So I opened a copy of this I have had sealed on my shelf for a few years and the code is not valid. No expiration date on the pass. Anyone had this happen? Any chance Sony might replace the code?
Just an fyi incase anyone runs into this. I contacted Sony through chat and then had to send a copy of my receipt (almost three years old) and a picture of the front and back of the code and I was sent a new code. Not sure if this is typical SOP, but it worked for me so it might be worth a follow up if you have a receipt for purchase and an "expired" code. My bet is they replaced it because there was no expiration on the sheet and would not have done it if there was one, but I suppose this is YMMV. I have only played the first two levels, but the game is fun enough. Think I will try for the platinum now that I have the online half of the game.

YESSS! Neptunia reigns supreme! Better than even the likes of Persona! And they didn't even need my help to do it!

It's one thing to give a list of points how good a game is or a higher review score, but the true victor is the one who actually has people voting for it. Neppy is the people's champ!

You say "people's champ" and include a wrestling gif, but it's *not* one of The Rock?!? What madness is this?!?

Yep, that's typical GameStop. This is why I hate to pre-order any L.E. version of a game from them to pick up locally, because everytime I did they'd open it even though I'd pre-paid for it! GameStop would rather have more space for Jar-Jar Binks bath towels and C-3PO coasters than space for Vita games and accessories. Thankfully all of my area GameSlop stores still have at least the wire-frame end cap section you described, and one even has a whole side on one of those free-standing shelving units dedicated to the Vita.

With the financial issues GameStop is destined for over the ThinkGeek.com buyout flop they'd do well to reverse the present course, cut their losses, and return to just selling systems, games, and accessories... not that I actually care to ever see GameStop succeed. In reality this is just GameStop reaping its' just rewards (karma as it were) for two decades of hostile takeovers, employee mistreatment, and merchandise abuse.
It's crazy how cluttered Gamestop stores are now because of all that shit. They used to have an open and organized floor plan, now there's racks of stupid T-shirts, stuffed animals, and novelty crap everywhere. I don't know anything about the statistics of how well that stuff sells, but I can't honestly say I have ever seen anyone buying that stuff, ever. All I see is people pushing through and around that crap to get to the games lined up along the walls. That glass statue case that every store seems to have is a joke as well, no one seems to be buying or is even interested in a $250 statue of Link or Marcus Fenix and they languish in that glass prison until they move them somewhere else.

I have a lot of gamestops in driving distance of me and they all still have a 2 or 4 racks space for vita games. sure it's in the corner facing the wall but hey better for me they stay hidden.

also ya its super cluttered now with pops, tshirts, and junk.

I agree, all that stuff is mostly crap trinkets, but I think this is GS trying to do more for their future, as I'm sure they are sweating hard in regards to games moving more towards digital.

I'm all for companies looking ahead, and not getting caught with their pants down in relation to industry changes, but the Thinkgeek avenue isn't the place for that. I've seen a few decent items, but GS charges top dollars for all that stuff, and Thinkgeek has sales almost weekly for the same stuff.

The GS closest to me, is one of the best money earners in town, and there section for this stuff is HUGE! And as it's been stated, I never see anyone buying anything. It's really just taking up space, and always looks like a tornado has run through it.

All of the locations I've been to recently all still have their Vita areas, as some are big and some are small, but they still have them. And since GS is mostly used games, I can't see them removing the area entirely anytime soon, but GS is like "N" to me, as I can't understand what they are doing most of the time, so anything is possible I guess?

Yeah I just went to my local GS for the first time in forever yesterday and there was literally 3-4 new games and like 2 half-shelves of used games. I don't even know where I'd go to buy games any more after being out video games for so long, it's like online or nothing. Or games like CoD at Target I guess.

Thinking of picking WoFF for $20 even though the demo didn't exactly thrill me.

Yeah, over the last few years, I've gotten several used Vita/3DS games from GS, as the prices can be pretty good when they have sales or special offers. Plus, at the store, I can see if a game is complete or not. I never order used online.

