... morans

There's a big difference though.

In Hatred, the point of the game is to kill innocent people.

In GTA, yes you can go on murderous rampages and everyone does it, but its the choice that sets it apart. Obviously, the protaganist of literally every GTA game is largely a low life murderous scumbag, but I look at that aspect as no different than something like The Sopranos. You don't have to murder innocent people (unless they're innocent in a storyline mission), but you can if you want to.
And then we have Hitman.

Typically I don't mind paying near full-price at launch if I can get at least one long and memorable session out of the game in question, and No Man's Sky has already provided me with two great gaming sessions that were really fun and full of surprises. I don't get that from a lot of games anymore. Definitely happy with my purchase, but I also avoided pre-release videos, spoilers, and hype, so that might have something to do with it.

Also, I grew up playing this:

If nothing else, I am armed with the context and experience to understand how crazy it is that this game even exists. The fact that it is functional--and fun--is pretty much blowing out what little is left of my brains.
showing your age old man. Utopia and sea battle were the best

DROP EVERYTHING, DEAD RISING 1 IS UP FOR PRE-PURCHASE.

Can't get myself to pre-order for $20. If it was $10 (and I think that's what the MSRP should be) I would have pre-ordered.

$10 should have been two games. Nuclear Throne for $5 more is not that tempting.
And wasn't it in a Monthly? This HiB is probably the weakest yet, but I feel I say that each time now. Will tremor the walking sim in the $1 tier.

I so excited I bought dem and already own........

Tanks a lot mad-joker!!!
I didn't have Idol Hands, so I tried it and it was already used. And since nobody said thanks for it, someone's email is about to get a bunch of account queries.

Someone send help, I think Mooby's subliminal messaging has finally worked on me. I've been playing some Heroes of the Storm the last few days after noticing that I had it installed.  I haven't bought any skins at least!

I don't think I've bought a game from Origin since the Great Origin Fall Sale of 2012 when everything under $20 was free. That could change today!

I'm still salty that I missed that.

Edit:
Lethal League is pretty fun, wish I didn't wait this long to play it.

It's a great game. Unfortunate that they price the heroes so high. I think a lot more people would play if it had a cheaper pay model.

I own all of the heroes except the newest one that was released last week. NO RAGRETS on my purchases as I have over 1000 games played. I've purchased most of them when they hit 50% off or used the in game gold.

Sea Battle was great. Almost as good as Shark! Shark!

Also, Rocket Weapon: NE47N-ABGGL-PN2F8
played shark shark on Fox's Mom Last night.

Yeah, played shark shark until my thumb hurt. intellivision controllers were the worst. Honorable mentions to Burgertime, bump n jump.

Did you ever play white water or thunder castle?

Wow, this whole post is a metaphor for a night at Fox's moms place

Thunder Castle was very good. Awesome music!

fuck it, let me just take a moment to list some of my favorite Intellivision games not already mentioned (I still own all of them and their original cases!): Atlantis, Beauty and the Beast, Night Stalker, Astro Smash, B-17 Bomber, Advanced D&D Treasure of Tarmin, Lock N' Chase, Star Strike, Space Hawk, Boxing, Horse Racing, Baseball, Football, Hockey...

And of course everyone's favorite Intellivison game to play with Fox's mom: Triple Action!

you forgot dracula. horse racing reminds me of whipping fox's mom.

I still have all my carts and overlays in a box but my intellivision and voice addon disappeared in one too many moves

RE: HotS

I've also been into it recently, if any of you bros want to play together add me on bnet: zenii#1523.

I play casually though, I've only bought heroes with the in-game currency (and only the cheapest ones), no skins yet. Not high enough level to do HL or TL yet either. So if you want to slum it up in quick match, hit me up.

Also apparently we've got a HotS thread here but it's about as dead as every other PC thread on CAG.

Going to share how you managed that or just going to leave us hanging?
It was before Riot pulled funding for online prizing tournaments.

https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/4dcvv7/riot_shutting_down_prizing_for_online_tournaments/

http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/miscellaneous/6c2OrJEA-upcoming-event-finder-tool-changes

The daily payout was 3200rp + Triumphant Ryze skin + free entry. (Which is limited to tournaments and cannot be gained anymore)

Saturdays being cash prizes depending on the tournament community you were on.

I got every major skin that was released for the past two years.

I ended up becoming staff for two communities at the time handling and organizing the tournaments for 8 months.

I didn't feel a need to mention anything about it since you literally "Why u no play in easy tournaments for free money and prizing for 5 years"

Edit: Most people only played the 10 placement matches and never played rank again to stay lower rank for easy wins.

So I'm thinking of getting a Gaming laptop and these were just announced with the new GTX 1000 series cards.  Not looking to go crazy but what do you guys think, I'm leaning towards the cheaper one just cause money but the other is tempting.  And before you ask the ones with 1080 are MSI and more expensive hence I am leaning towards ASUS ROG laptop.

$2,999

Anyone have experience with ASUS ROG?

The Razer Blade 14 looks very cool, if you've got money to blow. A GTX 1060 version is coming out, which replaces the GTX 960 equivalent 970m, but it seems like MSI and others have been quicker at getting their new laptops out.

I've only tinkered with League for the last year. I didn't know that was a thing. Looked like it was a good thing while it lasted.

Between those two, the cheaper one for sure. 32 GB RAM is already overkill, and 256 GB extra hard drive space for $500 is absolutely not worth it.

But really, even that one is very expensive. Do you travel a lot? Will you really be playing games on the go or do you just want a beast laptop?

I have an older Asus ROG and never had any problems. The build quality is nice. It's very thick and heavy but that's standard for gaming laptops.

I've used them now for 3 different generations. They are case by case basis. The first couple of years they needed to be disassembled to add better thermal paste to the gpu/cpu. My most recent one doesn't need that. The cooling is fantastic so I don't burn my fingers when I play a game. BUT it's elevated.

I also highly recommend using the second bay for a SSD. And upgrade the memory. 2 sticks on the bottom but there are 2 sticks that go inside as well (at least on the model I have). If you get the 32Gb.... you save yourself the disassembly. Might be worth it just for that unless you're savvy with laptop disassembly (or don't like youtube)

And you know someone has to ask since it was brought up before, do you really need to game like that on the go?

For 2500$ you could buy a kick ass gaming desktop and monitor and still have money left over for a fairly good laptop, but not a gaming one.
