Got mine and it's defective :( It's odd, it will charge a battery but the second I unplug the cable the controller refuses to use the battery and just sits there dead. I've used 4 different batteries and gotten the same result.

Yeah my 60 gig's disc drive died literally 2 weeks after purchase. I wasn't highly impressed and I can't say I'm looking forward to the problems I'm sure are soon to come.
