Just got off with Xbox customer support because I know I got Battlefield Bad Company 2 when it was GwG. I'm pretty religious about at least locking in a license for every game and got Darksiders II that month but they supposedly cannot find record of it.

Gave me $10 in currency anyway. Think I might get Rise & Shine and wait until BFBC 2 goes on sale (hopefully). I'd love to play it again but have enough multiplayer shooters in my rotation to not want to pay $20 for it (even if it is just $10).

Luckily of all the games removed that one is at least getting a re-release on current gen! I snatched it up right away on PS4 where I play my fighters.

Is there an official page where we could request what games we want for BC?  Or you just have to give them a Tweet or Poke or whatever on their social media?

I would love MvC2, X-men Arcade, Simpson Arcade, any or all Street Fighter games and that WWE All-Star game.  That's not too much to ask for right.  Patience is a virtue.

Finally got a frame for that sweet poster I won at the Resident Evil truck a couple months back. Not getting a glare blocking the whole thing out in a picture is bitch though.

Grabbed the ezio trilogy while it was on sale at best buy, because I had a 20 cert expiring soon, and man is the game ugly. I am not someone that cares too much about graphics, just amazed at how far we've come.

Just angrily purchased shovel knight. Have zero interest in the game, but the overwhelmingly positive user reviews on the net swayed me more easily than I want to admit. I'm so weak.
 
Can any Xbox one rocket league players give me a hand transfering some items? I'll give you a free rare item(robo visor or dominus royalty) and a cc3 crate for your troubles. My brother visited and I didn't realize that you couldn't split screen trade to give my account all the stuff he earned while we were playing together.

I bought both those tropico games, never played the series and figured its worth the risk at that price. Just have to wait till its BC now. If it never goes to BC then oh well MS just got a few dollars from me lol.

Well, foot in my mouth, but I'll grab Quantum Break if it's still there when I hit expert again in a week or so. Pretty great prices even if you are the lowest level.

No real loopholes to get in on Expertzone if anyone is wondering, it requires a paystub or bank statement as proof that you work somewhere that qualifies. Though if you have a friend or family member that doesn't care you could have them sign up and use their account. A bunch of my coworkers sign up just to get the free Gold for their kid or whatever. I think the current code is out of stock at this point though.

I watched some gameplay footage on YT and yeah, I decided against spending more than $10 for it. I'll wait til spring time. It'll be super cheap digitally in no time at all.

I can't believe this is such a common complaint. It's like people never played a popular online game before. During launch, hundreds of thousands of people tried to login when the game was only designed to host thousands of players per server. Even if you bought the membership, it didn't help at all during those first few days. If you tried it now, you'd log in instantly. You might as well try it since there is a free character boost to lvl 30 and all the story packs are free until the end of the month.

 
Picked up an $8 Bad Company 2 today from GS. If I already have the achievements from the 360 days I can't unlock them again on X1, I rarely play bc games

I did the same thing, although I went with the PS4 version because I had some PSN money I had nothing else to spend it on. It's pretty incredible though and I don't regret it.

I just have to say the dark zone in The Division is a heaping pile of garbage. I would love to explore it but it only takes a few a-holes to ruin.  You have these people running around at max level for the zone with what must be higher level gear.  They can take on 3 or 4 agents and kill each of us. Just a badly constructed idea.

 
The Switch presentation was pretty strong in my opinion. Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda both looked fantastic. Splatoon 2 announced, some cool third-party Japanese games. Some kind of new No More Heroes game, maybe a spin-off. Mario has a world to explore like Sunshine and 64. Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

March 3rd, $300. Zelda at launch. Paid online starting in the fall, that apparently gives you a 1 month NES or SNES rental. Region free.

It's not terrible, and it doesn't even sound like the guy I was responding to has played the game since trying to log in during those initial days. A lot of games suffer from long login queues when first released, like every World of Warcraft expansion, and I think even Diablo 3 had that problem during launch.

Zelda did look good though but I'll grab that for my Wii U. Mario is still so far out.

