If anything (I know sacrilege) games should be something you should be too worried about losing. With XBox Live I think pretty much EVERYTHING is now backed up to the cloud. Worst case you replace the drive and download your games and saves anyway.

Only two makes of drives anymore really (for spinning disks) WD and Seagate. They have bought up pretty much all the other brands.

Frequently when you open up an external harddrive it will have one brand on it but the drive inside will be another brand they own.

I think statistically WD seems to be the reliable of the two. I just shopped price/fit when I bought a 2TB External drive for my PS4. I pulled the drive out of the case and put it in my PS4. I am pretty sure it was a Seagate External drive. But when opened up it was a Hitachi drive I believe. Which is rated more reliable the Seagate by some studies.

This was almost a year ago and so far so good. For $80 I am not going to sweat it either way.

I have a sort of on-topic question.  

I played ME 1 and 2 but never got around to 3.  So I put the disc in my X1, installed it, downloaded all of the DLC I bought earlier this year, and uploaded all of my ME 1 and 2 saves to the cloud through my 360.

I can't access my saves or character on the X1 at all.  I read somewhere that ME3 doesn't accept cloud saves on the 360.  Is this still a thing?  I thought maybe if I used my 360 to import my character, create a save, an then put it back in the cloud, the X1 might pick it up.  Anyone else have this issue?  Any ideas?

The first DLC (Underground) has been available for months. The recently announced Survival is the second DLC. I noticed a slight jump in players since the major 1.4 update a couple of weeks ago. They increased loot drops and gave you more freedom in what you wanted to play to get gear that you want. A definite improvement from vanilla.

Start a new game of ME3 on your local drive, quit the game, then move the save to the cloud, and then go back into ME3 and see if it sees the save in the cloud. If THAT doesn't work, then you might be SOL.

That being said, I doubt this will be an issue because BC games played on the :360: ONLY have cloud saves as an option and it would be silly to make a game BC that cannot play from cloud saves.

Exactly. I'd be all for change in Washington, but not Trump's brand of change. And what scares me most is that he has a blank check with both chambers of Congress. I hope the Republicans keep him in check and don't buy into his decisive rhetoric of racism and xenophobia.

And for God's sake please spare us from any more Clinton hearings. Let it go.

However, this isn't going to happen. It's a fantasy, much like world peace. Trump isn't the person to help bring the country together, especially considering how he was the one who helped create the hostility. Even if he becomes more laid back as President, the people who supported him will probably become pissed off how he "succumbed to the PC bullshit" or whatever other excuse they can think of.

Not only will Trump have the majority of the House and Senate, he will also get to pick the vacant Supreme Court seat since they dragged their feet to select one. Of course, with Mike Pence in his ear, he will more than likely select an ultra conservative, Pro Bible, anti-gay judge, which will then undo a lot of progress. Then what? More unrest, more protest, etc.

Why would you buy a retail external drive if you're just going to violate the warranty? Retail internal drives have to be cheaper than that, not to mention OEM options.

Back in January when I bought my external drive there was no 2TB internal drives that would fit a PS4 for under 130 IRC. But yeah good chance there is no warranty on my drive. I knew that when I did it.

Why would you buy a retail external drive if you're just going to violate the warranty? Retail internal drives have to be cheaper than that, not to mention OEM options.

No they aren't. External USB drives are consistently cheaper than the internal equivalent. It's weird and bizarre, but that's why I shucked an external 2TB for my PS4. And yes, it does void the warranty.

What difficulty are you playing it on? The harder the difficulty, the more you'll probably want a human partner. Except for maybe the vehicle part.

That being said, I doubt this will be an issue because BC games played on the :360: ONLY have cloud saves as an option and it would be silly to make a game BC that cannot play from cloud saves.

Started that a while ago. Just put it in my 360, started the game until I was in control. Saved. Now I'm going to put it back in the cloud and see if the X1 sees it. Maybe it's just the character data it won't pull from the cloud.

I'll let everyone know.

EDIT: Yup. That worked. Looks like you can't import your character from ME2 to ME3 on an X1 from the cloud to start fresh, but if you import to ME3 on a 360 and get to where you can save, the X1 picks up the save no problem.

Also, I think it may look significantly better since I just saw them back to back.

Weird. I loaded ME3 and was able to import all of my ME2 saves, however, no such luck when trying to import my ME1 saves to ME2 (I got a "No Character Data Found" error message in the import tool). I recently beat ME1 on XB1 and wanted to carry over that career but couldn't. I may have to borrow a 360 and try that trick and hope it works.

I once drank two bottles of code red and ate half a cheesecake in the space of about a half hour. Went out to play golf and puked all over the inside of the golf cart. It sloshed around everything in the cart before I could clean it off, including my friend. Looked like I delivered my internal organs from my mouth.

I still drink one every now and again as a treat and I enjoy the hell out of it, even though I think of throwing up every time.

Nope. Livewire is the best by far. It used to be a summer flavor, but now is a regional production. Luckily I moved to an area close to a bottling plant that produces it. Sweet nectar of the gods.

Im thinking about moving to the PS Deals forum, maybe they can keep on topic there. If not, then it is still more likely to hear about XBL deals over there than here at this rate.
