Hey $$$$$$s, get off CAG and go watch the walking dead.
I just got the Walking Dead compendium in the mail on friday. So far its pretty damn good. I'll start watching walking dead tv series when I finish the compendium (issues 1-49 i think).

Everytime I see PvZ, I think Perfect Dark Zero.

In terms of nerdiness, from least nerdy to most:
Does anyone have a 100 or 200 point MS code?
Go do the bing rewards thing -- you can have like 300 ms points in 30 minutes.
Damn dude the last cheese I need for PvZ is mad hard (survive 40 waves in Survival)

Did any of you dudes get it?
I thought about it -- but then I thought better and figured I had better things to do with my time.
Morbid obesity & loneliness forms the head.
Good thing I haven't collected them all then.

But they mail you the code right?
I needed just 100 instantly so that I only had to buy 400 from MS rather 800.
I had 1900 points to spend trying to get 2400 for the rebate thing.

It's ok, I went ahead and bought 800 points.

I'm 4 hours into Shadow Hearts Covenant now, and the game is fun. Combos are a fairly cool addition from the first game, but I don't like that you now have 4 people in combat instead of 3; it seems like they just decided to up the number of enemies you fight due to that reason which so far has made every encounter feel a bit too long.

Also, due to having so many enemies surprise attacks are insane; like enemies using group attacks in a normal surprise encounter basically killed 2 of my 4 party members before I could do anything. I don't think I've ever had that happen in an SMT game... although in Nocturne there were a couple times were my main character got one shotted for an instant gameover. I didn't lose that fight in Shadow Hearts Covenant though, luckily my strongest fighter and the person I use as a healer were alive so it just took a while to kill everything. I actually haven't gamovered yet in Shadow Hearts Covenant, but I don't remember the first game being all that hard either.

They email me the code within like 4 hours, usually.

Did you ever play Persona 3 or 4? It can happen a lot in that game if you're not careful.

I have, I beat Persona 3, and played part of Persona 4, but in those games it was usually like part of your team was weak against an element and your fighting 3 enemies and they cast that element and kill someone.

In Shadow Hearts Covenant it is like 6 dudes surprise attack you and proceed to spend the next 20 seconds beating the living heck out of your team.

Also in Persona 3 & 4 there isn't random combat so it wasn't all that often that I'd get a surprise attack; in Shadow Hearts Covenant (which has random battles) it is just like, running around a dungeon and surprise you now get to watch six dudes lay into your party.

EDIT: Also, kind of funny that you should mention that as my avatar had been Aegis for a while until I changed it to B. B. Hood.

@Gunm

Went with Super Meat Boy, Outrun Online Arcade, Bloody Good Time, and the second DLC for Alan Wake for 2560 points spent.

They don't mail you the points, they say they do - but they email them... different kind of mail.

Yeah if it's broken, which, ASAIK, this isn't.

People hated the previous dashboard when it first came out.

I see this all the time whenever Facebook makes the slightest change. "BRING BACK THE OLD ONE THIS NEW ONE SUCKS!"

Then again, I always find humang behavior fascinating :whee:

All I'm saying is, if it doesn't work with my free Perfect Dark premium theme..............there's gonna be trouble :bomb:

Joking apart I'm sure I'll get used to the changes, and if the chat is improved that will be great, but I still prefer the blades system TBH.

And they'd better not make that damn "Spotlight" thing any more obtrusive !!

New dashboard is better, IMO, except for the choose save device window. The stark white box showing up with really ugly jaggy black font? gross.

It figures -- I finally dual mod my fight stick and I get a defective fucking board. :bomb:
A defective board? Wouldn't you know it was defective when you were using it on the 360?
Nah... it's more complex than that.
New board (ps3) has some problem with fuses in the MCU which leads to button 10 being constantly pressed. Currently doesn't affect use on PS3 or 360, but could lead to future problems. :(

Which PS3 board did you use?

I haven't bothered to dual mod my 360 TE because I'm lazy and I have two VSHGs and HRAP2 w/Pelican Adapter assist for PS3.

fuck Vault 34....

That guy is still posting that crap? He's gotta be a troll. That is the only possible explanation...

fuck. Anyone know where I can get a "manual" for RE5Gold PS3?

Hank, I used combo of TEasy with Dual Strike. Dual Strike has the bad MCU with the fucked up fuse.

Sucks ass. I have a Cthulhu in one VSHG, works flawlessly, other one has a PS1 PCB in it. Two Pelican adapters, so all of my PS1/2 sticks are also PS3 sticks. ^__^

I've wanted to try that TEasy mod with my TE but I haven't yet.

No, I have a feeling that is legitimately one of his hobbies, but he likes posting that stuff on here because he is a social outcast, he probably enjoys the attention he gets from posting stuff he knows other people will find odd, even if that attention is negative.
