The majority of stores have them at this price, I provided BS links for the ones I purchased. However, South Park & MvC:I is also included in this deal. PS4 versions are as well.

What are the chances of me finding a South Park and Gran Turismo Sport Steelbook tomorrow?
Not high, but it really depends on the store. No one could possible give you a very helpful answer, just have to check.

All that my store had left was one AC origins but at the current price I’m still not wanting it. $30 and I’d go for it.

AC:O was $30 last week

Shipping was almost $5 First Class and mailer was $1.09 at Target. Game was $32.2x after tax. Is shipping usually that high? I swear first class used to be like $3 to ship a game.

Considering we all have benefited in one or many ways from CAG, defaulting to "what's in it for me?" like "gas\time?" over something you most likely already have sitting in a pile collecting dust is just offensive to me. Sure there are always exclusions to that and even bumping up the price to cover extras like packing is, IMHO, a fair thing to do.

EDIT: that ended weird. Basically is it really so damn hard to just do a decent thing for a fellow nerd without hoovering extra coinage for yourself?

yeah, they increased the rates at the beginning of the year. pretty soon it's going to be cheaper to ship a game with UPS. lol

Lol, I sent people a couple gold editions and I was surprised by the shipping costs. I didn't take into account the added weight, which bumped these up into priority mail class. On one, I inadvertently made like $1.50 and on the other, I lost a nickel. Meh.

It made me feel good to help some CAGs out, so if say it's a win.

If it's in the 4oz or lower range it's $3.50 I think above 6oz it goes up to ~$5

I just shipped a MvC:I SteelBook Edition in a bubble mailer (7.6 oz total, according to the kiosk's scale) earlier today First Class and the cost was $3.75. The online cost estimator at usps.com was MUCH higher than that, close to $5.

It was just a joke guys :c

I usually ship my games out via USPS flat rate so $7.
Hello sir, the internet is no place for humor and jokes! :)

I'm not sure why people feel they are entitled to buy a game from another member at cost simply because they post on the same website. Kudos to the people willing to go out of their way to help them out though.

Steelbook in a bubble mailer? No thanks. I box all those when I ship them, rather charge the incremental extra than have someone get a metal accordion.

Also, not everyone is shipping from the same origination point and destination. So we can't say that because you paid a cheaper shipping price the next person will pay the same rate.

I’d be interested in an AC:O or Shadow of War for PS4 if anyone is still selling. Pm me.

30$ for these was a steal for anyone who got one. When I checked back like two months they didn’t have any gold editions of anything.

All the ones I have sent, I send in a bubble mailer inside a box.

Not trusting the mail handlers to not fuck it up.

It ends up being $4-5 for First Class. (usually 11-13 oz)

I do not want to spam this thread but I have a X1 shadow of war and ps4 south park. Anybody wants either PM me because the next stop is ebay.

Walmart ended up being super useful a few weeks back when Target was running the BOGO 50% off. I got lucky finding gold editions for AC Origins, Shadow of War, and SP and paid $22.50 apiece for AC and Shadow of War and $15 for SP. Before that sale, I was fairly certain I was gonna skip AC and Shadow of War, but it's hard to do that when steelbook editions and season passes are in the mix too.

Best of luck to those still looking very for these editions, and kudos to the fellow CAGs looking out for others unable to find gold editions in their area.

If anyone’s in area go for it. Guy tried saying it was the same as standard. Still full of every copy you guys are looking for.

Anyone know if the Target online price for Shadow of War is the same in store? My local store still has a Gold Edition, but I wager it would be difficult to get them to understand that it shares the same DPCI if I had to price match...

Edit: I guess I could buy it and then just price match with my receipt...

In my experience, I just took it to customer service, told them they had it listed cheaper on their own website, dude scanned it, said, "Yep!" and off I went.

Anyone have an extra Shadow of War Steelbook they would be willing to ship?  PS4 is the console I want, and also I want to make sure the thing isn't beat to shit or dented.  Also possibly interested in a Fractured But Whole Gold Edition as well for PS4.  Let me know!

Found some AC:O and South Park in my store but they weren't discounted  :fridge:If anyone's willing to sell me any (XB1 or PS4) I'd appreciate it

late to the party, but I ended up with a bunch of them if anyone is still looking (ACO both consoles, SoW xb1, South Park xb1, Lego marvel super heroes 2 ps4, Grand turismo steelbook ps4) message me an offer if interested

I have an opened copy of AC:O gold Edition Steelbook for PS4, with the code unused that I just picked up. It isn’t grabbing my attention like I thought it would. PM me an offer.

Are the Xbox One X enhancements worth getting it for that system because they have plenty of Xbox copies or the PS4 version if i plan on getting a PS4 Pro in the next few weeks for Shadow of War?

Finally found a Target with one Shadow of War Gold PS4 hidden behind all the regular versions behind the glass. The guy at the electronic section noticed the different cover art when trying to pm their website for $29, so just bought it for $50. Luckily the guest services lady was able to pm it on my way out. Showed her that the receipt dpci matched the website dpci and she did a return/rebuy for me.
