Speaking of assclowns, I bought a game last night at GameStop and the total sounded higher to me than it should've been. I looked at the item screen and the cashier automatically applied a $2 warranty. I told him I didn't want it, he told me how great it was, I told him no thanks, and then he removed it and told me that he adds it to every preowned purchase that he is in charge of.

Sounds like a lot of swindled money to me...
It sucks and shouldn't happen but they are under a lot of pressure to meet certain quotas (that warranty is one of them). It doesn't excuse them doing it but it isn't surprising since GS treats their employees like shit.

Anyone know how to search if a GS nearby has a NEW Vita Slim Black? I keep getting weird redirects to the login page when I try to manipulate a URL.

I got mine weeks ago, expires on 1/17/17
That is likely your first one for renewing. It may not be a bad idea to use it up before 1/16 so you don't risk getting hosed out of a coupon (and you can take advantage of 50% coupon if you decide to trade back any).

If you do end up having both coupons on your account/app at the same time, don't trust the GS employee to use the correct one cause if they use the one with the later expiration you will be SOL.

BTW I noticed CEX has a ton of cheap Xbox (original) and gamecube games for anyone patient enough to look for flips. They take forever to ship though so you'd have to pray and plan. I don't know how they are about cases. I have only bought lego dimensions (all sealed) and electronics from them. They're good about returns so far for me.

They take trades so, in theory, GS credit could be moved to avoid out of pocket costs. For current gen stuff they are mostly overpriced to say the least.

Quite a few Pokémon platinum, diamond, and pearl on there too.

Can anyone confirm any of these?

1. Does the +10% for PRU stacks on top of the +50% coupon (given during pro day renewal)? I know it usually does but wanted to verify before I use the coupon.

2. Current trade value for a Dualshock 4 (app shows 24.5 base but if its higher I'll dump it)

Worth it for aesthetics alone IMO yeah
I have the black 500gb model. With the promo they'd give me $125 for it, so with the Xbox One S bundles being $279.99, I'd be paying $154 plus tax. I own Battlefield 1 digitally already, so if I get the bundle that comes with the physical copy, they are offering $27.50 cash as of today for a trade in. After all the math I'd be paying about $140 to upgrade. Would you consider it to be worth it? I do own a 4k TV, although admittedly not the top of the line, but definitely good picture quality.

today when I was buying a x1 and a PS4 copy of GTA, I tried to redeem a $25 and a $15 off PUR coupon. Instead of applying one coupon to each game(60-25-15=20), the system applied both to one game which made it free but I had to pay more. So I had to do 2 separate transactions.

Is that normal? I thought the system would be smart enough to apply them to diff games. and FYI the shark cash codes were printed.

That is normal. It will take from the highest priced game, and continue taking from it.

yep, I ran into this with the cyber Monday coupons. The guys were nice enough to do separate transactions which allowed me to use more coupons than the 3 limit per person.

I bought GTA V from GS today and noticed a stack of the $5 bonus TIV cards sitting right next to the register.  I asked them (acting as though I hadn't seen them) if they still have any of those left.  Both of the guys behind the counter started stammering and acting dumb like they didn't know WTF I was talking about.  Is there some way to trigger them to give you one or is it just a Random Act of Kindness?

seems random but you may have to trade something in order to get one. I just got one yesterday for the first time when I traded in a xbone power adapter and purchased two funkos.

My experience is it's a random act of kindness if they feel so generous.
The nearest location never gave me one despite being in several times buying trading and pre ordering and I saw them by the register like you. Pre ordered and picked up a couple games there recently , no love.
I do try this as a trigger - how much cash ?
Worked a couple times.

I only got offered the card once right before black friday. I have seen stacks behind the register at every store since then but never have given any more. I'm tempted to swing by late at night and check to see if they throw them away.

Why late at night? You aren't doing anything illegal.

for the retro trade in, do you need the booklet/manual for games to get full credit? or is disc by itself is ok?

cause i have a ton of ps1 games without case and booklet.

sorry for double post. i want to know if the pro day 50% bonus coupon. is it one time use?? i didnt renew on pro day but i am just curious.

Dead Rising 4 went from $17 to $20.

:xb1: Dirt Rally went from $8 to $12

:ps4: Homefront Revolution went from $3 to $5

IW went up a couple of dollars and Captain Toad TT went up a dollar. Update your saved trades and you guys might find more! :)
Loading Human :ps4: $13 base
Smells like a stealth bump.... I'm running the query now so I will know more in an hour.

Did they have it tagged as the LED watch? I know those show as 4.99.
I actually looked at the receipt and you are 100% correct they mislabeled it as the LED. Sorry guys false alarm, they did have one more tagged at $4.99 in there, I might be tempted to pick it up now.
