Square doesn't really care about their customers that much. They only fix things when people complain loudly enough, which is why Chrono Trigger on Steam got fixes for the various issues it had and not the older Final Fantasy games that came out before that. It seems like they're going to do something similar with Dragon Quest XI on Switch getting a bunch of upgrades, fixes, and features that people on PS4 have been asking for, but it seems like those are going to be Switch exclusive so that they can try to force people to double dip.

 
I agree with Frisky. They are horrible about patching issues. Even now, I've experienced some game breaking glitches in Final Fantasy 15, that have forced me to load older saves.

I played ff15 for over 100 hours and never had one problem. Sucks to hear you did tho.

According to an article on IGN, it was already fixed on the PS4: "Frustratingly, this particular audio bug has been a recurring nightmare for longtime fans. It dates back almost a full decade at this point, first present in the modern PC port of FF7 from 2012 before popping up again in the PS4 port from 2015. It was eventually fixed on both systems, which made people even more upset when it returned once more with the Switch launch this past March."

Is this not the case?

False information. The bug was fixed in the PS4 version of FFX HD, maybe that's what they're thinking of.

Can't you just put your referral link publicly instead of asking people to DM you? Or is it unique for each user you send it to? Seems like it would save you and others some time.

Pretty sure it's against forum rules for me to do that. And, it's not that hard to send me a quick message. It is the same link for everybody. Not unique in anyway. It just lets Raise know that I told you about the site. And, when you buy something, I get a $5 off coupon for a gift card for myself.

I just figure that since we are a site about video game deals, and that they sell PlayStation cards, and they have a special going on today, that I would let people know. Also, having people message me keeps this thread from being clogged up with people begging me for the link.
 
To try to keep this thread on topic, can anybody recommend Portal Knights to me? It looks kind of like Minecraft, and I'm not the biggest fan of Minecraft. How much like Minecraft is it?

It's more of an action RPG version of Minecraft with not much reliance on building and mining. You move between specific areas consistently after you've completed the goals for that area to progress the story.

i love 10tons but i was really hoping they would go a different direction when they went medieval. more hack and slashy maybe, idk.

 
Decided I'm done waiting for Tetris Effect to have a decent sale digitally and just bought it physically from the Gamestop sale today.

Also, I was looking at my wishlist and how is it that Batman: The Enemy Within seems like the only Telltale game that hasn't gotten below $10? I want to play it since I played the first, but I'm not paying over $10 a TT game.

They don't exist anymore, and it's usually the developers who give Sony the go ahead for price drops and sales, as far as I understand it. I'm pretty sure that you can download the first episode for free on PS4.

I use: https://psdeals.net/ . It's fantastic - you can create wishlists, get notified via email when there is a price drop, and see pricing history of every game (in a graph format so you can see how often it goes on sale, what the price was, etc.). The front page also shows you all digital items that have gone on sale over the past 24 hours, often listing them faster than the PS Store displays them at.

 
I may actually miss loading screens. Developers used to do some pretty cool stuff with those, like mini games, and hidden lore, and stuff like that. Or, just having cool artwork to look at.

Was the Shovel Knight DLC free at some point and for a limited time? I have the cartridge but I’m curious to know if it make sense to buy Treasure Trove.

It was on 3DS. Not sure about any other console. I got the original game, and all of the other dlc for free as it was released.
