. It makes the grind a bit more bearable, though it feels way too long for getting souls for leveling.

I know Crush, Crush was poop for being F2P and is likely poop when you pay as well. I also played many mobile F2P games (usually Japanese translated ones) and usually grew tired once I met a boss that killed my whole team in 1 hit (Puzzles and Dragons) or I was getting way too many generic monsters, so I was forced to use the one decent monster I got in the beginning the whole game.

I am somewhat enjoying Gems of War so I'll keep playing it for a bit, but I do know it may just go to the taking too long to progress and I don't want to pay.

Just want to know people's thoughts on the F2P games similar to what I'm saying, not a F2P like Team Fortress 2, which is fully featured and you just grind for items.

Evolve.

From 70 players of yesterday to over 9000 players of today.

Let's see how much time it takes to see it again around 500 players.

Edit 2. Motoki you should create a personal group with that "y u no wen free" pic. A group for people to get shamed.

Depends on the business model for me, games like League I've had played since beta since I can grind for new characters and it never really felt pay 2 win to me.

As long as the business model is balance then I'm fine with free 2 play games
I think the best examples of free 2 play so far is Dota 2 and League of Legends since they provide the same mode with tons of updates.

I'll give it a month to be at around 5k and under, I love how many people are crying in reviews and the steam forums about it going f2p.

Wouldn't TF2 be the best example of F2P? 100% cosmetic stuff isn't it? Or do they sell more than that like CS GO (I know GO isn't F2P)?

Yes. Evolve blows though...traded my copy a while back.

I do agree League of Legends and DOTA 2 have excellent F2P capabilities. I've just been trying other F2P games, and some are very enjoyable like Gems of War, but they require more time. I'm mainly contemplating to myself if I should stop "wasting" time on the F2P grindier games like this and play real games, or just devote less time to it (likely doing this). I used to play League of Legends a lot a few years ago, but it's been a while since I've played.

I'm not sure whether it matters to anyone, but the same deal is available stateside. Maybe I'm missing the point?
So how does this work, I just hit accept and I get ten bucks, or do I have to wait a month or something?

Edit: Bleh, only available to Prime members.

... I wonder if I could get the ten bucks if I use my Prime trial.

... Eh. Free players have access to random weapon drops and crates, but they do not get any cosmetic items. Some specific game modes are also not completely available unless you pay $1 per play (Mann Vs Machine mode) but those give you special items when you beat them, though again, not completely necessary.

So I just played a little of Table Top Racing. Played through the first circuit or whatever they call it. It seems pretty solid. Mario Kart clone with car upgrades. Really like the way the tracks look. Something about being tiny just makes everything look cooler. Was reading that this was recently "free" with PS+. To me that says bundle chances seem reasonably high with Humble. Hard to regret a $3ish game though. Especially one I /gasp PLAY.
