Yeah it used to be 15,000 for 3 months and 29,000 for 12 months. Looks like they raised the redemption costs and removed the 12 month option. It used to be that redeeming for GP and XBL Gold only required ~9,000-10,000 points a mpnth. Now GPU is 12,000 for one month. You need roughly 400 points...

I finished the punchcard. I got the 1,500 points but no sign of the extra GamePass month yet. My expiration date didn't change, and I didn't get an email with a code.

Microsoft always has the most confusing ways of wording math. They first say "up to 75% off games" and then say "games starting at $19.99". That reminds me of their "up to 60%-75% with some more than 75% off" way of describing sales.

My Target had the Animal Crossing amiibo in-store, but they were marked as $4.48. I asked someone in electronics if I could price match the site even though it's clearance, and they said "Yeah, go to guest services." Of course I get up there and they tell me they do not allow clearance price...

Forza 5 just went free on GWG and trades in for $5 assuming the value holds Sunday. That would mean you could get $15 off Forza 7, making it only $33 with GCU on launch.

Wombat, you can wait in Fallout 4. You just have to find a chair or bench to sit down on. The game never tells you, so I only found out by accident.

The reason why Best Buy rewards points take 15 days to post is because that is their standard return window. They don't want you spending the points and then returning the game.
