I know that I can pretty much get it anywhere but does anywhere have it for a few bucks less or with some extra games? Anything that sweetens the pot, so to speak.

I'm getting a DS soon and I have a few old GBA games that I didn't sell and would like to play them on the DS. Do the GBA games look any different when played on a DS?
I say go up their and give it a try. What do you have to lose? I once traded in a GBA (before DS came out) without the barcode. Of course they called later in the week but I still got away with it.
