I had both these and the AX720s and I'd definitely recommend the 720 over the Pros. The 720s may only be simulated surround, but the sound field and sound quality were both superior on the 720s. Everything on the Pros sounded off, or very far away and echo-y...like shooting a gun in an empty...

Yeah, I feel the same way. That's why I ended up getting the CBA 2.0, since I can use a first party 360 controller, and I can swap the triggers and bumpers, which along with the analog placement is my biggest issue with the DS3.

I had the previous version, it's a good controller but most games still force you to shoot with R1 so the triggers are wasted. I ended up going with the pricier but better solution of the Cross Battle Adapter 2.0, which lets you remap any button you want, even swap the analog sticks if you wish.

I was going to pick one of there up but ended up going with the Cross Battle Adapter 2.0 which lets you use a wired 360 controller, with rumble and sixaxis support, and lets you remap any button you want. It's amazing with MAG. Another good 3rd party controller for PS3 is the Shadow Six Wireless.
