Some notes
  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold.  You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

This is true. After discovering Bing and microsoft points, my marriage failed, lost the kids too and I was fired from my job. All day, every day all I could think of was points. I'd get my fix when I woke up, but I ran through the searches and daily tasks too soon ...

I ended up searching ... everything. Even when it didn't net me sweet, sweet points.

It has become an abyss of despair, and now I just wait for the sweet release.
This is actually what that U2 song is about.

Thanks for the laugh man I can’t stand that guy lmao.

I grabbed Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Gold ed. It was the only thing I’ve really wanted lately and I had some Microsoft credit. Wouldn’t mind Far Cry 5 though. Injustice 2 is very tempting at that price but I’m horrible at fighting games.
I've been playing Injustice 2 for a while, but don't have as much time to actually sit and play right now. The nice thing is that for the Multiverse, you can setup an AI loadout of equipment, and then have the AI run through the fights for you. I will do this while doing laundry, dishes, etc. and gain all that sweet sweet gear in the process.

Wasnt there a guy like that here actually? He kept saying how great his life is and he was always posting about the greatest useless deals and then it turned out only his wife worked and made the money and she kicked him out. Pretty sad. You must be a complete idiot if you think microsoft rewards is worth it. I think the people looking for empty bottles to return them to stores are way smarter.

Picked up Burnout Paradise Remastered and MK XL so far, seeing some good stuff to add to the backlog.

Eyeing these games:

Bastion

NBA Live 19

Rise of the Tomb Raider

The Disney Afternoon Collection

LEGO Jurassic World

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

LEGO Marvel's Avengers

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor: GOTY

Need for Speed Payback Deluxe Edition

The LEGO Movie Video Game

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

Add-ons:

FM7 Car Pass

Hoping MS/XBL credit are the new rewards hot deal tonight when it switches. Have over 32k points stockpiled and started that Game Pass punchcard on the console last night.
Hope so for the sake of those who need the credit. I’ve been using my points on Walmart gift cards lately (I work there - and with upcoming BF deals and associate discounts it was a good time to cash in).
Thanks as always for posting the deals, Bloomy. Ended up grabbing LIS:BTS Deluxe, finally hit my buy point. Didn’t expect to like the first as much as I did, so I’m looking forward to this. Not much else really interests me, plus with Game Pass and being somewhat back into Destiny 2 lately I’m set for a while.

Turok for $5 is awesome, you should buy Turok :p
Trying to figure out if this is sarcasm or not. Only played the second back in the day which I enjoyed (but was lost as all hell).

I presume they're similar enough, but does it hold up?

Although a better question may be if the first Turok also has the cerebral bore. That gun was lovely.

That's me. It's been ... dark.

If you ever go to the Love's in east Kokomo and see a disheveled guy holding a sign that reads, "BJs for Bing searches," just keep driving.

Turok was my first n64 game that I bought

still my favorite system and one of my favorite franchises

Really wish the 360 turok came to digital and bc somehow, loved that one too

No sarcasm, it might not hold up for people who don't have the nostalgia but the Turok games were some of my favorites on N64 and it's easily worth trying for 5 imo; no cerebral bore sadly but that gun is great haha

Also curious about starlink. Was considering the $35 bundle on black friday but may pay the $10 extra to not have to deal with toys to life stuff cluttered around my TV again, just got rid of all my disney infinity stuff.

Was also looking into GRAW. Is it worth the $8?

I loved the first one and I’ve played the trial of the new one. I think it’s a lot of fun and I like some of the new characters a lot. This might seem trivial but even though the load times aren’t long I guess the games like the Arkham series ruined fighting games for me. Instead of playing matches to enjoy beating people up in a fighting game, I can boot up a game like those and fight 15 people while countering and using special moves. The multiverse is a great addition to the game but I think if I’d buy it, it’d be stuck in backlog limbo.

I'm really trying hard to tap into the rational adult trapped behind a digital backlog...

I know I'm going to pick up:

Mad Max (I loved it), Disney Afternoon, and Batman:RtA (also loved these) for $5 each because they are no-brainers.

I also know I'm going to get Evil Within 2 for $15 because that's a steal...

and I've been wanting AC:O for a while and $33 for gold is an amazing price.

Plus I'm going to throw in Lego Ninjago for the kiddos and Burnout Paradise because it's only $8.

Where's the rational adult?  He's the one who talked me out of CoD:WWII because I only play campaigns and $30 for a campaign to sit in a backlog for a few years is kinda high.  I'm sure I'll catch it cheaper.  He also talked me out of the SEGA classics because I still have my 360 Sonic Ultimate Genesis collection thingie.  The only catch is that it doesn't have Landstalker and I'd love to have Landstalker again.  But... I can wait.

EDIT: Rational adult strikes again.  I realized I have Burnout Paradise 360 as a GWG... so I'm good there.  Another $8 saved!  Thanks rational adult!

Some of the punches require getting achievements. Was deciding which game to get off the backlog to get an achievement for the second punch. Glad I haven't finished FH4, would've sucked because prior unlocks don't count.
I got the achievements in all 4 categories 2 nights ago but so far none of my checkboxes are filled in (besides the one that activates the card in the first place).

For the Indie game - game pass game Human Fall Flat has an unmissable achievement that pops in the first minute or two once you complete the first really short tutorial level.

This rational adult sounds like a real dick.....I'd tell him to f--k off next time he shows up.

Ms Pac-Man for $1. Do eet!

To be safe, I'm going to wait for one punch to show up before attempting the next.

I haven't signed up for Game Pass yet, and I assume that's the reason I don't have the punchcard in the Rewards app? If I do the month for $1, should the punchcard show up, or is it likely that I would have needed to already be a Game Pass member prior to that punchcard showing up?

This is the cheapest Batman Arkham Knight Premium and Deus Ex Mankind Divided Digital Deluxe have been isn't it?

Thinking of adding those to the backlog.

I'm going through the same thing right now. After looking through the list a second time the following are tempting:

Batman Return to Arkham $5 - Got the physical for the same price from TRU last year and haven't played them yet.

Mad Mas $5 - Got the physical for the same price from TRU last year and haven' t played it but played and finished it when it was on GamePass.

Quantum Break - Got from BB last Xmas for $20 but $10 is too good to pass

Also thinking of:

Lego Jurassic Park $5

Lego Marvel Avengers Deluxe $7.50

Turok $5