Not to mention a monthly rental service vs licenses which are good for the duration of subscriptions. I guess for the months that you can play Wrecking Crew, that crew will get wrecked really hard.
 
Yeah, they mentioned a while back that they've brought in a company to help with the online. I assume the free period for the first 6 months or so is to prove that it's no longer trash.

As for the comparison to Scorpio, different strokes. I think I'm going to get it too, but I still need to see what it actually does. And for me, Nintendo just announced at least as many exclusives for the year as Xbox currently has. We've got four big titles for 2017 currently announced I think? The drought of exclusives on Xbox compared to the 30+ on PS4 for 2017 has me a bit weary on Xbox even though they've been doing so many good things overall lately.

They also showed off a 6 year old RPG, which I assume is meant to attract Western gamers/non-JRPG players.

The Mario game looks cool but I hope it doesn't turn out like Sonic 06 did :pray:

As for their online thing, I really hope Nintendo messed up on the wording and it's not a simple game that you can play for a month and then have it disappear (a la Steam weekends).

Unless Nintendo strikes Wii gold with the masses again (which I doubt after the $300 price point) I think both Sony and MS can be pretty damn happy with that Nintendo press conference.

And the launch lineup makes the X1 launch line up look amazing. It's awful.

Not to mention they are going to charge for online.

After that let down a presentation I had to SWITCH back to my xbox one and look at my 250 installed games to remember what a system with games on it looks like.

All kidding aside, I'll probably pick one of these up closer to the Mario launch. Although that depends on how good Yooka-Laylee is. I might not need Mario in my life anymore. I love Nintendo though so I really hope a lot of people buy this system even though it has no games like the Wii U.

More than half of which were HD remasters and backward compatible games...

And I'll buy a Switch when there's a bundle deal. I Got a WiiU last year for $150 new with Mario Kart 8 and enjoy the hell out of the system. The library is limited, but with my backlog, that's totally fine and Nintendo games bring a charm and gameplay that Sony and Microsoft just can't replicate.

 
I see zero reason to get a Switch on launch when we know that the holidays being deals on consoles now. Mario and a sale sounds good.

Well do I have a deal for you! Now you can buy a Switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! After April when it comes out.

Yeah probably about 75 of my 250 are BC games, but guess how much I paid for them the 2nd time? I'll give you a hint... its $0. Guess how much the Switch will charge me for Super Mario World for the 4th time? Probably $10... haha.

I love Nintendo and I have 3 kids so I will get one of these at some point but man I wish they could change there business model somehow. That Zelda game and Mario game look great but they give me no reason to have the Switch exist because I just want to sit on my couch and play them with a regular controller. I don't know if you listen to the CAGcast but I want the Switch with no tablet they have talked about on there before. The $100 version that is just a cube that plugs in HDMI and I can buy some separate controllers.

Owning an Xbox One and a Nintendo console gives me that perfect blend of Western games and weird Japanese games, so I think I will continue that trend.

An updated version of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix was announced outside of the conference. I think this has a good chance of being fully multiplatform at least. At least it'd be some Street Fighter for us since V is still exclusive. It's not a barebones port like a bunch of Capcom's recent stuff either.

Two new (to SF2) characters, a co-op mode, and the option to switch between the divisive Udon comic-book art or retro pixel art. I've never really liked SF2's sprites but it's nice to have the option.

No real footage yet, there is a stream tomorrow.

But... For better or worse Nintendo gotta Nintendo. Meaning there's a way that's proven and makes sense financially and logistically, but they gotta just turn into the water and hope there's a shortcut there. I mean it worked with the DS and Wii, but for many other things it's just questionable to say the least. But they have the franchise's and gameplay that every company wishes they could achieve, so that fanbase can maintain them to really do things like this.

Whatever the case, I'm totally fine buying Zelda again when I get a Switch, but as someone still going through the backlog of WiiU games I can wait despite how goddamn gorgeous Mario Odyssey looks.
