The $200 is for the PS4 Pro (its technically a PS4 and is in the picture that goes along with the promotion), some people tried when the promotion first was there a few weeks ago to get it to work on the PS4 because the ad is so misleading with mixed results, have to convince GS to override the $130 based on the ad, YMMV. I was unsuccessful at the 2 stores I tried but I do remember at least 1 or 2 people having success.

I had success trading my ps4 for the ps4 pro. I am going to try my xbox one for the xbox one S hopefully all goes well.

Heads up if anyone still has PS3/X360 copy of NBA 2k17, trade value for pro went back up to $22 making it $32 w/ bonus 40%.

Sucks for me, I traded it in yesterday when it was at $16.50 lol. I thought trade bumps were on Mondays, didn't think they would change mid week like this.

How do you get $32? It is $20 base x 1.5 (with PUR) = $30 or $20 base x 1.4 (without PUR) = $28

Trade cards are definitely linked in some way to accounts. How else do they send out those emails where you can claim your credit? Regardless, it clearly hasn't caused any issues when using them on different accounts. I keep all my credit between 2 accounts on one card.

As long as you don't break the limits, you're fine.

Thought it was $10 added to $22, clearly did the math wrong lol.

Cool, sounds like I'm good to go.

hmmm might not want to have ur one card get too big lol when I used to have only 1 card, I got too many comments like "omg that's the most I've ever seen on one card" or whatever & they used to love yelling out my trade card balance when there's a lot of customers around, yikes! I don't wanna be robbed in the parking lot outside lol -_- u don't want to be memorable in this case lol.. unfortunately I'm still memorable by a few ppl coz which becomes obvious if a new employee was doing my trade ins, new employee will automatically get a new card just to be stopped by other employees who remembers how big a card of mine has been & say I already have a huge trade card and then ramble on how I could buy pretty much 1 of each item in the store or something crazy like that even tho none of my cards have over $900 anymore.

I think someone mentioned an extra $15 for console trade-ins starting the 18th
This is part of the monthly offers for Pro Members, its a coupon that will show up in your active offers once its live. The fine print says 6/19 to 6/30. Probably part of the reason they dropped the PS4 TIV from $150 to $130 recently.

I used to have 4 accounts, one in my name, wife,  dad, and sister.  I managed to get on their radar, im not sure how, might have been the manager at the time.  They caught on I was using multiple trade cards on multiple accounts, even the generic cards.  LP contacted me and made stipulations.  They made me nuke all the accounts except my own card and said from now on I could only trade with that one card, which I share with my wife.(banned me for 6 months too, thanks GTA)  So they def track  all the cards and such you use when you bring attention to yourself.(I was doing trades at different stores for 500-1k at a time).  Its been a few years ago tho and I need to open a second card again.

This is true

Yea I saw that post too that's why I asked, I don't want to end up further making my account that's trade banned get flagged, as well as my friends account that's normal. Any one can clarify this further?

And I'll report back on success/failure of the AZ Cash lol.
I made that post. I was always under the impression that PUR info and trade credit were separate but clearly the assoc. proved that theory wrong when ALL my info was pulled up on his tablet.

If I trade in a controller towards an ARMS preorder, cancel the preorder at a later date, will I be able to keep the 30% extra credit?
Yes you could, but don't abuse it too much cancelling pre orders GS people get butthurt about that and could look at your history and flag your shit.

What you could do is trade controller, put just $5 down on the ARMS preorder and take the rest in trade credit or cash. That would trigger the bonus. Later you could move that $5 to a preorder for a diff game that you actually want. That way doesn't count against their employee metrics.

fuck man trying to sell my Pro locally sucks. I just want $250 at least for it and you've got a bunch a idiots offering like $150. If I had no standards I'd just trade it into Amazon for the $220 and call it a day.
Did you mark the price as firm in OfferUp? I usually have success selling consoles for decent prices on Facebook yard sale pages.

Make sure you meet at a police station! If the buyer wants to see it working, upload a YouTube video of it. That's what I always do when selling consoles, so people know it works.

gamestop is only good if youre the one who is buying but if you're the seller, they may end up lowballing you since gamestop offer is way less than your asking price. plus my local police station encourages us to do it in front of their station. just my 2 cents. peace

Well yeah. I'd be more concerned about getting my brains blown out over a game system than the buyer backing out because he doesn't trust my product

I recently did a craigslist transaction where the seller's police department had spots labelled "Internet purchase exchange point." I was really surprised but appreciated it.

$40 new

you must have edited just as i quoted, because i didnt see the edit yet. why is this game so cheap already?
so odd - Wal-Mart had it low $40's going up to release and Amazon had matched it. $40 is a good price to jump on it. Might wait for pre-owned - stack that with $5 pre-owned would be good deal.

There is a police station near me that has a designated area that allows people to meet up for online transactions. I love OfferUp, and have 201 Five Star ratings. I typically meet up at a Target, Walmart, or Starbucks. Zero issues here (knock on wood). Yesterday I picked up a Wii system with a bunch of games for $40 from a FB site. The lady said she would leave it on her porch and to just put the money under her door mat. Very trusting, and lucky I was a good guy

I bought my first car ('87 stang) for $125 from a lady who said just leave the money in the mailbox and she'd leave all the documents in the car. I used it for 10 years and then sold it to the junkyard for $125.

Even if both parties are trustworthy (and how can I say she would be?), I wouldn't do that "leave the money under the doormat" (or in the mailbox) because what would stop someone else from coming in behind you and taking the cash?

I have a feeling this thread is about to be invaded by tons of noobs and lurkers....
In preparation for that...

Here is the link to get your Amazon Cash barcode (must be signed in) --> https://www.amazon.com/b?node=14583169011

Here is a screenshot of how the page looks when you first go there:

DO NOT BE ALARMED IF YOU DON'T SEE GAMESTOP IN THE LIST OF PARTICIPATING STORES!!!

I FULLY EXPECT THIS INFORMATION TO BE IGNORED ONCE THE THREAD MOVES TO ANOTHER PAGE!!!

Not sure if this was mentioned but the fine print of 50% trade in bonus says valid until 6/18 for Elder Scrolls and Rime. Valid 7/9 for StormBlood and MXGP3.

So this is basically just another option to add funds to your account without having to use Amazon gift cards? You can't use your Amazon balance to buy stuff from those stores right?

(Also, lol at "Kum & Go." Sounds like a store name in GTA V.)
That's right, this is only an option to add funds to your Amazon balance and not spend your Amazon balance at GameStop.

hmm, weekly ad clearly says ps4 gets $200 trade in value, wonder how they are going to weasel out of this one.
Again, not saying I agree with it but that is what I was told by Gamestop both times I tried

Ill go ahead and try it, it doesnt specify so its a good case. Will try this week and see if any of the 3 GS i have can override that. Thanks for the input.
