I'd save $50, only 50 because I still plan on buying a pouch. :p If it goes to the $400 range or higher once it's out, this puppy is sold. I really only preordered it for the pouch, and I can use a different pouch. Shit, if it goes for $400 I can get a custom pouch made!

I did do the 1 thing that your not supposed to do. I added a giftcard. I have no one to blame but myself since I've known for years when you redue payment it bumps you to the back of the list. I want to call so bad but it'll be on deaf ears.


This literally just happened. The cancellation.

Don't know if you were referring to me, but no, I have never said I was selling mine. Didn't have a switch preordered yet either...

Hoping I don't get fucked on the Switch then, I already added like $180 worth of GC's to that order, but it still has me on release day delivery and I don't plan on adding more

Done it in the past on rare items and at worse it just pushed the delivery back if it was too close to the release day

So did anyone literally get the cancelled email sent to them within the last 30 minutes? Or are people just reporting cancellations from 2 hours ago but just noticed the email. Trying to gauge if the cancellations are still going on or over with.

According to Gaf and the few people here it seems like it was all at the same timeframe. Haven't seen anyone reporting a cancel lately outside of just noticing the email

 
Not sellimg so not worried about that. I did get a special edition from amazon.uk so hopefully that ships and i still get the sword. As for the selling. Anyone who sold theres and changed the address probably got screwed too so theres that.
 
I saw some of your posts and was worried about the status of my Master Edition, but it looks like it's at least currently still good to go. I fully expect to wake up in the morning and find out that it was cancelled in the meantime, though. I suppose I should be happy that I was having second thoughts on it, but I'll be really let down if I can't get that Sheikah slate case, because hell if I'm going to pay eBay prices.

Its all fun and games until you forget one of the retailers you ordered it at and end up with 2 copies at your doorstep

 
For those who had their MEs canceled but really want the Master Sword statue. Another option is to set an page monitor alert on Amazon UK for the PAL LE (which comes with the Master Sword statue as well). I set the alert as soon as my ME was canceled from Amazon at 735pm CST. And Amazon UK alerted me 3 separate times already in the past 3 hours of the PAL LE version coming back in stock. I was able to nab one as a backup now that my Bestbuy ME is the last remaining open preorder.
 
I got my order in at 3:25am easternfor the master edition. My amazon.uk order is still safe for now. If you ordered a special edition from bestbuy, that would be the next to be worried about. It lasted over a day. If amazon is cancelling special editions, no way bestbuy will be able to fullfil all their orders.
 
Maybe Amazon just thought they were getting less than they actually expected? Weren't they the first to put it up? BBY and GS might have gotten better numbers. 

I still find it funny... this thing is crazy popular and Nintendo is sitting on their hands. I get if they can't provide additional stock ASAP but they could easy just tell fans "please be patient, we will have more in a few months" like they did with the NES Classic Edition so that people at least have the option to wait or pay ridiculous amounts. 

Whoever does this company's supply/demand analytics is completely idiotic.

Not like it would be the first time Amazon lost a few pallets but it also wouldn't be the first time Nintendo shorted someone half a PO. Ahhh such drama.

It's not, the EU version is missing some of the cool stuff the US version is getting, including the case, the map, and the coin

 
There's a poll over at Reddit and the cancellation rate is about 53%. So more than half. I wonder if that is a pretty close representation of actual canceled vs safe numbers.

Yeah if you add the PAL LE + US SE,it'll be like the Masters Edition + an extra copy of the game + extra copy of the soundtrack for $200 total. Not bad at all.
