Went to two of my Wal-Mart's located near me and none of them had any of those joy cons despite saying 3 and 4. Eh, whatever. I'll live.

I checked 2 in Vegas on my way home from work, both said 4, neither had any. I have the blue and red and pink and green set already, just was hoping to get 2 more for 8 player Smash and Mario Kart. Oh well, no biggie.

Just finished Shadow Complex remastered and It's as fun as it was years ago! Really short though, just over 4 hours to finish. Of course I didn't get all the armor parts because just like years ago I was able to just get the boots and bypass the other parts. Whether that's a glitch or short cut... who knows? But it worked again.

It seems to hold 60fps outside of some odd parts near the end and maybe one other time but quickly jumps back to 60fps.

Worth a run if your into Metroidvania type games. Was one of my favorite 360 games back in the day though I'm not sure I'd rate it as high today, especially after playing all the GBA Castlevania games.

Looks like console purchases ended on the 28th. I booted up Pinball Arcade on XBox One and the countdown in days to purchase popup has -1 days lol.

No worries there. Currently playing the Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit so the developers got you covered there.

Warning to anyone starting the game...turn off vibration. The opening scene has a moment of insane vibration that I'm sure just set off the Richter Scale.

I had fun doing some completionist stuff so it took me longer. I agree, it's not better than the games that inspired it, but it's great while it lasts.

Nah, I follow the mods on reddit, the new models have the SNES Mini hardware inside, which is just slightly updated/more powerful but otherwise identical. Only thing that really matters is using the newest mod tools which are compatible.

They are probably making a such a good profit on them, they don't care if people mod them.

I purchased all the seasons over the past couple of months. I have been enjoying the game. Gives me a way to practice for the real thing. I can go to some local arcades to play the real tables which is much more enjoyable.

I had to access a computer to turn it off. If that helps any for any future issues.


Oh and I was able to grab a set of the watermelon joy cons for 24.88. Finally got to get a good item on the cheap/clearance deals. :)
I actually wanted these, and I don't have to wait for them to finish charging to play when I got a second set.

Edit , so I just checked brickseek now all the local stores are showing $69 instead of 24.88 ?
The closest store who "couldn't find them " now has them back in stock lol
I drove an hour to get them, but at least I got them at a discount and will put them to good use. :)

According to a post from Wario64 on Twitter, some off brand was supposed to be marked down to that, not the official Nintendo brand. Walmart is slowly fixing the issue, but Managers have been alerted to not honor the price.

 
Finally Mixer's interface is updated. It's not a pain to just view on the web anymore easier to track for those that didn't spend their rewards yet.

Ahh thanks for the heads up. Glad I got it earlier today. The cashier didn't mind one bit to sell them to me for that price. Still kinda funny that a store didn't have them or couldn't find them a few hours ago. Magically appear. I'm thinking either someone had them hidden or on hold? Shoot, was meaning to get The Creature From the Black Lagoon. Was never too big on pinabll, but I played that a ton in college at the rec hall. Don't want to drop full price on a season though.

like squishface said it HAS to be done on a pc. Very frustrating. I searched my console on the day it expired and took too much time and it renewed on me. Chatted with CS (still on the console, shoulda gone to pc first) and got it reversed and cancelled without issue. A few days later I got the E3 $1 deal to have it end 7/16. Then used a code I got in February from a quest that expired soon and got the offer to leave autorenew on and get another month so I'm good til 9/16 now. Just have to disable autorenew before then.

Maybe the managers at those stores knew of the issue and just pulled them from stock so they couldn't be sold at that price.

Unfortunately it's broken everywhere. On my Xbox console it says sorry something went wrong try later. On my mobile / PC it says looks like something went wrong, try later. But has been persistent since last year :(

Maybe. ... I think it was the same store that refused to price match a game and movie from their own website even though it is listed in their corporate site lol.

I hope others were able to get them cheap that were looking for another set to use. I'm still pretty stoked that I actually got them. It was so worth the drive. ( it caused me to be late to meet with some friends, but they completely understood once I told them what I was doing)

As for the 4th of July sale or ultimate sale w/e it's called . I thought they would have a preview of it by now. Kinda curious how cheap forza motorsport 7 will be. I traded my copy a while back to pay for some Nintendo stuff and would like to play it again. That's the only game I can think of right now that I would be interested in. Maybe some cheap 360 bc games
 
Probably YMMV but one of the targets near me has the standard version of Homefront on clearance for $9ish. Think the deluxe edition was the same price during sales, but if you prefer physical it's a decent price.

I'm sure there will be a nugget or two in it, but you know it's going to be how come you still don't own both Metro games for $5 or this Saint's Row stuff. There are literally hundreds of ID@xbox titles someone could probably make some money on that haven't sold a copy in months that never show on any sale.

The Steep Road to the Olympics add on is also on sale on Best Buy for $14.99.

Any Steep owners have it (or the re-released version with it)? Have kind of wanted it but was sore over it not being included in the Gold Edition. But may pick it up at that price.

Nice catch. I believe Best Buy did something similar last year. So we are getting the Summer Sale this week fo sho.

I have the reissued Olympic games edition. It's pretty cool, and The added items are a nice touch. It got appears that it got a 77/100 from meta critic.

Thanks. I enjoy the base game (well, the Gold Edition) so might pick it up. Probably wait until tomorrow to see if it’s on XBL for that price to at least get some MS rewards points.

Also wanted to mention that despite the mediocre reviews, I’m having a blast with The Crew 2. Love the diversity and arcadey driving style. Only annoyance is how some things are destructible but others cause you to come to a dead stop. And some rubber banding. Still glad I picked it up.

I know a lot of you dudes were not into the GWG, but if you like achievements, Virtua Fighter is super easy. I spent less than an hour and got 320/400. I estimate another 15-20 mins to get the rest. And if you're awful at multiplayer the online one isn't even wins, it's simply play in 10 matches. 

 
My first experience with any Forza game was FH3 and I really liked that game. Recently I started FH2 since it was $5 and I am really loving the setting over FH3. There are some obvious quality of life and feature improvements that FH3 has over FH2 but the world of FH2 is more interesting to me. I know that it has been $5 many times before but I bought Storm Island  for $8 this week because I am liking the game so much.
