Meijer in Colerain Ohio had Steel Black, Wave Blue and Silver Dualshock 4 Controllers on Clearance for $50.

Labo customization kit was clearanced at $2.49

Final Fantasy Royal edition on Xbox One was on sale for $9.99.

Didn't see a thread of anything like it, so figured i'd give it a whirl.

For those who are not sure what Meijer is: It's a retail chain out of Michigan that is similar to Walmart, without the feeling of being a warehouse. They currently operate in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. They are very behind in the online push, so dont expect much to be online.

I checked 2 locations in Ohio last night......Nada. They had a small section but nothing heavily discounted worth anything.

One had Back 4 blood, Immortals, and Far Cry 6 discounted.

 
I'm tempted to stop by a few Meijer in my area, but they never had games at their full price, so I doubt they have any at these clearance prices. *sigh* I missed the glory days of video games at Meijer. Floor to "ceiling" cases. I bought my Dreamcast at Meijer.

TMNT Cowabunga Collection was $3.99 on Switch. Warioware was $14.99. The Tiny Tina's Wonderland that is $6.99 is the Next Level Edition, if you're looking.
 
If anyone is in central Kentucky, Richmond location is loaded with clearance games. Just left with two bags full and still plenty to be had.
 
Nothing at 13 and little mack

15 and Utica has a few copies each of star wars squadrons for Xbox and last of us part ii for ps4.

South suburbs of Chicago. I went to Bradley (yesterday), New Lenox, Orland Park & Flossmoor. Wiped out, but wiped out mostly months ago at 3 of 4. Someone cleared the switch games in OP 2 hours before I got there.

Mine had like 5 games for once. Some ps4 copies of Madden, NHL and forbidden West. Snagged the FW game and left.

Was hoping for Xbox Gotham.

Saw Saints Row Xbox for 3.99. Plus most of the other stuff mentioned here at 2 different locations. Tried a third that had absolutely nothing.

Might just be the smaller floor plans phasing them out at this point?
 
local store by me got rid of all their ps and xbox games about 3 weeks ago. Nothing left but switch and they all were priced regular price. im in chicago by evergreen

 
Went to my local store in Northwest Ohio today.  All they had left was a Madden 23 and NHL 23 for PS5 and a New Tales from Borderlands for XBox, all for $5.99.  A couple clearance tags were left for Elden Ring and a few other games, a few PS5/XBox new releases for full price.  But they stuck all the PS5/XBox games in the same section with the Switch games, but no Switch games were marked down however.

The game sections as far as headsets, controllers and gift cards are all the same size but like I said, all the games got bundled into the Switch games section.  Looks like they're putting in a collectibles section with the new shelf space as the section had a bunch of NECA figures that Meijer has never carried until now.

Same here. They essentially had only a few sports titles available as of about a month ago for PS or Xbox. Only section they have now is Switch with a few stragglers left on an endcap at regular price. Not surprised by this, they weren't even putting in any effort to stock those areas.

 
Does anyone know if God of War Ragnarok for PS4 is part of the clearance? I couldn't find a Meijer employee, including with the red assistance phone, and can't find confirmation online. I'm guessing not, but worth an ask.

Full price (maybe 49.99) at the stores I checked. Seemed like GOW, Star Wars Fallen Order, and Diablo 4 were the games that didn't get a mark down at all across all stores.

Gotcha. Thanks! Yeah, the only other PS5/Xbox games the one I went to had were 'Fallen Order' and 'Diablo IV.' Still quite a few Switch games, but all Nintendo published.

 
So far I've been to four in the Indianapolis, IN area. The gaming section was wiped out at the Fishers location except for a few copies of Madden and 2K for either Xbox One or Series X. I can't remember what the selection was like at the Carmel and Whitestown/Zionsville locations because it was pretty scattered out. I was able to pickup probably the last copy of Gotham Knights for Series X for $7 at the Carmel location.

