achievements can't ruin gaming for you, you can ignore them and the people that like them can choose to not ignore them. Someone else's gaming habits in no way affect you

Fallout 3 and NV are different games / stories. So worth getting playing both in my opinion. Doesn't matter which order you play them either

Yo, there were entire flame wars that started just because of the cart/cd debate up until the gamecube's lifetime.

I was on the side of carts since I hated how cds were easily damaged and had loooooong load times everywhere. Eventually, after a severe OCD with how my discs must be perfect, I stopped really caring about blemishes and disc load times became acceptable in the ps2 era and eventually not even a concern in the 360 era.

Shout outs to Sega saturn's 4meg ram cart for delivering all those amazing 2d ports with minimal load times!!

Grabbing Evil Within Complete, pretty good for trading the base game for like $17 during the tradepocalypse. Thinking about going digital with New Vegas since it's one of my favorites.

Will probably grab the Shadow Warrior Collection if I'm able figure out more stuff to trade in this week.

 
Here's my fucking tale of "Woe is me" for today...Went to GS yesterday and paid $19.99 +tax for a digital ME3 code since my drive is dead and EA Access sucks balls at $5 a month for one game. MS took the code on my Xbox one, showing the "You're good to go, you nowbown mass effect 3, it'll be added to your install noe section". Only problem is it wasn't, and hasn't, been added.

After three and a half hours on the phone and on chat support, since 9pm est, I'm still without this game. Should have just bought a year of Access for $10 more.

I'm in for Evil Within. Had been waiting for a good sale on the base game since I have the SP and traded the disc into GS for $20 a couple months ago.

EDIT: the 360 sale is weird. Only 2/5 FO3 DLCs are on sale, and The Evil Within is on sale for $15.

Why the hell should I pay for a service that offers ONE game I want? That's just stupid! I paid for three months, decided I'm an idiot for paying monthly for one single game, and bought a $20 code to own the game. Now MS is borked and telling me bullshit reasons why that game I paid for hasn't been added to my queue. I already own 99.9% of the Vault games I want to play, why pay $5 a month for the one game I didn't own on my One? It'd be idiotic to keep paying for one single game!

They have a refresh button on the ready to install page have you tried clicking that?
 
Yes, tried that, hard reset my console as well. In MS system the code was redeemed on a different account, yet I only have one account on my One. I've always only had one account. The rep insisted I redeemed on a different account. Then kept asking if I have different email addresses, and different accounts. I even took pics of my tv showing the code was accepted on my one single account.

It sounds like this is Gamestop's fault more than MS. If you have a code that appears used any call center worker is going to automatically assume you are an idiot and/or stole it. The real problem is proving Gamestop's mistake to them without them thinking you're lying.

 
I have pictures showing the code was accepted. After entering the code a page showed up saying "You're good to go. You now own mass effect 3, it'll be added to your ready to install queue". Took pictures of that page when it wasn't actually added to my list, so the screw up is on ms end, not mine or GS. After I told the guy I have pictures he went silent for about five minutes then ignored the fact i have pics.

I'd like to try Aven Colony but will wait for a better discount.  May pick up Battle of the Bulge from Blink's weekly release list since it's only $10 and Slitherine games never seem to go on sale for xbox.

Nope, have had the same, single, account since 2006. I buy MS currency two or three times a month from GS and have had zero issues. I splurge on a $20 game code and it all goes to hell...and I can't afford to throw $20 away on nothing.

So I went through wikipedia and other sources of games that were once listed as enhanced for X but are not on Major Nelson's official list.

The following is missing. I put HDR titles at the end because I think the wikipage might be confusing HDR sourced titles with being on board with X patches. Could be wrong though.

Edit: I posted in the XBox X thread in the other forum if your curious as to what titles are on PS4 with Pro patches that are not on the X. Again, still a good few months before the release so plenty of time for Major Nelson to make amends to the list and for developers to get patches going for the X.

Agents of Mayhem - The developers themselves said it would get enhancements in early August. Still sounds locked 30fps.

Do you already have it installed on your console from EA Access? If so, it won't show up in your RtI section because it's already installed.

I feel your pain on money always being tight. Have you checked your Microsoft account balance per chance? I know a while back when I bought codes through Gamestop it has been the cash value for the games..... not the actual games. But it's been a few years since I've bought codes from there though... Also, you should be able to see it on here if by some crazy chance it just needed extra time to process

True CAG came out last night. Cancelled my preorders of the Scorpio and Forza 7 Ultimate. I'll wait for the price drop for the Scorpio...reluctantly. Got in on the Amazon Ultimate glitch for $79, but the last time with Fallout 4 glitch they sent me an email the day before and said ooops were charging the full amount.

Praise the CAG in me, not the stupidity.

No, stupid is spending good money on a bad system. You seem to find the $20-$40 each week to buy games but your console is falling apart. Take the L on this Xbox1 and scrap it. Then you will save money on all the physical games you can actually use and then flip them back into GameStop when you're done and buy more.

AMC killed e tickets for Movie pass. Will still be able to go to the theater to buy tickets in advance for reserve seating, but was really nice to be able to reserve a seat and ticket on the app.

I thought my local theater was AMC but I guess it's Goodrich still. Seems like a dumb way to try and fight MoviePass, making it less convenient for people to use only your company? At worst they lose those ticket sales to competition and at best they're making people pay with the card instead.

Hoping waiting for the stealth bump at Gamestop pays off. I currently would get about $136 with my stuff, but I think it'd be closer to $160 next weekend. I'm mostly aiming to pad my game budget, not really make enough for an X upgrade.

With a quick look at the past list, I don't see any Bethesda published games having been GWG before. Maybe, but I kind of doubt it. If Bethesda wanted to promote upcoming games Wolfenstein would be just as likely, and they never did with Fallout, Prey, or Doom.
