I ordered it from Amazon despite it saying it would take 2-3 weeks. I first off doubt it'll be more than several days, and honestly I don't mind waiting. There's always a backlog to distract me.

You're right. When I'm selecting a payment method at checkout it shows "Use your $20.00 gift card or promotional balance" I guess the email was just incorrect.

I only got a $10 credit. Could be because I pre-ordered back in January 25; however I remember the item description specifically stating the $20 promotion would be extended to any existing pre-orders. I guess I should contact them and complain?

Ordered three from Amazon. I had a $15 credit waiting for me but really I owed my two little bros Christmas presents so they'll be getting them late. The three of us were all hurting for Gold anyway and haven't had it in months.

Good deal for sure. I don't really need a gamepad right now, but I suppose it would be smart to have this as a backup, rather than pay full price when I might need one. I have seen a couple of 360 gamepads go bad in my time.

This is an instant rebate, right? I wanted a Guitar Hero guitar because I love the song list in GH2 but I think its controller is just garbage compared to Rock Band 2 controller, in that it's too short and its buttons require too much pressure. I'm all over this deal for the guitar alone.

I bought it for full price a month ago and thought it was mostly worth it. Could have used some more involving achievements (you don't need to get 100% or kill all the seagulls) for the replay value but the story mode was pretty good. Heavy emphasis on huge gunfights, which may or may not...

I'll get this if there are associated achievements. I don't know why I punish myself in such ways, though.

I almost want one at this price. I think I'd get this if I had the money, but I don't right now. There's a handful of exclusives that I've been meaning to play, but the console price has always been too high. If I weren't broke right now I'd probably get one. Also, appears they're sold out!

Hope it doesn't go free in response to newer DLC... Then I'd feel pretty gypped. But it's the kind of the thing that wouldn't surprise me.

You should be able to purchase it online and download it when you get your box back.
