Alright, quick run-through/summary of my summer sale additions so far:
2Dark - This one is really neat. It's like an old school survival horror game. The graphics are like retro, but with a 3D twist to them. Hard to describe, but very well made so far and curious to see how the stealth elements play out in this one.
The Black Watchmen - I flew through the tutorial so I thought I was pro, but then I got to the first test to officially start the game and got stumped and had to watch a walk-through. #FAIL If you like solving puzzles and codes and googling stuff this one is for you. Well made game.
Dead Age - Turn-based combat RPG with zombies. Fun so far, although these usually aren't my thing.
Dead End Road - This qualifies as the weirdest game I got this sale and it's so hard to describe. It's basically like a driving, dungeon crawling, shopping game with permadeath. You drive from town to town trying to buy certain items some old lady asks you for to perform some ritual. If you crash while travelling between towns you have to start all over. It's all spooky and weird, but really fun too.
Dead Secret - Spooky adventure game. Not bad, probably better in VR, but it was cool and had some jump scares. Got one out of 5 endings in a 30 minute playthrough.
Death Road to Canada - Basically Organ Trail but a lot better. ARPG zombie bashing action. Looting. Trying to get to Canada. Really fun. My beaver died during my first playthrough because I threw a molotov at him. I was very sad.
Little Nightmares - LIMBO in HD or whatever. Really cool looking, spooky platformer.
NBA Playgrounds - Not quite NBA Jam. I think it's a little more like a shallow version of NBA Street. Nice game and the best we've got on PC so can't complain.
Radiation Island - $1 survival game. I got $1 worth of survival out of it.
room13 - Permadeath platformer dungeon crawler? Really, really hard. Really fun, but really hard. You go jumping around each level killing zombies, collecting gibs and brains and ammo and then if you clear out a room you can collect loot (weapon upgrades) and go to the next room. Some rooms have traps in the middle that can help you (but kill you too!). I like this one a lot.
Roots of Insanity - Budget horror game. I like it. Some story about a zombie outbreak in a hospital.
Salt - Island/Sailing survival game. Pretty well made for what it is. Can see the bros goofing off in this one.
Squareface - I got this on tremor, but I think it was in a Groupees? Didn't know it had zombies, but that was a plus. Shooting arpg thing where you are a papercraft figure going around killing paper craft zombies. Camera is a little wonky, but worth the 299 coins I spent on it.
What Remains of Edith Finch - Really well made walking sim. If you like those, get this one. It helps I used to live in Seattle so I had added interest, but very beautiful and well made game.
Zombie Party - One of those twin stick, rogue-like, dungeon crawly things? I don't know, sort of reminded me of Binding of Isaac, though BOI is better made, better story, etc, but this scratches the same itch.
Potential last minute buys:
Room Two - Was in the BTA of a Humble I skipped so $1.24 isn't bad.
Ben and Ed Bundle - Comes with original game and new MP game Blood Party. Original SP game is only $3.99 and looks really neat. Watch the vid on this one. It's like a 3D platformer where you are a zombie competing in games to try to save your human and you end up losing limbs and stuff and hopping and crawling on stubs. Looks great.
Anyway, sorry for the wall of text. TL

R happy with every game I bought so far (at least from the quick playthroughs I've done).
