You don't, before you were even on here this site was plenty more active then it is now because people used to share a lot more deals. JP had to compile everything manually into the values, people were a lot more friendly and did not shy away from posting because some asshat decided their info is only clogging up the boards. Now I admit with BB sheets and TIV's now being searchable the need for info from others is lessened but what attracts others to use the website to post deals is predicated on them having access to the deals available from others (ie it will drive people away). I was against super secret flipping club when it was a thing and I do not like the idea of arbitrarily cutting off access of info to others when it really will not stop the problems as people will still pull the same old nonsense.

I'm probably ing myself over because I don't post in this particular thread much, but yeah, you should limit it.

My suggestion would be to set your own criteria privately (unless it's just being paywalled) and have people PM/email a secondary account for access for manual approvals.

If Blackbeard does decide to implement this, I propose that he starts a new Gamestop thread (40k posts is insane) as well. I miss that new thread smell

'Likes' are an arbitrary unit of measure, age of account and number of posts are (imho) better representations of a users involvement with the site.  I'd create some formula that weighs the number of posts more than length of account to come to a sum that must be greater than or equal to x in order to access the sheets.

I am not lazy when it comes to flipping, I know how to find good deals to flip. The sheet is super useful because of the boomerangs, which honestly if you don't have the equation are hard to figure out

with the 4/10 and 4/20 it is easier to figure out manually because the list of games is shorter, and in the past especially before the current sheet, I have found a few that were overlooked

it's the same rules as any business, buy low, sell high.

The spreadsheets are generated by my coding using GS databases. Spend less time at GS and more time with family, friends, gaming, thread shitting, etc...

Actually if you listened to cheapy's podcast on the regular he mentioned in passing about the cag16 code. The reason we have the cag16 deal is because he had a friend who worked for EBgames and helped him with the site by hooking up people with the discount. Cheapy talked about how the code stopped working for a while then for whatever reason it started up again, but in the podcast he said it wasn't a business relationship it was a friend with a hookup that he mainly communicated with through a few emails. But sure go on with your OG stories.

If this were his job, sure. But this is a hobby, and he wasn't forced or even asked to create the honey hole. In fact, I think all the one-off requests for GS data that are asked on a regular basis have gotten out of hand.
