For some reason the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition will be available digitally on November 11th, but I’m hearing physical copies aren’t out until December 7th?

For some reason
I don't know what could be the cause. Wonder what's going on right now.

I'm considering the Resident Evil Revelations 2 season pass for $4 and trying to figure out the difference vs. the deluxe edition. It looks like some info online is obsolete since episode 1 is now free but still inflating the price of the deluxe edition. If I get the free ep. 1 plus the season pass, is any of the dlc beyond the season pass worth buying?

When in doubt, look up the Xbox counterpart (which lists each individual item included). Anyway, the Deluxe includes a bunch of character, skins, maps and items for Raid mode, a single-player/co-op bonus mode outside the main story.

Streaming the new Senna Forever expansion for Horizon Chase Turbo, if you want to see that in action.

Edit: The archive is live. For the $6 it costs, it adds a good bit of content with a new campaign and a championship mode with new F1-style vehicles and more to unlock as you complete the goals and get 1st place in each campaign stage.

Quick heads up that PSN credit is 10% off at Dollar General this week (sale’s good through 10/30).

At least digital goods don’t end up stuck in shipping containers for weeks and weeks.

Isn't there a max savings of $7.50 though? Which means you're not getting any discount on a purchase of over $50.
The cash app 15% off PSN boost now has a $5 max discount for me.

Also, the boost can only be used once a week now. No longer re-appears after a 'cool down'... all the boosts reset every Friday morning.

Is there a way to use the boost to just load your PSN wallet instead of buying a game? I've been looking and can't find a way to just load up on PSN with the boost.

I add funds to my wallet from account settings on my PS5 to get the 15% boost.  I get an error when trying to add funds from the web site.  I only add $25 each week, since you're only getting a 10% discount by adding $50.

Just use PSN's Add to Funds thing. It will work as long as you have the boost applied. I maxed out my wallet with it when Cash App was doing its 25% boost thing.

Odd that you guys are getting 15% boosts now though. I've only been getting 5% boosts ever since the 25% boost ended.

Ooh, maybe I'm still in Cash App's preferred camp. I also got the $100 and $50 for direct deposit (an ACH from TMobile Money works) which is apparently targeted.

But yeah, I just do $25 a week since they changed it to a $5 cap savings.

I did the math (because of course I did), and you can spend up to $32ish and still get the max 15% off. But if you're just using it to add wallet funds, $25 is still the sweet spot.

Don’t know why I have continued to get just 5% on CashApp for PSN for months. Do get 15% on Xbox every week.
I get 15% on both. Not sure why.

It's right stick drift that I have. It's intermittent though. I started playing Control and the drift didn't start to happen until a couple of hours in. I have tried the blowing trick, cleaning them etc and it solves the problem for like 10 min and then it comes back. The good thing is that it's manageable right now. It will drift but then stop after a min or so. I did a hard blow and so far, it's been over an hour with no drifts. Watching the World Series now but might have to do the whole reset console and controller AGAIN to try to fix it. The Dualsense is updated so that's not the problem. I really hope I don't have to send it in. From what I've read, it's not as smooth and easy as fixing the Joy Con is. Nintendo sent me back my fixed Joy Con the day after I sent it in and they paid for shipping. I just had to supply my own box.

Regarding Control, I am about 6 hours in and I find myself always picking up stuff to read. I know it's optional but man, there are so many times that I pause to read something I just picked up. Still not quite sure what exactly is going on but I just got to the part where she told me where my brother is. It doesn't show on the map so I will have to do some exploring.

I CAN'T stand these long load times. I am playing the PS4 version on my PS5 and it takes 20-30 seconds to do anything. Die and wait 30 seconds to get back to the game. Warp somewhere and wait 30 seconds. Go down an elevator and wait 20 seconds. I thought PS5 sped up all load times for games. I can't believe a AAA game like this takes so long to load. I am doing everything I can to make sure I don't die. I don't warp unless I have to go far. I can't imagine how long it takes to load on a regular PS4 or Pro. Ugh.

Na, you still have unlocks (suit upgrades / artifacts / weapon traits / portals). But you do lose all health and equipment.

Thought it was rogue like type of game not roguelite lol
Essentially, a roguelite game is any kind of game that includes permadeath and is meant to be played in multiple runs. This includes actual roguelikes.

A roguelike, on the other hand, is an RPG with classes, turn-based movement/combat, obtuse menus, and ASCII graphics, which also features those things I already mentioned above.

Oh so there is a roguelike then, thought I was saying it wrong. Thanks for the info.

PS+ games potentially leaked for November, obviously not confirmed.

Knockout City
First Class Trouble
Kingdoms of Amalur Re Reckoning
Waking Dead Saints and Sinners VR

Roguelike and roguelite are two very similar genres. As the name lite suggests, the latter generally has some more forgiving features or gameplay elements that separate it from the very specific (yet apparently not set in stone, because I seem to get a slightly different definition each time someone describes them) rules of a roguelike.

Walking Dead shouldn't be PS+. It should be one of the 3 free VR games they're giving away in Nov.

Also, two of the rumored PS Now games include Mafia: Definitive Edition and Celeste.

Oh, you're right. I thought it was like the Stay@Home promotion. Walking Dead looks great. If the other two are just as good, I might have to see about investing into the whole VR experiment.

Issue with this is that it only has 1 VR title when we're getting 3 supposedly. None of those other games even offer VR modes either.

I would also be surprised if Saints & Sinners VR came to Plus, it's a pretty high value VR game.

My gut says that RE7 will be one of the VR games since it's already on the PS5 Plus Collection (that they have been dipping into for PS4, see: MKX).

The other 2 are the regular ps+ monthly titles. Supposed to be also getting 3 VR games to celebrate the vr anniversary I think
