I'm ok if they do remasters instead if BC if they give a huge discount for owning the originl version. I'd have no problem throwing 5-10 at a remaster. Screw that 60.00 stuff though. Hell I'm even griping at the resident evil games at 20.00. Thank god they went on sale.
 
Anyone know if the COD: Infinite Warfare pre-order bonuses are actually inside the game case?  Not sure if I should pre-order (BBY) or wait till Sunday for the B1G1 40% off.  I can't remember what happened with BLOPS3, but it seems like the pre-order stuff was in the case for Advanced Warfare (maybe just b/c it was Day Zero?).

 
Man, I ended up really wanting Skyrim so I just traded some retro stuff in. Apparently if you trade toward Pokemon Sun or Moon you get a bonus 40%. NES's (NESs?) give you $30 alone and I have 7, though I guess bonuses only work on games. I guess I know how I'll get FFXV on launch now.

I know all but one of my consoles work but they need some tweaking. They don't appear to test the consoles at all though, maybe because of the RF hook up? I could see that getting messed up pretty quick now that retro trades are national.

I dont think anyone has a preorder bonus outside the calling card from Gamestop. Every copy comes with Space Zombies and Terminal dlc

That has happened (Dishonored did that), not all of the remasters but some have done that deal. Capcom though, you're not gonna see that from them since that's their financial strategy to resell their games to their own customers.

I'm fine with the Capcom remasters though. They are all visually upgraded, come with all DLC, and are $20 MSRP.

Unlike Craptivision.

1st World Series was back in 1903. Not many professional sports had "Finals," with a singular champion. Hell, basketball and football had their finals nearly a half century later, let alone when the their respective sports were created decades later. Hence why baseball is called America's past time.

Why would they do that though? I didn't get a "huge discount" when I bought Enter the Wu-Tang on cd just because I previously had the cassette tape. They're not taking away your old version.

 
Just completed the Titanfall 2 campaign. I'll echo the sentiments of those that said it earlier - it is an incredible ride. I recommend playing it on Hard and also watching the credits all the way through.

Makes the rumored trade in discount of 50% or more of the Wii U's big three being remastered on Switch(Smash, Splatoon & MarioKart) an effing pipe dream. Nintendo is paying attention, and seeing Activision, Rockstar, Bethesda, etc sell remakes/remasters for full price while consumers gobble em up..../ end rant

Pokemon FireRed / LeafGreen, HeartGold / SoulSilver, Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire, Ocarina of Time 3D, Majora's Mask 3D, Star Fox 64 3D ... they're well aware. Though at least in those cases there was a hardware generation between the originals and the remakes, so a bit more effort went in to making them current for the time. Curious if that's partly why OR/AS weren't DS releases with Black / White, instead held off for a 3DS release, and if there won't be Diamond / Pearl remakes alongside Sun / Moon.

Loving it but right now I'm fucking ready to throw my controller at the TV.

Damn wall running section where you are using the time shifting and there are two walls of lasers in the future and a wall of debris between the two in the past. Every God damn time I get past that debris wall and shift back to the future I fall into the electrified floor

I guess I just suck at wall running...urgghhh

Those games are full remakes though, they're the same game but they definitely upgraded them (especially Pokemon). Bumping resolution to 1080p and a few shaders like Activision and others do is worse. People call them remastered, I'd rather call them porting.

Especially when the porting has more bugs than the original... F that. (looking at you MCC and Dishonored)

I don't expect Nintendo to half-ass a remake. But selling them at full price and people, myself included, gobbling them up? They're definitely not strangers to that.

Most of them are released on handheld consoles so they're not "full price" actually, and I'd rather spend the 60$ for a great remake than less for an half-assed one.

 
Heads up, the COD infinite warfare legacy edition with COD4 is all on one disc and is not a code (apparently on PS4 it is a code). So, if you were hoping like me to redeem the game to your account so that when they likely sell COD4 separately and untie the two games from each other you'd already have it, you're shit outta luck. You still have to download COD4 through the internet but it doesn't require a code, the disc activates it.

Do you need the disc to play on PS4? If so, that may convince me to keep it on that platform.
