This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Anyone know of a cheap way to get the two Grim Dawn (Forgotten DLC, and Ashes DLC) for cheap? They’re on sale for about $12 each right now on Humble, but that still seems high....

If not, anyone know if that’s worth it?

Did you check ITAD?

ITAD's great for game-price checking at popular digital distributors - https://isthereanydeal.com/

Grim Dawn: Forgotten DLC - https://isthereanydeal.com/game/grimdawnforgottengodsexpansion/info/

https://isthereanydeal.com/game/grimdawnforgottengods/info/

Grim Dawn: Ashes DLC - https://isthereanydeal.com/game/grimdawnashesofmalmouthexpansion/info/

Basically, looks like you ain't gonna find the pricing any cheaper for either DLC title right now. You might be best to wait to see if they later end up in a Humble and/or just straight-up wait for them to get cheaper.

Ain't played the DLC's, so I can't speak on if they're any good and if they have good bang-for-the-buck.

I played the heck out of Grim dawn and the first DLC. It's a great game. Base game has been cheaper, but I'd say it's well worth it if you're going to play it any time soon. If it's just going on the backlog, might as well wait - summer sale isn't that far off.

Hamble is probably saving Doom 2016 for the much anticipated, inevitable Humble Bethesda Bundle.
I dunno. Last time they did that it was ESO stuff and card packs for Elder Scrolls Legends.
Maybe some stuff for Blades?

Oh, and maybe extra money for Skyrim DLC for the Amazon Alexa.

Wasn’t aware of that site, thanks! It’ll be super useful as I took a solid 5 year break from PC gaming but just dove back in recently.

Hamble is probably saving Doom 2016 a loot chest for Elder Scrolls Blades (that you still have to wait 72 hours to open unless you buy an additional key to open it) for the much anticipated, inevitable Humble Bethesda Bundle.
Actually fixed it for you.

Is there a place outside of the gray markets to get a consistent sale on Steam gift cards? If not, what websites should I keep an eye on for future sales?

so, did anyone score some free gabenbux from the glitch games???

Queue the inevitable Madjoki y u no wen free?

RAGE 2 has Denuvo -- isn't it funny how they announced it only a day or so before launch -- so hard pass from me until it's removed.

Its alright, it was 'cracked' on launch and released anyway. Bethesda is a bunch of idiots and forgot to implement denuvo on the bethesda launcher version, so there was a denuvo and non-denuvo version already in existence and the launcher version was basically free to use anywhere

I still wonder how much money could have been saved by just, ya know, not paying denuvo at all. First since bethesda fucked it up themselves, and second it gets cracked in a day anyway, is it really worth the millions they are shelling out to a company to do nothing?

massgenie is somewhat legit.  A lot of people end up with games from other regions and such.  Not sure how steam currency would work.  There's a ton of massgenie deals on SD because SD is getting good kickbacks from them.

I'm rather amazed how "excited" websites try to come off in these articles.
I mean, has there been anything on Steam sales that have really been worth a damn since 2016?

I'm just gonna say, Garfield Kart is $.44 on fanatical. It's probably trash but it now has a beta that has online multiplayer so for less than two quarters definitely worth it for the novelty

It was a crappy phone port when I played it (which was awhile ago) the game loaded with a "swipe screen to start" prompt

Epic having a "Mega" sale and it's actually good? What?

https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/

Any game over $14.99 gets an additional $10 off out of Epic's pocket. Works on pre-orders. Notable deals:

John Wick Hex - $8

Walking Dead Final Season - $5

Hades - $7

Oxygen Not Included - $8.74

World War Z - $20

Shakedown Hawaii - $10

Afterparty - $10

Wow. This conventional gamer is going to get TWD at the very least. Anyone have a list of the non-timed Epic exclusives? Tempted by WWZ but also think it'll drop even more to get more players.

Got pretty excited when I saw the prices on that Epic sale, but I'll probably only get Hades. I'm mildly tempted to get John Wick Hex even though nobody's played it yet. Also, tempted to get Walking Dead 3 and 4 since I loved the first 2 seasons, but I also feel like they'll wind up in Humble bundles eventually and I'm in no hurry to play them.

Either way, today's all about Hearthstone. Can't wait for the Great Dalaran Heist.
