There's a 8man invitational going on now on twitch, pulling up the vod should give a good idea of how it's going to play. Personally I don't care much about create a fighter, but I love it's there. Mechanics have definitely had changes and updates.

To be fair, it's $10 for the case and soundtrack. Still a rip, but it's better than the $80 for a statue and art book.
Season Pass sucks compared to Tekken's second one, hopefully the 100 CaS parts are worth a damn.
I'm either getting the Deluxe for $70 from Target or $80 from BB to soften the blow a bit.

70 at Target? I was planning deluxe at BB as well, but it still doesn't feel like a good deal. I'll wait for the pass to go on sale since I don't care about Tira.

The thing with Kavanaugh was politicized by the Dems. Held until the last minute, and then she can't fly? Really? Even though she has a history of flying. Sure, this doesn't look like a delay tactic. How about when they call for incivility openly and then are upset if things are not civil.

I'm curious if it's all there if you install offline. There have been some games that must have needed to essentially replace the .EXE eventually, so installing from disc while online essentially makes you download the whole game. Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is what's coming to mind. It's amazingly shitty in CoD's case though, since it is a launch. The MvC example didn't happen until they rebalanced the game or something later on.

Activision has set precedent for this before though, Tony Hawk 5 only had the tutorial on disc.

I'm probably going to try it out with the beta, but I'm not excited for it at all. The world looks and sounds generic to me, very standard sci-fi with some Iron-Man inspired power armor as the gimmick. Once they said there were only two dialogue options at any time and no romances, that was the nail in the coffin for my hope of this resembling a "Bioware" game. I've never played one of the their games for how the loot is and their combat was never stand out, with Mass Effect being the closest but simply feeling slightly above average for me because of the Biotics/Tech abilities.

So many core devs from both the Mass Effect and Dragon Age teams leaving since Inquisition's launch makes me very weary about the studio. I don't know if we'll ever get a game from them that learns the lessons from Inquisition and Andromeda, and that bums me out. Bioware used to be one of my favorite devs. KotOR and Mass Effect being Xbox exclusive are what sealed the deal on me getting a 360 along with (fellow shadow of their former selves) Bungie's Halo. I think they've pretty much been replaced by CD Projekt Red for me and many other fans of their games, so their loss I guess.

I'm glad you and others are enjoying it, but I've felt burned one too many times to want to give them a fourth(?) chance. We are FOUR years deep into Destiny now and Bungie managed to basically completely retread the blunders of D1 at pretty much the exact same pace seemingly having learned nothing. They continually seem to flip flop between cash grabs and walking things back to an acceptable state. They lost or FIRED a lot of top developers in the last few years. The thing that really bothers me about everything is that through almost the entire lifespan of Destiny, Bungie have very rarely backed off their attitude of seemingly "we know what you want, you're just too dumb to know it yet. You'll LOVE it when you see everything from our perspective", with the exception of the community summit about 4 months back and some of the changes made with Forsaken itself.

Personally, I think Foresaken does sound great in just about all aspects, gameplay additions, quality of life changes, the long term investment returning, and especially the lore related stuff. However, I can't bring myself to support this cycle of bad > good > bad > good when it cost about $100 a year to stay up to date. If you would have told me 5 or 6 years ago that Bungie announcing a new IP would hardly even be a blip on my radar, even as vague and nothing as Matter's announcement was, I would have laughed. I think Bungie thought they'd be able to hold off the taint of Activision, and they spectacularly failed whether they realize it or not.

Typically though I will make it big and bad because I don't beat around the bush with little jokes or whatever. I just get on with it, then the thread gets nuked and people generally don't do it for a while after that.

 
After this latest update, is there no way to see what games are saved on what storage device anymore on the games and apps screen? I have three different externals plugged in and that was a crucial feature for me.

Microsoft Rewards has a survey on the Points Crusader Quests for 10 points if you would care to share your opinion on the broken, mangled, steaming pile of hot garbage that it has been. I'm still stuck on it not counting xbox logins for the past week or so. The survey is not available on the xbox rewards app, but is through their webpage.

I'm grateful for the rewards offered, but I think it has caused more harm than good. I, for one, am not very happy with how frustrating everything has been and continues to be.

Yeah, I ripped them on the the overall execution of all their punch card type promos. The Points Crusader being the big one, but there's a Forza Horizon 4 punch card on the xbox app that hasnt given me credit for owning the 007 car pack for a week now.

 
My response to the survey was that if they are going to put the rewards app on the Xbox it needs to be self contained and work properly and keep kicking you out to Edge.

Also brought up the obvious issues with progressing through the levels and tasks.

With that being said all I have to do is login a few more days and I'll get the final reward of the 3 month Gamepass, etc. It's worth the effort in my opinion.

Wait, what? Is that why I haven't unlocked any of them, and started getting dupes again last night? Guess I'll never unlock them now, I too would rather buy skins. I haven't unlocked any new skins yet, just an old one. Got a Legendary for Hammond, but not his event skin. I'm probably going to get a few free loot boxes through the Kellog's promotion, so hopefully I'll unlock some good stuff. I'm not playing as much as I planned, still trying to finish my Fallout 4 playthrough before 76 drops. And I've got the stress test to play in less than two hours today.

Oh, I too am surprised it isn't endless. I can't remember how many rounds I got through during the anniversary event, but the longest match was close to 30 minutes.