I ordered the WoFF today, as $20 and under is a pretty good price for a new Vita title, and I'll also buy LE sets that are getting rare, but new games in general never happen.

got it off dell or somewhere for like 28 after coupon played it around an hour and never went back.... maybe it gets better later but found it boring and awful

The ones around me started removing the glass statue prisons. They don't even bother carrying statues anymore. Sadly, there are still racks of all the other novelty crap cluttering up the store.

I have no objection to ThinkGeek. But I do take issue with GameStop's selection of ThinkGeek merchandise in-store. I'd rather they focus more prominently on game-related merchandise, instead of the grab-bag of nerd ephemera. I like Star Wars as much as the next guy, but I don't go to a store called "Game"-Stop to shop for Star Wars. Also, ThinkGeek has been an on-line store front for years, and for most of their better specialty items, I always just go to the on-line store. They don't carry the really good stuff in GameStops anyway.

I foresee a future where all GameStops basically mutate into purely geek-focused Spencer Gifts. That's the direction they're going in, and if it continues they'll lose my already flagging patronage for their physical locations. I still wouldn't mind doing a little on-line ThinkGeek shopping now and then, but I don't need to go into a store for that stuff.

Pile on the ThinkGeek merchandise at GameStop all you want, I'm with you it takes up valuable retail space for video games.  However, the ThinkGeek physical stores are pretty cool, I usually want to buy the whole store.

What are people smokin?  There's actually reason to visit a Gamestop now.  GS actually has a few interesting things to look at now with some of their Thinkgeek merch.  My main gripe is that their t-shirt material is very low quality and I wish they were better made.  That and the stores are far too cluttered.   I love some of the backpacks they have sold.

So with Gal Gun (Mr. Happiness edition) I now own all 188 Vita titles (well what's on the checklist anyways). Although I have to wait until Skullgirls ship to have Volume.

Although I have the game, I do not have the Collector's Edition of Steins;Gate. Everything else I have, but Squarehard still has more titles with imports. >

Now I just got to keep up new releases and LRG releases.

Congrats! It's getting harder and harder to find some of the old releases in complete condition at a reasonable price, so it's good that you're caught up.

I'm sitting somewhere around 100 games. Not sure I have the desire to push for a complete collection. Instead, I might start selling off some of the more valuable games to put the money toward other stuff (maybe a Switch depending on how the direct goes tomorrow).

How comparable is WoFF on the Vita to the PS4? Same game pretty much or are there performance issues?
I've been playing the digital version of WoFF on my original vita for about 40 hours before getting to the true end. It was absolutely gorgeous and cute and brought me so much fun! I played the PS4 demo, I'd say the difference is clear but does not affect the fun at all. The reason I chose the vita version is because this is basically a Pokemon game in a FF shell, so it only makes sense on the GO!

Wait now you might be selling me. It plays similar to pokemon you say?

If I didn't get Rebirth 1 Collector's Edition when I did I might not have tried so much, some of the earlier titles were the ones I was missing when I got close. F1 took forever to get without paying a lot for it.

Yea, just started playing a few days ago and first thing I though was Final Fantasy's version of Pokemon.

Congratulations! I'm still nine titles shy of having the 188 titles released to date. And two of the ones I have are cart-only, bleh.

Mind that I have yet to play the game myself, so this is heresay I'm passing on from people I know who have played it. SquEnix did something rather mind blowing with the Vita version. There is, of course, the data capacity limit of 4GB (less formatted) for Vita game carts. WoFF Only occupies (according to others) about 2.7GB on the game cart, but has neither the original JP voice acting, nor the English voice acting on the game cart. Both sets of voice acting are offered as DLC, and the irony with that is that either voice acting patch is well under 1GB, which means SquEnix could have included one of the voice acting files sets on the game cartridge! Vita version is also, oddly, limited to Ad Hoc (local) multi-player only, made more odd by the fact you can Ad Hoc play with someone playing the PS4 version. But the PS4 version allows for both Ad Hoc and Infrastructure (online) multi-player. Those are the two gripes of all the people I know who have played the Vita version, otherwise they all seemed to really enjoy the game.

yep, here is the IGN review: http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/10/25/world-of-final-fantasy-review

I was sticking to Japanese audio the whole time since I can understand parts of Japanese, and this adorable game makes me laugh so much during their little cute conversations. WoFF is easily my best PSV game of all time! Though IGN's review video will give you some insight, how IGN gave the game merely a 7 is beyond me.

