Quantum Break is a special case though. It's a hybrid game/TV show and 75gb of that is the optional 1080p TV episodes (rather than streaming them in 720p). Most games are hovering around 100gb and are only more if they have a lot of DLC.

as others have mentioned, man this thing is heavy! it feels even heavier than the fat launch ps3 from 06, but way smaller.

I'd bet the weight is from metal used as a heatsink. Likely aluminum. But it's just a guess.

My pre-order from august 20, literally in the first 3 minutes it was up, from gamestop still hasn't shipped or been billed. I called customer service and after 26 minutes on hold I was told it was in the warehouse and it *could* arrive tomorrow or Thursday. I keep my OG XB1, getting only $100 for it seems like robbery. I traded in the controller alone for $32 so that make the system worth only $68. I rather place it in another room or leave it at a friend house. It's the 1TB Blue Forza edition too.

All XB1 titles work online. Not sure what else to pick up, just wanted to play Gears in 4k. So far not too impressed with the X yet. Expected gears to look a bit better. Sure Forza will look incredible tho!

I'm keeping my OG phat X1 as well. I actually like the Kinect and have yet to use it to its full potential. Thinking about moving the old boy over to the living room since there's plenty of space for Kinect games and such.

I know this isn't directed at me but I got 150 for the S. The promotion doesn't stack automatically with other promotions (40% credit towards games and accessories when buying a X). The clerk adjusted it manually.

In Texas, I did have to pay taxes on the full cost of the console when using trade credit.

So no one else had their X delayed via Best Buy? Mine didn't ship until 7pm on Monday and reached UPS at 9:30 which is apparently too late for next day air. There was no update on the tracking for 30 hours until this morning when it was suddenly in Kentucky with no indication of when it left Georgia. It did reach my area within a few hours of that and was listed as "out for delivery" at 10:16 (even though it was a few minutes before 10 when I checked  :shock.

Anyways, I don't think it was mentioned yet but the Battlefront II trial is available from EA Access right now. That will be the first thing I download once its hooked up (since I already have everything else installed and patched on my external drive).

If it happens to you try a different power cable from the PS4/XBox S and leave it unplugged for awhile. Seems like the typical 3% failure rate regardless and happens on standard models and project scorpio models. I haven't seen any issues with the taco bell ones.

Had a similar situation. Label created Sunday, no updates until Tuesday morning at 9:23 that it had moved from Oklahoma to Texas and was out for delivery. Finally showed up about 5:30 but I was home all day waiting for it because it said it needed to be signed for. Then he just left it on porch, didn’t knock or ring. My dog alerted me that it had arrived.

Thank you for the information. My issue was with the outer plastic shell of the console. I was worried that the misalignment on the back of the system would of caused conductivity issues with the cables (HDMI, Ethernet or power). I have not run into any problems. I had the system on for 4 hrs and then played 3 continuous hrs of AC Origins.
