This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

So here's the thing. Agentghost quoted first but he is trade restricted and I can't send it to him. you are the first to quote after him. Do I wait to give to him when I'm able to contact him again or give it to you. I will let the fellow cag users decide.

Blade already owns it and people who beg for scraps to resell or feed alts disgust me. Agentghost may or may not own it, but giving it to him will lead to his asking about a future bronight which he won't attend, but some other jerk will schedule that crap again forcing me to redownload and play that pile of trash.

I'm not sure who is the lesser of two evils in this election. :oldman:

I voted for Agentghost since you said Blade owns it. At least LostNumber had the decency to tell us which relative he was getting keys for.

 
My bad, I didn't see his post. I was going to give the key to my friend so she can stream it on her new Twitch channel. You should give it to him since he asked first.

Edit: Someone went all Buffalo Bill on her and freaked her out. Thanks, guys, you're always so classy...

FYI if anyone wants the stuff from the third tier of the Namco Humble (the Tales game and the Project Cars GOTY), I'll get it for you at cost. Unfortunately, each one costs $4.74 since I got a cheap BTA. I have no interest in those games, and I would rather give more money to charity.

Edit: Tales claimed, Project Cars GOTY upgrade still available.

I hope this doesn't get me flagged since I'm offering to help people out. >_<

I really only have played those old Darius games. From the SNES era. I loved shmups back then... R-type, thunderforce, axelay, Darius, twin bee, hellfire...

I'm playing skyforce and it gives me the same old school vibe. I'm liking it. I also love Jamestown. The problem with it is the OST, is so amazing I can't concentrate on the game long enough xD

have you seen Satazius? really solid gradius III/axelay influenced shooter that drops to $3 every now and then.

If even Rockstar can't make a game about Russian Gangsters interesting, no-one should ever be fine with a Russian Mafia game (unless they are just really really into fixing lower league football games and black market Levi's)

Re: Sniper Elite 4, its legitimately one of my favorite series' right now and I regret nothing. I never pay full price (and neither did Fox or Syntax) so FakeCAG whatever.

Anyway, SE4 has been impressive from the start. They've really done the "sequel" right by consistently improving the games with each successive sequel. I played through the first level last night and it took two hours to complete all the objectives and I wasn't farting around looking for stuff while doing so. The maps are apparently all this massive and if the first is any indication, wow.  Technically it ran like a peach and looks gorgeous. The biggest improvement is in the way of AI and the sniper's movement. There's a big emphasis on verticality, so you can climb around looking for your own sniper nests and essentially make your own. The run around and regain your stealth aspect is there as in 3, but now the AI does something called "Triangulation", so you can snipe some nazis and it takes them time to figure out where you are, which gives you a lot of power. They've also introduced scope and shot adjusting, which is different and more immersive. Really enjoying it. Hopefully the entire game is equally impressive as the first level.

 
In other fakeynews: BF1 Winter Update hits todayish.

Class level cap increased from 10 to 50, ribbons to go along with medals, paid server junk, balancing, etc.  First DLC with 4 new maps is out next month,

I've been playing a ton recently, this is the first Battlefield game I have enjoyed since the original (and the Desert Combat mod).  If you've got the trench foot, send me a friend request on Origin ( ID = indefjeated ).

I KS'd Bards Tale IV but this was a non-factor in that decision so "meh". Plus they were careful to not guarantee the remaster.

Making a deal to get paid on completion and then blaming InXile for not sending you money to complete it puts you squarely on the wrong side of the argument.
