When FF7 first released, I played the crap out of it, made it all the way to the end where you fight the last guy, but I was underpowered and my only save was at the point of no return - I couldn't find any way to go back and level up. Never did get to completely finish it, and I haven't returned to it since. Achievements will at least get me to make another attempt.

This is my story on almost every early final fantasy game.
 
FF7 doesn't run very smoothly. It's very choppy-looking, a rushed port most likely.

However, it is FF7 on an Xbox platform, it's playable, and the music gives me nostalgia-goosebumps more than any other game on the planet. Worth every penny and more.

Technomancer and Outcast look at least I'll turn it on and give it a look, but doubt I was ever going to buy them

You know how at the beginning of the battle he would knock out 2 of your chars and be left alone.Sometimes he would just knock out 1 but you'd have to be lucky then you could goto town with mimic,knights of round and mega elixir and repeat.Those were some good times indeed.

Technomancer is one of the worst games I’ve ever played . Nothing about it is good and shouldn’t be played by anyone unless they are in hell being punished .
 
Always considered GRAW 2 but wouldn't want to pay more than $5. BC ubisoft games tend to only drop to $8 on sale. Heard good things about battlefront and nothing about the X1 games but it's always a decent month when I don't own any the games.
 
Not too bad. I stupidly bought The Technomancer at some point and it isn’t very good. But don’t have Outcast and owned the other two at one point or another but don’t have them now. Looking forward to checking out GRAW 2 again. Great game if it still holds up well.
 
I loved hunter the reckoning back in the day and I've been waiting for a good sale (not a 30% sale) for a while

but after the last few months of original gwg no way in hell ill pay for it now

 
My biggest gripe about Technomancer is that "price" listed. Doesn't it routinely go on sale every other week or so for about $10?

Liking the BC games lately tho. Games I missed but were interested in have been popping up a lot
 
I have been unable to "buy" PvZ GW2 with Gold because I already have it via EA Access.  Anyone know a work-around for that?

Meh. Already have GRAW 2 and the Xbone games seem unremarkable. Battlefront 2 is a nice touch though.

My friend had the game and he came over to spend the night and he brought it with him to show me some stuff. he had a save file with some underpowered characters and I thought it would be fun to beat Ruby with underpowered characters. I purchased all the reviving meds I could and went after him while my friend protested this was dumb and a waste of time.

Cue X hours later, Ruby runs out of MP. It was weird seeing the error message for a boss but after that, I finally won.
He was shocked and I was stunned that the game would let a major boss run out of MP.

I purchased all the reviving meds I could and went after him while my friend protested this was dumb and a waste of time.

Cue X hours later, Ruby runs out of MP. It was weird seeing the error message for a boss but after that, I finally won.
He was shocked and I was stunned that the game would let a major boss run out of MP.

I recall playing the original GRAW back in the early 360 days. It was a decent Ghost Recon game IMO, gameplay-wise. But boy, odd numbered achievements and one specifically which required you to be the No. 1 player in the world across several leaderboards just put me off. Main reason why I skipped over the sequel a decade ago(plus 2007 was one of the greatest gaming years; Bioshock, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Assassin's Creed, Crackdown, Mass Effect, Rock Band and Halo 3).

I'll gladly give GRAW 2 a spin this time around. I'm over the achievement ocd and don't need to 100% a game I play. Though I do have to have my gamerscore ending in 0 or 5. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a good get too. More og Xbox games please!!!

Sucks that Square is never going to fix the bugs in the FF7 ports (resetting music, wrong music playing during some cutscenes).  Missing out on so much of a great soundtrack (unless you just stand still and don't fight) is a drag.

But in all seriousness, MS will never let that happen. All achievements must have a positive decibel assigned, nothing fractioned off. I know there's a better way to word that, but I think you get the idea
 
Ruby and Emerald weren't too bad with the right setup. For Emerald, underwater materia is a must. Use the lucky 7s trick and then have knights of the round x2 with a mimic materia on the other two and you'll mop the floor with it. Ruby I always killed off the other 2 party members going in and then cast Hades and knights of the round and pummeled it.

Yay for the real Battlefront 2!!!!

The ribbon was also indispensable for fighting Ruby. Made th mistake of selling it on my first playthrough...
 
Echoing what others have said: AVOID The Technomancer. Awful, awful, AWFUL game, and that's from someone who loves Sci-Fi. Funny how they managed to sneak it out of gamepass then proceeded to throw it onto GwG.

Hopefully this is the last Star Wars game on GwG, although it probably isn't and they're trying to milk it like AC.

I think you mean integer numbers only. Shame though, I would love to edge out some of my Xbox buddies by .0934 GS at some point in the future.

Agreed. I'm not the least bit interested in any Star Wars games from the original Xbox. As a Star Wars fan, I already own every good game on PC, including many that never made it to consoles. Of course, the only original Xbox games I'm even interested in at all aren't BC and most likely never will either due to licensing or a complete lack of interest. Only one I care about has a glimmer of hope, but I'm not holding my breath. So needless to say MS isn't getting any OG BC money from me.

 
I Gotta admit, every time I see Sleeping Dogs on sale on the Playstation storefront I debate buying it despite having beaten it and all the DLC on the 360 and the One and the backlog, but I can't deny it's a stupid fun game. It doesn't do anything original or better, but it borrows so many ideas from other games and crams it into one that it's hard to deny it's dumb fun appeal. Also it let's me door check people, which is a feature I wish more open world games implemented.

 
New to the Xbox One platform as of recent. Got an X and excited about Game Pass. However, I was really hoping to play Max Payne 3 via BC. How is it that nearly every other R* game is available via BC or remaster EXCEPT for Max Payne 3? I don't get it. Was hoping for Witcher 2 as well, but apparently, that isn't available either.

You'll find Witcher 2 under THE Witcher 2. I think it was one of the first BC games forever ago.

 
I was browsing the sales last night and noticed a whole lot of dlc for Titanfall 2. I vaguely remember it being said this game would have no paid dlc right before it was released. Am I remembering this wrong?

Lose the teeth, works well in the long run as far as gaming goes. I went 1-step further and lost an ear too (not the ear really, lost hearing in one of the ears; works wonders when the wife has things to say).
