Dying Light, by itself, is a complete version of the game. I got it day one and it was well worth the price, solo or coop. $25 is a great deal if you never played the game before.

The game is fun, better than the GTA5 single player in many ways. Maybe the new GTA character switching just didn't feel fun and fresh like it should, at least for me. You can turn it off in the options. I turned the invasion off until I was ready for it.

With GCU and after that price adjustment, can't really complain about the price. Great game. Spent tons of time on the multiplayer. Still haven't finish the story yet but it seems ok, meaning not bad not good.

I actually could had grabbed it when it was 9.99 on XBL. Then the price went back up before I made my decision. I don't think I can buy this game other than 9.99 because of that.
