That's interesting. I haven't took a look at the markup of the units yet.

Have to also consider kickbacks the retailers get when they go on sale by X amount of dollars or include gift cards.

 
So I guess I'm late to the party...is there any chance to get an XOneX Scorpio at this point? Any chance of a restock on Amazon or anywhere to get it tonite at midnight??

Your only option for a scorpio is eBay. Unless you wait to see if scalpers return the ones they couldn't sell.

Scorpio won't be released until November 7th. I suspect some of the preorders will be released at that point for failed payments and/or people that placed multiple orders in fear that some would be cancelled. As such, I would just keep an eye on the usual retailers.

Im gonna wait till it gets closer to Nov 7th and wait for canceled preorders. Didn't even realize it would come out at a later date.

Any way we can get numbers for extra Scorpio editions or just regular consoles in store? Can't wait for the adds to come out to see if there is a discount on xbox live if you buy it with a console.

Yeah, it's a bit excessive but a real box is more likely to sell and is more giftable then one of those cards that adds a code to the receipt. Plus this will qualify for GCU. ;)

Thanks, I don't know how to see the store number, but my Best Buy store is at 6670 Edwardsville Crossing Dr Edwardsville, IL 62025. I'm more inclined to go to Target because I have an anniversary 10% coupon I was going to try to use but if I could get a Scorpio I'd pay full price I guess.
 
Thought i read that PS4 pro (since its release) was less than 10% of PS4 console sales.     That 200$ price difference is not worth it to a lot of people.

im totally fence sitting on the X.     Got burned at 500$ for Launch XB1.   

Got that PS4 pro for 325$ within a month of release.    

No way im buying an X until 400$ or less.   Really shooting for that 350$ ptag.

Yeah, I saw that my store got 12 Scorpios in but didn't get a chance to see if they were all for preorders.

 
My Taco Bell xbox one x is due to be delivered today or maybe tomorrow.   I am desperate to sell it but have gotten zero serious offers even considering that I will have it 5 or 6 days prior to release.    I do not think this system will be in high demand.   I do not even see a lot of actual sales on ebay.

 
Can you post a description or photos of your taco bell setup when it arrives? Just curious of what is in there. Mine is showing up tomorrow.
 
There are posts on reddit now with pictures.

Retail system with a Taco Bell winner sticker (on the box) and a card that has 4 codes on it.   Forza 7, 3 mos Game Pass, an in game Jumpsuit for Forza 7 and an Operation Pack for Gears of War 4.   There is also a letter congratulating you and asking you to mention Taco Bell if you post about your new system on social media.

Mine is supposed to be here today, but it isn't confirmed yet.

I had Xbox One X (standard and Scorpio) pre-orders via Amazon, but decided to cancel them both last week. I don't know; I have a perfectly good Xbox One that I can play, and I don't have a 4K TV yet. It seemed like I was buying it just to have it. Maybe down the road when I finally get a 4K TV and need a solid player. Or I could always just get the One S...
 
If I preorder Xbox One X at Gamestop, will it ship on release day? I've never ordered anything from their website before and have $900 worth of credit burning a hole in my pocket.

Now...they're too money hungry. Got an email saying my system wouldn't ship until 11/6, with expected delivery of 2 days after release....

The wife gave me the green light :)! This makes Amazon look more pathetic with saying some might not receive theirs until December. Target now has both version available and Best Buy still has the regular edition available for 11/7 store pick up.

 
Got a pre-order in from Target, but it's saying it's unable to get my order details when I go to my order details page.  Paid with Paypal.

EDIT:  Now it's showing up.  Maybe had to do with the fact I paid with Paypal.  Seems like it's all set to go.

Anybody who has the scorpio edition from Amazon get a date? I preordered mine back in August and it is left at "we need more time". After multiple communications with Amazon, I basically got that I need to wait until the system launches before I'll know if or when I'll get it. I am to the point where I may order the plain from somebody else.

I did stop into Best Buy and Gamestop who both told me that in-store is done.

I got notice this past weekend that mine would be delivered on release date. It was one of those standard e-mails Amazon sends out to Prime Members for video games.

If you wanted a Scorpio edition why don't you order it right now from Target? Probably won't get it in release day which kinda sucks but should get it later on in the week.

Should be whatever time you usually get packages from your delivery man. It will most likley come from either UPS or FedEx.

I guess here's hoping they ship it out a couple of days early so it gets here early. I usually get packages later in the afternoon or evening from those services. Damn..

 
I wonder how many of these are going to show up on Amazon Marketplace or craigslist for way cheaper than $500 when this first comes out? I’m hoping to probably catch one this way.
 
Canceled my Amazon Scorpio preorder yesterday. Ordered it in August when announced out of habit. My Day One Edition box is still running fine and I don't have 4K. I will wait for a deal.

 
So I checked and 15 of my stores 16 Scorpios are for preorders. It's likely that most stores only got 1 or 2 extra. We are also getting 45 vanilla 1X's for 30 preorders so the demand is definitely there. :D

This is my main concern - it already sounds like they run pretty hot, plus it sounds like 1 TB isn't nearly enough given the 4K updates for some games are ~100 GB. I don't have a 4K TV yet, and I'm on 50 Mbps, so I'm curious of the XB1X updates are forced, or optional.

hows everyone's preorders looking.. BB hasn't shipped yet from what i've seen.  Have both online and pickup order in for midnight release.

Amazon I can prob count on getting it right on Tuesday but I guess I was hoping someone would get it to me on Monday. That would be awesome but i'm never that lucky.

edit- well i see the scorpio edition is no longer showing for instore pickup at BB.

exactly why i have my instore pickup order in place. I can't imagine any chance of getting it on Monday but I can dream. I usually get my movie preorders a day early but this is a console.

Unfortunately it only says "available for shipping" on the Scorpio, even if I go to Best Buy and try to add a new one to my cart.

Another thing I noticed though is the new one now says "get it by Friday Nov 10th" whereas my placed preorder says Nov 7th.

True. I see get it by 11/8. That's a deal breaker for me but good that there's an option for those still wanting one. I was also tempted to get with redcard at target.