Something that's been helpful is the Meijer app that lets me scan prices for anything in the store including video games and see what items are on clearance because some locations haven't even marked the lower game prices.

Today I visited the Meijer near the Lafayette Mall and thought I hit the jackpot. I go to the electronics section and see Elden Ring, Tony Hawk, Back 4 Blood, Lego Star Wars and others marked down below $10. Wario Ware and Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity came in under $20 when I scanned them on my phone. Unfortunately, they only had cutouts in lieu of game cases so when I asked an associate for games, the only thing they had from the games I wanted was Spiderman Miles Morales ultimate edition for PS5 for like $7. I'm kind of bummed out but I'll keep looking at other Meijer locations.
 
My store literally only gets 2 copies of each multi console releases and maybe a few extra copies of consoles exclusives. Everything is new releases but of a very limited selection. They don’t restock. It’s a pathetic sight. I remember this was a good place for games during the ps3/360 era.

Since last week I've stopped at a few more locations in the Indianapolis area.

I stopped at the Keystone Avenue location last Wednesday night but because it was past 9 p.m., no one was willing to help me in the electronics department. I went back last Saturday and was able to get Tony Hawk 1&2 for around $4 and Wario for around $14. This store only had paper inserts so it was hard to tell what games they actually had in stock. For example I wanted Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity for like $17 but they didn't have any copies in the back. It does seem like some of the older Switch games have gone on clearance but the newer games or more popular ones are still at regular price.

Outside of this location, I went to the Whitestown, Carmel and Westfield locations. The Meijer app wasn't working when I went to Whitestown and Carmel so I didn't buy anything and the Westfield location only had newer games. Carmel and Westfield had actual game cases but nothing that really caught my interest.
 
So are Switch games included in this or just Xbox/PS4/PS5? Because every single one I go to they have a ton of Switch games but no Xbox or PlayStation
 
When my Meijer clearanced, it was pretty much all just XBox/PS stuff, the Switch section was still intact, although I did manage to grab a copy of TMNT Collection that hadn't been marked as such, but rang up at 3.99.

Switch games should be included but from what I've seen it's mainly older games like WarioWare and Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. I could be misremembering it wrong but I think Link's Awakening and maybe Mario Golf came up as cheaper than MSRP when I scanned their prices but I mainly was interested in picking up Wario and Hyrule Warriors so my focus was elsewhere. If I had more free time I'd travel to at least four more locations that are in the southern parts of Indianapolis but even if I don't get another game I can't really complain since I've gotten Spiderman Miles Morales Ultimate Launch Edition for PS5, Gotham Knights for Series X, Tony Hawk 1 & 2 and WarioWare for less than $35.

One of the two local stores had Link's Awakening for $18 when the clearance started, but that was a couple weeks ago now. I think a Pokemon was marked down but it was gone by the time I got there. Checked back a couple days ago and all clearance was gone.

The other store's sale basically matches what the average sale price is online, nothing really worth it except maybe $10 CoD Vanguard.
 
Thanks guys! I asked because it seems like there seems to be a ton of switch games and nothing else which made me wonder if they are excluded or not especially since they aren’t with the other clearance games.

I’m in Fishers, and only really go to that store and Noblesville. If you spot anything in the wild that you don’t snag, let me know! I hadn’t thought to look in this forum until today, so I may have missed some things. I couldn’t get the app to work tho.
 
Not gaming related, but the store in Kenosha, wi, is clearancing out a decent amount of toys, and it's a pretty nice 75% off. A bunch of action figures for masters of the universe, marvel, d&d, halo, spawn, and buzz light-year for around $3-5 each. Also some board games for $5-10, and Funko Pop for $3 each. Happy hunting.
 
Store near me had a bunch of Switch games marked with clearance tags now, everything 35-45 so nothing crazy. Bayonetta 3, Fire Emblem Engage, and Xenoblade 3 were the main ones in that range.
