there is no alternative, gamestop and eb are the same company, their cards will work at both stores, eb stoped selling edge cards (The ones that dont know how anyways) so there is no alternative

Its not that the store cant do it, they just dont know how. The new system took out the option to sell an edge card. Our store became smart because we knew the price would rise so we dug in the system and found the sku for the old edge card and we still sell them :)

The edge and GS subs. cards will work at both stores sometime this month. It's a good thing if you already have a 5$ edge card, Again i say: EB and GS Discount cards will work in both stores starting sometime this month

You guys got it all wrong. The Edge card is dying out, the card is 14.99 but it comes with a years subscription to Game Infomer

Yea, since EB was bought out by GameStop, Gamestop has been sending our stores some really nice rare games, sometimes unopened but still selling them used.

There was never a guarentee of having those in there anyways. FYI since our store was converted everytime we get trades we take out the instructions and keep it with the game so asshats wont steal them in the store so the customers have a better chance of getting the book with the game

I'm tired so i wont read all of this, the thing with EB games and Gamestop is that this month (April) is the month everything will be finallized and all the stores are to finish being converted. EB Game stores that havnt been converted dont have a connection to Gamestop shipping wharehouses so...

I know if you try going to a gamestop or ebgames and try buying a pennied out item they will refuse the sale

btw, you cant call to get trade in worth at ebgames, they cant tell you over the phone
