I sold Forza Horizon 3 a few weeks ago tired of waiting on the hot wheels dlc to go down. There's no point of returning to old gaming experiences for dlc. Perhaps when the whole thing is bargain bin or Forza Horizon 4.

If I was going to spend that much money I think I'd rather just buy smaller studios that make weird stuff. EA is most shooters and sports now that Mass Effect is dead. Maybe Microsoft would resurrect some of there licenses though. Microsoft doesn't have a ton of licenses to draw from.

I guess it would make Anthem first party, but do they need Battlefield, Battlefront and Titanfall to be first party? Disney prob won't let Star Wars games be first party.

Just bought Oh Sir The Insult Simulator before it went off sale. I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel these days just to add one more cheap game to the backlog.

There's no way I can realistically see that happening, but oh my that would be a ridiculous game changer. I know it's cool to hate on EA but with just the established yearly sports entries alone I guarantee they would outsell PS4s from that moment on. Unless of course Sony countered with buying Activision or something equality insane.
 
Rory McIlroy for $5? Sold. I’ve had that in my hard drive since EA’s two week Access trial from E3 2016 and couldn’t find the right combination of sale price and available credit to make it worth my while.

That's what I thought but they've been like this since the last time I played. It just bothers me that it's generic artwork. I wasn't too concerned about not being able to play them since it's two free Kinect games and a mediocre shooter that's probably 7 years old.

I'm guessing they are delisted since the developer, publisher, release date, etc. aren't viewable in game details.

That.... is disappointing news. I heeded your warning and watched some vids and it's not anywhere near their usual polish. Looks like Shantae DLC is all for me this week!

 
Anyone play WRC7 on an X that can speak to how it looks and performs? I'm tempted but bought F1 2017 a few weeks back because it was X enhanced and it does look great, I just should've realized I wouldn't enjoy it as much as other racers. I know Rally is another niche that doesn't offer as much variety as other racers out there so I may just wait for it to drop lower.

Is the Shantae DLC on sale? I didn’t see it on this week’s list but would definitely grab it if it’s not full price. Just recently got 1/2 Genie Hero on sale a few weeks back and got through the normal campaign.

Lots of first-time-users codes on eBay for $ or less. I think CDKeys has one similarly (with a disclaimer for first-time-use only). I think AWP is right in that the deals we're seeing on the dash are for renewals. Could try it out that way, and then maybe get one of the dashboard deals if they go on that long.

Still waiting to see if anyone from The Coalition responds to the number of RNG posts on their forums. Octus posted last Friday when the skins weren't a guaranteed drop that they initially rolled out the event with a chance at a skin to extend the longevity of the event, i.e., to keep people playing the event after getting the skins. I replied that allowing duplicates already does that, and also doesn't take into account people that only have the weekends to play. Though I didn't expect a response from him over the weekend. I haven't made a post yet asking which they would have preferred this past weekend, people playing the Horde event or watching and participating in the eSports stream. I got all the weapons, but missed some polls while playing the game and couldn't complete some quests.

Had to get up my points as well since I was below the drop, might play some more today to stabilize the position since i'm currently only around 70 TA above the drop and I have seen ho fast I can drop below again. Not getting my hopes hight to make it actually to the end, but since every week is a reset I try and see how far I can get.
Also for weekend events... I agree.... I mostly work on the weekends, would prefer that these are not always tied to a weekend.

As for the stream i only missed the Retro Lancer, they look kinda nice but I won't use them lol.
As for the events. I don't play much PVP but I actually like the current escalation event since there can be bots too. It's a change where I would play more of this mode instead of competitive. I'm only missing 5 Ribbons (7 when you count olé and not today) right now (didn't have to boost in this Gears Game a single time neither for achoevements nor ribbons and would like to keep it that way, but 3 of them seem rather situational hum.

I did pick up 2 puzzle/platformers yesterday: Unmechanical: Extended and 10 Second Ninja X. Not the lowest prices they've been, but I just need to finish up my Being Doctor mission. Used money from various holiday rebates/rewards so no serious damage to my real monies.

Over the past several months of playing several different games and game types, I've learned 1 thing ... my jumping skills suck.

Have you played Dirt Rally? I loved it, but once FH3 came out, it ruined the graphics for me since FH3 looked so stunning. Great gameplay, if you want more sim-like experience.

Wow, see, i bought the expansion pass before 2nd dlc was known & before 1st dlc was out when they were offering a discount, and I was so utterly disappointed that it was hot wheels junk that i never even started it up, nor downloaded the free cars that came with it. I felt it was arcade enough as it was, so having stuff like blizzard mountain, or even stuff closer to forza in rally events would be insane, but the ramps & the toy like stuff took out the immersion for me so i had to ignore it. Too bad they wont let you gift dlc that you never even loaded up, else I'd give it away so someone could get use out of it.

Yes, I've been waiting for the Darkness 2 to go BC for quite some time.  I really enjoyed the first game and am very excited to play 2.  Good thing I added it to the digital backlog years ago. 

 
Damn it. I should have bought Spec Ops one of the 37 times it was on sale.

On a side note, the MSRPs of some Xbox 360 games are ridiculous. $29.99 for Spec Ops? I wonder if we'll ever see it hit $5.99 again or if the evil BC tax will prevent that from happening.

 
Definitely check out Spec-Ops, it's not perfect but it does tell it's story in an interesting way. Don't look up anything if you haven't already, or you'll likely be spoiled.