I watched a "Let's Play" of WoFF for a little over an hour and it looked *exactly* like the Pokémon RPGs only with FF style. So much so, I no longer wanted to get WoFF as I still have a Pokémon RPG in the old backlog. But if you're into that type of game and the FF style holds special appeal for you (not so much me), then I think you'd enjoy WoFF. It looks well done.

Agree. And the shirts can be worth it when clearance priced. I remember getting B2G1 and they were $5 or less already. Some even are only $2. They make decent shirts for lounging around the house.

I said this once, but I really do agree with the charm of WoFF, especially with the Japanese audio. Absolute fantastic game that runs great on the Vita (both in terms of graphics and load times), in terms of "Great vita games that utilize the handheld's hardware", I would put it alongside UC: GA and KZ: M.

The true end is not difficult at all, for those who are normally put off by Japanese game difficulties. I imagine the plat is grindy, but I would have no idea.

Speaking of true endings, I started MeiQ, to those who played the game already: there isn't some true ending requirement that I should be aware of right? I tried a search and found no "spoiler-free ending guide", and didn't want to read too much to avoid spoilers.

Tempted on WoFF but don't want to use 1GB of precious/expensive memory for patch + VO :\
Yeah, I actually have that same problem. So for now, I'll have to skip on that patch, as I don't have the space, but if LRG keeps up the physical releases, I should have some more space soon.

Since I haven't paid attention is WoFF playable on vita's that have henkaku installed on it. Or is there a system patch bypass for games? After looking into it for $20 I feel like it'll probably be worth it and I may actually play it but if I can't play it on my Vita it might not make sense

works fine on henkaku

I just bought a Vita off of Reddit. I have WoFF on PS4 that I'm planning on playing after I finish up FF XV. Is there any point of getting the Vita version? Can I play some on the PS4 and then pick up the same save file on the Vita?

it does support cross save

If you like the PS4 version...I know I bought Dragon's Crown on Vita since I liked the PS3 version...and then stopped playing cause that little screen doesn't do that well (or the sticks) with a beat em up....at least that one.

I think a turn based game will play well on the Vita. I'll pick it up since it supports cross save. I would prefer playing on my PS4 but my wife also likes watching TV (we have one). Being able to sit next to her and play while she watches TV would be a nice plus. $20 for that is a good deal IMO.

Bumping my old question, in hopes to find someone who played the game.

Interesting! I thought Dragon's Crown was way stronger on Vita, mainly because of touch controls for cooking, looting, interacting with the runes and other tasks. Also it looks brilliant on the OLED and really worked well as a portable title to me, but I have the PS3 version for couch co-op and nobody to play it with. It's also cool having Muramasa, Odin Sphere and Dragon's Crown on the same platform. Here's hoping for a PS4 version of Dragon's Crown or a sequel.

I bought it today and fwiw the patch is 502mb. The VO is a separate download. I prefer Japanese language in my games whenever possible, but after listening to a comparison on YouTube, it didn't seem worth the extra gig.

Have any of you played Senran Kagura Estival Versus?  I noticed that one of my gamestops still has a copy of the collector's edition.  I'm trying to decide if I want it on the vita or the ps4.  How do you guys usually decide between the two systems?  The collector in me wants the vita version since it might be more collectable.  I was also looking at WoFF.  $20 for the vita is very tempting or do I want the ps4 version.

From what I hear, the Vita version is, of course, the weaker port, meaning it runs at a slower framerate and has less enemies on the screen.
