Re: Civ V, I completely agree that it's only worth it once you have the Gods and Kings expansion, at a minimum. Everything included in that should have been a part of the base game.

I think there was only that one dude that got all butthurt about that game. Everyone has pretty much forgotten about Battleabortion.

I'm also notsureifserious about this Hyper dude. So many noobs (and a few not so noobs) get so offended about dumbass obvious sarcastic crap people say here I can't even tell any more. Plus his style is somewhere between troll and butthurt.

I went with the Chicago style, tots, and upgraded to a lemon-berry slush. Not bad for less than $6 ($5ish if you don't upgrade your drink. It was a little slice of heaven today and hit the spot. It tries really hard. Too hard. It's definitely playing up the nostalgia angle. At the same time it feels much more simplistic and less epic than some of those games. It really wants to be emotional and right from the get go it tries to tug at your heart strings with all the subtlety of a freight train.
 
The characters I suppose unsurprisingly are cliches. Quite warrior type, perfect little Mary Sue priestess etc. It's completely linear too.
 
I don't know, I guess I expect more even from a (quasi) indie Unity game. Especially one that's priced at $40.
 
You're much better off spending your money on TITS. Or tits.

What's the consensus on Depth vs Shark Attack Death Match? Can probably only make one event this week and I'm leaning towards Depth. Does that make me a dingus?

Hmm. Should I buy Battleborn in the trading thread or should I wait and see if it gets turned free to play like rumored and then not give a shit. 

 
Battleborn already bundled, man if it wasn't for all that GTA Monies I think 2k would be looking like going under. When was their last well received big release? Bioshock Infinite? 2013?
