I'll just add my 2 cents here, not sure about KF2 but KF1 didnt have controller support, or at least it didnt work for me when I tried it, so that makes COD Zombies better for me. If you hate kb/m like I do, its probably better to get COD.
That's good to know about KF. I'm not big on kb/m, either. Killing Floor 2 looks really fun, though. The store page says it has full controller support.

Thought I found some FPS Brohs but after reading this I will just leave this here.

Seeing MotoGP13 on sale on Steam for $2.99 made me decide to take one for the team and actually play it.

If you're looking for a good single player motorcycle racing game at a great price then this is it.

I played a season and a half of career mode so far, it's good fun ... there's a little bit of a difficulty curve in learning to handle the bikes but after a few races you'll start getting into the groove. I just got my first podium finish in the second race of the first season where you're actually signed to a team.

The graphics are a littled dated but pretty nice, the Circuit of the Americas in Austin in particular looked really good and true to life.

At this price, if you're interested in bike racing, you really can't go wrong.

Unfortunately, the multi-player side of the game is no longer supported so only consider the game as a single player only experience.

Does it have online MP?

Looking at it, sadly no. The multiplayer servers are apparently down on the 13 version now.

If you're looking for multi-player then you're probably best waiting for a good deal on the 14 or 15 versions.

I edited my mini-review above to reflect that as that's a very good point.

Question is when will 13 get removed from Steam?

There's also MotoGP 16 but that's named "Valentino Rossi The Game", because someone thought it was good idea, but still it's the same game.

Doesn't the 14 and 15 compact versions have multiplayer? They are much cheaper than the full version of the game, I cant remember what it is that they take out but I'm pretty sure it's not multiplayer.

Thanks for the info, was trying to figure out if it'd be good for a bro-night.

Any of these ever been bundled?

No, but they still get decent discounts. The compact version of MotoGP14 was like 75% off last week, and still gets discounted every few months. I bet the compact version of 15 gets 75% off for the winter sale.

It is only right that spoder got that Blops drop above considering how often he has helped others with free stuff (myself included). But God damn is it ever creepy how he is able to sense when something is being given away somewhere on the internet.
It's called "Spoder Sense," and it tingles when there is a freebie to be had. And that's why getting a freebie called "Spodering." Some things you just have to accept.

I told myself I'd buy a mystery bundle if this game wasnt included in the bundles I knew people were gonna buy and post. And here it is. They literally give away this game in every bundle, so I'm just gonna assume they are crap until they run out of keys for this.

ark is glorious at 35" I just got an acer 35" it only a 21:9 but its at least 144hz and has freesync
Yeah, 21:9 is the way to go. I've come to the conclusion the 34'' ones are out of my price range right now, so I'm going to shoot for a 29'' one. Saw the 29'' LG was $175 last BF so that is my big purchase this year. Going to start putting some of the money your mom gives me into savings for it.

Man, I'd just gotten my 27" monitor and I'm already a screen hobo.
I was considering a 27'' but then I realized it'd be too tall for my set up, but an ultrawide tends to be shorter. Technically I could squeeze a 34'' ultrawide if I found the right one, but I don't feel like spending $400 on it.

If you're looking for a cheaper ultrawide, something something mom joke.

I have no regrets about my monitor. Looks nice, performs well and it was only $120 on sale after Samsung's $50 vouchers from their TV glitch (base price was $219)

forgot to mention the acer is curved as well. Dropped 6 bills on it though. I will still suck at rocket league.

Yeah, this was just like a whim thing. My monitor is out getting RMA'd and given my current set up a 24'' is the max I can fit in the conventional aspect ratio. Was browsing Labor Day deals and saw an ultrawide and looked into it out of curiosity and then realized that given the aspect ratio I could fit a much bigger monitor. In my current set up a 27'' would be too big unless they make stands where it would essentially sit flat on the bezel.

Oh yeah, the curved ones are super nice. You actually get to see the effect of curved on monitors where you sit closer. It's just marketing junk when it comes to bigger TVs. If I spent $600 on a monitor though it'd be more than I usually spend on my PCs. I'll see if Acer Recertified has another fire sale and if they do I might get in on the action.

Last fire sale I got my wife a 27'' Touchscreen monitor for $180 when they retail for $500 new.

I spent less than $400 on my curved refurb 34" Dell Ultrawide. Couldn't justify the extra money for the 100hz gsync Acer Predator. Especially when I wasn't sure how much I would like the ultrawide. The acer refurb sales are nice. I got my mother a nice i5 SSD 1080p touchscreen laptop for $300ish and a 24" monitor for my aunt for $60. No taxes/shipping.

Did you get yours directly from Dell during one of their coupon sales? If I could get a 34'' curved for around $300 I think I'd be willing to make the leap. Dell refurbs are especially nice given the warranties.

Refurb Dell monitors are only 90 day warranty instead of the normal 3 years. And yea I got it when they were doing 40% off IIRC. I think it was $370 after tax.

Speaking of hardware, I finally got around to switching out the modem that Comcast had been sending me letters about for the past year and my speeds went from 30 Mbps to 90 Mbps. Go figure.

21:9 monitors - those of you have and/or want them, I see why these could be good for gaming, but what about day to day non-gaming use?  I kept a 4:3 monitor for the longest time because I always felt I preferred to have height to the display for non-gaming PC use.  My current monitor is 16:10 because it has that bit of height over 16:9.

So is the fact that the resolution on these provides enough vertical pixels that it's a non-issue for you folks?  Or am I just too old to get with the changes?

That's a good price, but disappointing about the warranty. Dell refurb laptops still carry a full year warranty I think.

One of the big appeals of large ultrawides (like a 34'') would be the ability to have split screens/multiple windows without more than one monitor and without the obvious disruptions of multiple monitors and their bezels. For certain work, it's actually a productivity booster. But again, this is a major benefit at 34''. When you get smaller, that's less of an appeal. So technically if you are working day to day with split screen the aspect ratio would be closer to what you'd be used to on each side. Hope that makes sense.

I dont own borderlands 2 or the pre sequel and the triple pack is showing as 4.37 in my cart. seems like a good use of gabenbucks
Would grab Borderlands TPS at sub $5 for sure. Lacking some BL1 DLC so it's $10 for me. Kind of silly how much the DLC raises the price of the bundle.

You dope!
You're not wrong, my friend. I didn't realize it would make a difference, much less three times the speed. I figured they just wanted to get their hotspot crap in my home. Which, ironically, I went to turn off the public hotspot stuff and the modem/router they gave me doesn't even have it.

Also, the router part of the modem is terrible and slow. So I wound up just plugging my old router into it and it started working immediately without setting a bridge. Technology, how does it even work? :whistle2:k

Thx 4 bundltrash

Also, yes, BL1 DLC raises the price up too much. I own everything in that bundle, except for Claptrap's Robot Revolution (yes I own BL TPS) but it's still $3.40. The BL1 DLC is decent enough and deserves a playthrough to set up BL TPS and BL2, but it's not worth $3+ on its own.

BL TPS DLC is pretty shitty in comparison to that of 1 and 2, by the way. Gearbox and 2K are trying to milk the stillborn calf that is that game's Season Pass baby dry when there's hardly any worthwhile content. It only has one campaign and two characters (plus an arena but those are boring). I'm waiting for sub-$5.
