The new thread format will be a work in progress but this first post will be the promos that are active and useful information, but also wikified. The second post will currently be frequently asked questions but may move it into the first post. Post three will be historical trade-in values from before the list.

I could see them raising the prices a day or 2 after it was announced but literally an hour after. Smells of greed and desperation to me.

 
i have an xbox one 500gb and a regular ps4 500gb how do i maximize the trade in credit?

i already own an S a 4SLiM and a 4PRO so i cannot purchase anymore consoles.

I wanted to get 200$ for each but I know thats a longshot with the XBOX posted the PS4 on CLIST and have had tons of offers

 
It seems after testing my inventory queries on consoles Gamestop is sitting on about 44,272 original 1TB / 500GB Xbox Ones and 18,272 Xbox One S of varying versions. For a grand total of about 62,544  :whee: Xbox Ones in store and I'm sure there are many more in their warehouses.

Edit: Just saw the post above, good luck getting $200 ever again from Gamestop for those.

i already have an offer for 170$ for the xbox one and i originally only paid 250$ so ill take a 80$ loss over the course of 2 years 40$ a yr

Yup. That's why I went in store and did it ASAP because I showed them the email that had been sent 3 days ago with all of my stuff. They tried contacting customer service but the wait time was estimated at 30 minutes. They were understaffed and a huge plethora of people came in. If I went any other time I'd been denied.

 
So just to double check the Trade 2 for $50 does not require a game purchase?  Also has anyone done more than just 2 games in the same transaction and everything work out? Looking at doing 4 games.

 
Does gamestop have the best deal for the PS4 slim? UC4 bundle + $25 visa gift card for $249. Looking to pick one up before the $249 deal runs out.

Not sure if this fits in here but they are running a promotion of a $10 GS GC when you buy a $60 Netflix card. Easy way to get something back if you missed out on other Netflix card deals. I suspect you can use the $10 card to buy another $60card and get another $10 back.
 
Off topic, but how do you get reward points without going back to the store? I was at a few different Gamestops buying stuff that wasn't available anywhere. Their system was down and they couldn't take my phone number to access my account. The store said I could come back and they would add the points but I don't usually go to those locations. Is there an online form to fill out? I hate calling because it's a 30-40 minute wait each time.

I'm not too surprised just ran it again and PS4 Slims estimates come to an avg. of 5957 nationwide with a range of 3971 - 7943, I'm assuming true numbers are around the lower end of the spectrum for it.

Totally not surprised about the PS4 Pro though my query only estimates and avg. of 868 nationwide with a range of 578 - 1157.

All versions of the original PS4 came to a total of 37,968 which divided among 4434 stores would be about 8.5 per store. Would you say 8 or 9 original PS4s per store is a good ball park estimate?

Ill look tomorrow but seems a bit high. For the longest time my district had a hard time getting any PS4s used because they just werent getting traded in.

Depends on the area really mine was stocked when I decided to use the B2G1 on my consoles. I'm honestly thinking about trading in my Darth Vader Ps4 and OG PS4 for $125. I would get a Pro but I heard that thing has problems on certain titles.

I have a question about GTA5, if i trade in my old one would they let me buy new one with the 3.5mil card right away or are they usually against that?

If they have any problems just explain that you are willing to trade/rebuy it for the points card. I personally do not find anything unethical about that.

If they give you any shit just trade it at 1 gamestop and go to another to buy the new copy.
