Is there a program that automates the selling of cards or has that been slowed down thanks to needing a confirmation, one-by-one, from the Steam app?

You can now confirm in bulk from the app. I'm not sure if there's an automaton out there that can do the work for you, but for me, manually adding my cards to the market and confirming them is one of the few things I like about being alive.

I had bought Rayman Origins from Steam when it was $2.50, so you can thank me and the Ubisoft Humble Bundle buyers for the sacrifice.

And Guilty Gear X2 Reload is 599 coins on Tremor. Marked up for obvious reasons, but I had enough coins and got it just now. Surprisingly, Tremor was very quick and send the code just now too. I missed 99 coin Never Alone, but I'm sure that will be back in stock soon.

So Rust sucks, unless you're in a huge group with an adamantium fortress? That seems to be the Steam review consensus.
Any time you try to play a survival game solo, you're putting yourself at a major disadvantage. Unless, of course, it's a strictly single player game. Different games will have varying degrees of how necessary/useful it is to play as a group, but I'd saying 90% of survival games are designed to be played in groups or at least in pairs.

Rust on public servers sucks because you'll just get squashed over and over until you join an alpha clan/tribe/team (whatever it's called). On private servers, it can be better but you still run into the issue that there just isn't much to do in the game. You build a hut/house/fort and learn how to make guns and then shoot people because that's all the game offers. And there's a million better games for shooting people. This was where I felt ARK had a real advantage since you could explore the cave-dungeons, try and tame or breed bigger dinosaurs and generally have goals beyond "Kill the guys over yonder".

I haven't played in a long time so I don't know if they've expanded the map any. When I last played, there was a small area with some concrete buildings and shelters (sort of like Stalker) and some animal & resource spawns. But 90% of the map was literally worthless -- no buildings, no resource nodes, not even animal spawns to keep you alive. You could walk out there (and get lost) but there was nothing at all to do out there and you couldn't even reasonably build a house out there since you had no food or nodes.

Playing even with a few friends doesn't help much on larger/public servers. You'll just get your sand castles kicked down by the clan with 100 members because they're not going to let you become a potential threat.

What's up with that guy's face? Is he having a stroke? Is that why he walked through a window?

Also...

The retail version of the Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition will cost EUR/USD 39.99 and includes:

  • Premium packaging
  • 5 Game Discs (one-time Steam key redemption required)
They're putting the whole thing on discs? That's... different.

So in other words Rust sucks? Idle for cards or give it away? I dislike survival games....and this game always looked bad, but the other BTA games looked aight. Luckily I didn't have it before.

Rust added an XP system a patch or two ago to help noobs, but it instead just made it where the people who spend the most time chopping up trees level the fastest and are the strongest. Something they are trying to fix.

I don't guess any of these survival games with a PVP endgame have figured out that you need to have a 'pve only' starter area for new people to not get ganked by groups of people until they have gotten used to the game and have enough skill to know what's going on.

It was a big deal when it first came out. No idea if it was the "first" of its genre but it definitely made a big impact. But it's been surpassed by overall better survival games and I'd think its lasting attraction is limited to a pretty narrow range of players.

If you don't like survival as a genre, I can't see what you'd like about Rust.

This isn't always the case. Most of the hours I put in to Ark were on a public server that had a typical "alpha" tribe on it. Our tribe never got to be over 4 people, and we played in such a way that we appeared to be a nonthreat for months. We acted friendly to everyone, acted as though we had less resources than we really did, gave our tribe an innocent name and didn't build up our main base until we felt we had enough to be unnassailable. By the time anyone noticed we were a threat, we had too much going on to be attacked without wasting massive amounts of resources and putting the attacker in a position where they could be taken out by either ourselves or the other tribes.

"Quantum Break sucks, Windows 10 sucks.  Microsoft will go out of business with these sucky games and OS."

"Quantum Break is coming to Steam."

"OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY QUANTUM BREAK I AM SO EXCITED."

A lot of people are saying Hillary Clinton wants to take away your Steam accounts.
Although the first amendment people, maybe there is something that can be done. I don't know. I tell you what, that will be a horrible day.

Has it been that long since someone mentioned Bernie Sanders?

I hear he just bought a $600,000 dollar summer home. Do you think he bought it with campaign money?

I'm sure everyone wants to know hat Motoki has to say about this.

Does not seem he was banned, just inactive since the 5th.  Probably fell into a hidden object hole.  Kinda like a Youtube hole but instead of following linked videos one after the other you keep looking for some single-pixel object on a really busy screen and eventually you are driven insane and end up wandering around the house with a crude paper drawing asking your cats to help you find it.  It happens to the best of us.

Jim Sterling's site is getting DDoS attacked because he wasn't impressed with No Man's Sky and someone was upset about the less than glowing review.

How pathetic do you have to be to DDoS someone over a negative game review.

Bah and Weiler's moms get DDoS'd on a nightly basis, but they always say they've never met a load too big too handle. Maybe Jim Sterling needs to learn how to handle bigger loads.

Played 4 hours of NMS last night. Had to force myself to go to sleep. So far it's great...lets hope the PC version isn't buggy so I can start over Friday. Definitely not for everyone...but then again I played 130+ hours of Rust which is more repetitive.

I think Motoki and I live near each other and I've been noticing a lot more homeless people around here lately. A lot, and I mean a LOT of really tremendous people have been saying he's probably one of them. Sad!

I'm reverse hacking him. Let me know if you reach the kernel before I do and then I can use that to backtrack the IP and get his MAC address.
I figure that if I can bit trace his ethernet, I should be able to overclock the VRAMs via my Steam mobile authorizer. Once his Mbps goes down, I'm in.

Is it wrong whenever I see "Weiler" in my head I say "wheeler" and think of the "I Spy" cartoon....

The increase in homeless is because he's not around to murder them and make them into meat pies.

It's kinda like how you see more birds when the neighbors cat dies.

That's what happens when you neglect your rent to play granny games. Now the hidden objects they are compelled to find are sandwich crusts in garbage cans.

I have this image of Motoki tied to a chair while cyanic or Shifty Slug tortures him with dental probes like that evil doctor in Marathon Man.

"Is it safe?"

"Is what safe?"

"Is it safe?"

"Yes, it's very safe."

Yanni watches the scene from above, barely cracking a smile and unable to conceal his pleasure.
