To my knowledge, it's just the packaging. The EE comes with a slipcover as well as a small guide, while the SE has none of those bells and whistles. Content-wise, I believe they are identical.

As a dad who is starting to collect DI figures for his son, why did you and yours enjoy Skylanders more (assuming you're referring to the gameplay side of things)?

I'm probably in the minority, but this was far and away my favorite Telltale experience. I loved the dark, seedy world it created. Makes me sad we don't get more noir-type experiences.

Definitely considering it. Does DSII have the same framerate issues as DSI? On both PS3 and 360, I couldn't make it past Blightown. The slowdown just totally killed what was supposed to have been a precise, tense experience.
