Soule also did the music for Secret of Evermore. Lesser known RPG from the SNES. Great game, though I liked Secret of Mana better.

 
So I think after I get my copy of Nier and play through that, going to download Mass Effect to test out my new HD. I started Persona but I didn't feel like playing 100 hours of getting my ass handed to me right now.

What I really hope happens with Scorpio is they have Scorpio and then when it's time for the new xbox console, you can still use your Scorpio as the next system then every 4 years just have a new model with a generation of games lasting 8 years. So have the cycle Scorpio > Next Xbox Gen > Scorpio 2 > Next Xbox Gen, etc.

What I really want for the Scorpio is for it to be $300 or so on Black Friday and come with five games and an extra controller or gift card.

I bet the price is $549 for Scorpio, that's my prediction. I wonder if they will say the price tomo though, if it's too expensive I bet they don't say the price yet, it will deter from the rest of the message.

Well, that only took about 8 tries before I got it to embed the video. Copy link from youtube, paste into chrome to get weblink instead of app link, then Youtube in brackets, http not https, and change the m. to www. Too many steps just to make a weak ass joke.

Brutal Legend's soundtrack was kick ass. I remember when that game first game out (or maybe even before hand) there was a demo and I'd just sit on the main menu for hours letting the soundtrack blare through the TV.

Speaking of real bands in games, I remember playing Carmageddon 2 which had a few songs by a little known British band named Iron Maiden. Thought they were some fake band (in the vein of Dethklok) until a year or two later I heard their stuff on the radio. As a kid, that was a mind blowing revelation to me and planted the seeds of a metal head as I grew up.

That amuses me because I think their biggest success was like 10+ years before that game even came out.

Those kinds of things that you make the connection on as your world expands a little or that you don't even put together until you're an adult are always fun though.

I played way too many games of Dropshot in Rocket League tonight. Now I'll wake up late and have to catch up with 10 pages of Scorpio talk lol.
 
Sooo many pages to skip through about Scorpio only to find the topic is still Scorpio and (ugh) heavy metal now too.

I just came into possession of my ex's 60" plasma smart tv less than two months ago, and my Xbox One about a year ago. Couldn't care less about Scorpio or 4k tv's right now...unless MS is giving away free Scorpio's to Xbone owners. Then I might care a little. I'm more interested in seeing what tge next BC titles are going to be lol.

I apparently unlocked an Xbox Live Gold bonus of $2 somehow and they sent me a redeem code for it. I have no idea how this occurred.

Starting to think price and release date will be saved for E3 - and today is purely specs and what it looks like. (Could be totally wrong.)

That CD was the best part of Skyward Sword haha. The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess arrangements are fantastic, and the opening medley just connects things so smoothly.

I'm pretty sure he's German. I am impressed. It seems like Microsoft has put a lot of thought into making this. Now I just hope it comes out at a reasonable price. That would be the thing that kills it.

 
I'm really excited to see gameplay on this console. Sadly I probably won't be able to get it for a while because I'm saving up to get a high end laptop this summer for gaming/graphic design. But I I wouldn't mind if MS keeps releasing exclusives on PC lol.
