@CAGkrazy: thanks! Unfortunately after reading around it seems that tiger direct is awful. The ratio of bad reviews to at least decent reviews is about 4:1. The fat vita has a beautiful oled screen. The slim has an LCD. While it still looks good, it doesn't hold up against the oled.

Every retailer I've checked doesn't have it in stock, online and locally. If you know a retailer that still has them, please do share the information.

The vita slim has only been out for a while, but it appears that many major retailers no longer have the fat. Does anyone know a place where I can buy the fat (bundle or stand alone) at the regular price?

@retardotron: they sent be a beta code (US), but it was first come first served, so it was already redeemed...I was unaware that they sent out the same code to multiple people... Idk how many people will post these codes if it's like that.
