I bought a swtich 2 case that also is used for other switch systems (ended up getting the one with the Mario Kart World art on it) and these multi-system cases do have some foam inserts to accommodate the other systems. Personally, I like the case that's smaller than the deluxe travel cases because they are even thinner but are still a hard case. But for the price that dude paid, having the extra bulk is not a problem.

Holy shit, I am in Hiroshima and was outside the Pokemon Center. There were a group of guys with stacks and stacks of card packs. Are there no limits here? It was just a ridiculous number of card packs. I had to ask my daughter if I was seeing things because of jet lag because I could not believe what I was seeing.

I've been out of the card collecting game for ages and I've heard card collecting's gotten messier and went haywire during the COVID days but I honestly had no idea how crazy it was until recently as I've been trying to get some of the MTG FF collectors edition sets/packs. I was at WM and decided to check and it was like chained off, I looked over and saw some misc sports cards some a few random MTG sets when a WM employee walked over and asked if I needed something. I asked him what's up with the chains and they gave me the details...

Well obviously a lot of people are. You aren't so good for you. There's plenty of threads about it on Reddit and other message boards. No I am not suffering fomo. If I wanted a switch 2 I would have one by now. I've made posts of when Switch 2 was in stock whether it was Walmart or at GameStop or Costco.

I don't understand why people are getting so bent out of shape when I post a video about switch 2 especially this video about helping people with HDR. This video literally helps people and you guys are pissed that I posted it. I'll guarantee you that there are posters on this board that have been helped out by the video. You really need to grow up.

There's like 10 active users on this site. I don't think anyone is visiting cheapassgamer looking for an HDR fix haha. Just buy one. You know you want it.
 
Non-Switch 2 question: I got an offer to trade some of my old games (duplicates, don't want nor need) for a nice Let's Go Pikachu Edition Switch, with the original box and whatnot, and only missing the Pokeball. Is there anything special about the Pokeball included with the Let's Go Pikachu Edition Switch or can I just swap in one of the standalone ones?

Yeah it's like they just discovered YouTube a week ago. Not having a switch 2 is clearly eating them up inside. I couldn't imagine spending that much time on YouTube, reddit, and god knows where else, watch or reading about something I didn't want.

The game plays fine with just a joy-con. The Pokeball is a neat novelty item but is not necessary to play the game. I played through the game with a joy-con and had a good time with it. It was my sons first pokemon game and he had a blast just using the joy-con.

I assumed any in game/digital content would be gone, I was more or less asking about the physical aspect as to if there's anything special about it. Sounds like it's not. I just want to have it complete.

Fixed Issues

  • Fixed an issue where items were no longer able to be used.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes controls were inoperable when selecting a character and trying to start Free Roam from the “Free Roam” map.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes the game shut down when watching replay after a race.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes the game shut down after a race in “Online Play.”

Nobody is bent out of shape. I think most here:

A) Think its super weird and kinda sad that you spend so much time in multiple threads crapping on a product (you say) you have no interest in purchasing.

B) Don’t care what you think because they’ve already made their decision.

Best to ignore me since I am an objective thinker and don't bow to the Nintendo overlords like many here. Stating facts is not crapping on a product and I NEVER stated I have no interest in EVER purchasing Switch 2 so you're wrong once again. You are so brainwashed by Nintendo that you can't possibly see that Switch 2 has any flaws. The videos point out those flaws and ways Nintendo can hopefully fix them but they also point out the awesome things it does. You can't comprehend that your Switch 2 isn't perfect. I get it. You spent over $500 on it and so you are going to stick up for your purchase no matter what the facts state. I go through life being objective and not blindly buying a product without weighing it's pros and cons. Right now, Switch 2 has more cons than pros for me and others here. The videos are for people here that might have the same issues letting them know others also are having those same issues and for people that might be on the fence about getting a Switch 2 so they can weigh it's pros and cons and decide for themselves. It also sounds like you haven't even watched the videos because you would know they don't just crap all over Switch 2. Shows more of your ignorance.

I wish more of the community would take the advice to ignore Freeze Time. He makes a lot of posts apparently based on all the responses I am seeing and it is hard for me to follow the discussion since I have had Freeze Time on ignore for some time now. I had to click "show ignored content" to see that Freeze Time suggested "Best to ignore me." Too funny. I need to stay disciplined with my ignoring.

The videos are not random and they have what they are about right on the picture. Like the video showing you how to fix the battery issue states right on there about fixing the battery issue. If it's a review it will state right there front and center that it's a review. When I post a link the whole video shows up. Are you not seeing the whole video show up? Do you just see a link every time?

I think an objective thinker would play a console before developing such a strong opinion on it, one way or another. If you constantly went on about how Switch 2 was the greatest console ever without having played the console it would be the same thing. Something can be overpriced, have some small issues and still be enjoyed by those who do own it.

I sincerely doubt anyone here thinks the switch 2 is literally perfect, or has been "brainwashed" by Nintendo. If you'd look critically at the posts here as critically as you do the Switch 2, you'd see the most positive Switch 2 posts come in direct response to your posts. I don't know what it is you think you're seeing on the forum, but the only consistent posts about it are from you. And internet reviewer videos are already on YouTube, so how are you "helping"? "Curated" "content"? What a world...

Maybe you could post all your videos from the day in just one big post? or twice a day? None of those videos are breaking news.

There isn't even a huge supply of the Switch 2 systems at the moment so you're not really helping anyone make an active purchasing decision. I'd ask you what you really think you're doing, but I think I understand. You've found a way to get maximum entertainment from a console without even buying it. Kudos. It's like parent who puts their kid in the motorized ride-on toy at the front of the super market without inserting any quarters. You found a way to beat the system and for that I commend you.

There's no fight here. The victor is always Eastern Airlines Cola.
