The discounts for The Elder Scrolls Online and Fallout 4 are counting down for date night.  From summer sale to spotlight sale to DwG?

Ah, didn't catch that small tidbit. Though I'm assuming if it is an actual thing, it has to be in the far future if anything since there has been no indication in any outlets of them saying TV will be included with the app. I Think until I see something concrete I wouldn't put anything into Microsoft saying that.

 
TV shows aren’t included in MA for any retailer yet. One of the service’s promises that has yet to come to fruition.

That's because that is the name of Microsoft's streaming service. MA doesn't support syncing of TV shows (yet) but I certainly wouldn't mind them being included.

 
Kinda bummed TV shows aren’t a thing yet for MA - I was really hoping to have the few Bugs Bunny episodes that I bought on my 360 years ago. Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I might have to check out the emperors blades sometime. I'm going to check later to see of there is a demo.

You should just need to provide the login details for your MS account. I don't think they require more than that.

Damn, all this talk about fighters is tempting to reinstall Injustice 2. After Netherrealm had the audacity of not announcing MK11 at E3, I'm itching for a fighting game.

Yes, that is correct, but it is 100 Bing points (I think they are called Microsoft points now). I don't know if 100 points is equal to $1 though. And the points came immediately for me when I bought Castaway Parsdise and Not Another Dungeon. That said, I am fairly certain that most of the games that qualify will be on sale again in the next few months. Xbox Live is cluttered with so many indie games now so most of these will go under the radar. And Castaway Paradise glitched on me yesterday to the point that I couldn't move my character at one point during the tutorial. Not good. I will reinstall and if that doesn't work, I will request a refund.

They didn't announce anything. These were announced a while back and just got new trailers and a shadow drop release. I guess this tecnically applies to Cross Tag Battle, but at least they teased something new.

I almost think Capcom doesn't understand how to use EVO to it's maximum potential. Last year they announced Abigail, that everyone hates, when they could have probably shifted stuff around and shown off Menat instead. As far as I had seen before, reception to G wasn't great when he was first announced, so the only hype is for Sagat.

 
Was interested in Castaway Paradise but found out about and downloaded the free iOS version of it instead. And I’m happy MS is joining MA but I don’t think I have any movies from MS, will have to double check. Negan and Lucille is better suited in Souls Caliber. And hopefully SFV and Fighting Layer Ex makes its way on Xbox.

That's true, but there was also a new Guilty Gear announced. It's sad to see how many fighting games Xbox misses out on: Guilty Gear, Blazblue, King of Fighters, SNK Heroines, Fighting EX Layer, Fantasy Strike, and Street Fighter.

I'm not a big fan of DLC, but I think these companies are doing great at updating their games instead of releasing a slightly upgraded version, making the old one obsolete.

I'm partial to churches myself. But I might be biased because living up north I only ever get it like 1 time a year if that.

Well, Tekken 7 will now allow me to place Akuma wearing a Santa hat and a shiny shirt against Negan in a Bullet Club shirt. If I hadn't gotten 80% of the achievements in the game during the free weekend, and if I wasn't completely terrible at fighting games online, I'd probably buy it.

Good luck! Another rogue like I would highly recommend is Rogue Legacy. I spent so many hours playing that game on my ps4 it wasn't super hard but it was fun and some of the character traits were downright hilarious

I highly recommend Raising Cain's chicken fingers with BOBS (Butter on Both Sides) toast. Also, Layne's Chicken is pretty good too. In fact I think they are identical, but Layne's toast seems better.

The PC version just recently got a surprise five-year anniversary update, so maybe the console version will too. Great game.

Oh nice that would be great what a fun game to randomly play for a few hours

 
Taking another look at last week's sales before date night tonight. Only thing that possibly intrigues me is Rough Justice. Sucker for beat em ups, but seeing that it's part of the Team 17 publisher sale is leading me to believe it'll go on sale often and hopefully cheaper.

My all-time favorite chicken place is Golden Pride/Frontier Restaurant, local places in my hometown. They have the best fried (and smoked) chicken in town. After that it's Church's Chicken and Popeye's. KFC is just plain disgusting now.

Not impressed at all, one opened up locally, never had one before

The fries were the worst fries I've ever had and their strips were worse than ones out of a frozen great value bag.

Popeye's is where it's at

Overcooked 2 comes out later on, loved the first one but not loving the price tag of the second one, seems steep but I'm sure I would get my money's worth. And it actually has online this time