 
Does anyone have a good setup and location to do the weekly forzathon challenge of getting a 7 million point skill combo in an off road vehicle? I misse the extremely hoon-able golf course from the original Horizon for this kind of thing,

The beach by endiburgh castle. Its close to the halo challenge. It has an infection icon also. Its near the top of the map on the right hand side. Lots of fun jumps. Drive through there and get a skill song on the radio.

I haven't finished it yet but great place to rack up points no collision points either. Make sure you are using off-road only. The extreme off-road or off-road buggies won't work

I’d love too see Italy but the locations they used with the French setting for Forza Horizon 2 would be similar. If they picked the right areas in Italy, it would be beautiful. The fields, mountains, hills and cities in Italy are gorgeous. I think Germany would have been a better setting than England. It would have somewhat similar areas but the architecture would have been nicer. Driving on the Autobahn and around the Black Forest would have been awesome. The countryside of Japan would be beautiful but I would hope they’d stay away from major cities. I think India would be a great change too.

I used the FE car this week in the area just below Huntsman Lodge with all the tree stumps. Really hard to break a chain there unless you drift out too close to the big trees. The beach is nice too but easier to flip there.

Your first two responses are good places to complete that challenge. Also, the 7million doesn't have to be done at once. So to maximize your skill points, start a new chain when you have a skill chain with 480k-500k. 96k x 5 multiplyer, or 80k x 6 multiplier. 48k or 40k if you got a skill song going. You only get credit for 10 skill points on one single chain, so start a new chain once you do hit that threshhold. That way you can farm lots of skill points for a car you like.

I ended up using a Mercedes G-Wagon that I won off a wheel spin.

Also to add to what jimbo said, try to get it done in one sitting. There is a bug that resets your skill total for some that have closed the game, joined a forzathon event, swapped cars etc. No one from what I've seen posted seems to see the trigger for the reset or rollback of points but still completing the challenge before doing anything else will be best for your sanity.

So I'm thinking of starting up a CAG game night sometime as soon as next weekend, but it could be the weekend after. 

I think there's enough of us with similar catalogs to get some game time together, whether that's working together on a coop game (Halo MCC, Zombie Army Trilogy, Borderlands, etc) or linking up on private online shooter matches (Halo 5, Gears 4, etc) or other competitive/casual games (Forza Horizon 4, Fortnite squad matches, Knight Squad)

In order to get some more CAG interest from each session, I'm thinking every session will have a $5-10 Xbox Gift Card giveaway during each session to a random participant.  In competitive games, obviously the gift card will be earned.  In coop games, it'll be randomly selected.

We had a game group about a year ago, but it just stopped all of a sudden and I think game choice had to do with it.  It was often newer full price titles on release week that kept me out personally so I'd be choosing games readily available to many members of the thread.

I'm thinking this should be a monthly thing (maaaybe bi-monthly).  Looking for some thoughts on this, especially from the regulars of the thread.

Totally down for this. I may not be able to contribute all the time but having a regular planned night could be a blast. Plus my fiancé and I have been looking for different things to play with friends. She’s not big on trying new games, but if one comes up that she likes I’m sure I can get her and some other friends to join in, too. Also, the prize thing sounds like a cool idea but definitely not a necessity from my point of view. I’d just be happy to play some stuff with good people.

I really hope they make some changes to ranked adventure at some point. Been a blast searching for a match the past 40 mins and seeing 11/12 accepted twice.

Yeah, it's frustrating. I think I started playing after they announced they can't be unlocked through look crates anymore. I have no idea why, victory poses for other events still unlock. I bought all the ones I liked and think I may be done.
 
Forgot who did it and too lazy to scroll back but thanks for the cheapy vinyls. Love seeing heads on my doors while I race in TAs.

I think that has a chance to be a more sustained success, especially now with so many titles on GamePass.

Lots of people here talking Forza Horizon 4, but that is still quite new so those that don't have GamePass may not own it. Still, there is a Forza CAG Club, people are passing around CAG in-game decals, people with GamePass obviously play it a lot currently, its one of the highest-rated Xbox games this generation, it plays well on regular Xbox One's but is amazing on Xbox One X's, even PC CAGs can play....seems like a natural fit for a CAG night.

(And I say that as someone that does not own the game nor have GamePass. LoL)

Finally got the badlands to unlock but the link for the scavenger hunt doesn't seem to work, just redirects to a rewards events page, am I missing something?

Anyone get the gamepass punch card to credit the 3000 points yet?

Checked the first achievement off pretty quick but can’t get the 2nd one to check off after 4 days so did a different game today so we’ll see but it ends in 3 days smh.

Ironically with all the ms reward punchcard issues I’ve been having the bond car pack I won on here checked off that punchcard immediately even though I’m not the one who purchased it.

I did the bing quest thing for last month and was working on the one for this month but now it never shows up so I can't see my progress or the quest itself :/ Have checked on multiple browsers and devices as well

 
Darkest Dungeon is on sale for 25% off to celebrate the launch of The Color of Madness dlc. I used my hot deal $5 to pick up the new DLC and I'm looking forward to my party's screams of anguish accompanied by the mocking of the narrator as I follow up one poor decision with the next.
 
Not Xbox related but do PS4 digital games have a region lock on them? Will Digital PS4 games on Amazon.com work on PS4 accounts that are not American?
