I heard games released via xbox live only got one free patch. So they never resolved the issues that plagued the 360 version since they cut their losses after the first patch didn't fix things. Obviously neither version is going to be the ideal experience but that's why the ps3 version slightly...

Well I've seen a DIY video of tacking a couple washers on internally to fix some kind of soldering issue but I'm not sure if that's just a temporary fix. Maybe I've just gotten lucky with consoles in the past, I've still got a functioning fat 360, I'm just not used to having to re-buy.   

My PS4 got the Blue Light of Death last week. I bought it used on AWD about a year a half ago so even if such a purchase was eligible for a manufacture's warranty, it's past the point of return by now. I've seen suggested ways to get it up and running so I was thinking about doing so to trade...

Ended up ordering 3 games with the Ps2 promo. Hitman trilogy, War of the Monsters (rented years ago and enjoyed) and Resident Evil Dead Aim (since I've got guncons that are collecting dust). Little less than 25 bucks after shipping. Not bad for 5 games in all.

Thanks for the heads up! Picked up: youth in revolt ninja assassin shutter island the road boondocks saints 2 (blind buy) Assuming not as good as the first? After replacing the rental cases with the rocketfish ones from Best Buy I'm looking at about $28.12. Not bad at all.

While I have heard otherwise upon occasion, I've always received everything practically like new. My only irritation with goHastings is with used DVDs they sometimes sent me the BBV cases :bomb:
