I picked up my FF 16 CE from my porch and the first thing you notice is how light it is. Beating a dead horse here but definitely way overpriced for the quality of the statue.

Overpriced CEs aren’t new but I don’t remember a CE where the JPN one had more and it was still the same price 🥴 The book was one of the things I wanted most from the CE too. I wonder if it will be available separately somehow.

They really took out the Ultimania book and said nah keep the same price!

Think it’s just luck of the draw. I ordered ps5 version + steelbook and a separate order switch steelbook. All arrived yesterday.

I put one of the big Play Arts figures (with the bike) in my cart to get an estimated shipping cost of FF XVI CE and it was $35.99. Given that the JPN one is about $280, I bet ours will be $300. That ends up being about $360 total for me with tax.

Think you have to cancel both but most of the time the steelbook will briefly be listed separately and you can just buy it.

These are annoying because the game isn’t packed into it. I view it more as a bundle and I bet it (or just the extras) goes on sale at some point.

No, I just assumed that the Switch would be able to handle the game just fine. If performance is the same, I default to Switch so I can play it on the go too.

So I preordered tactics ogres from amazon UK on PS5 for the steelbook. I’m kind of regretting not getting it on Switch now but sold out on UK and Germany site. Any places have them still with the steelbook? Furthermore, is the US getting any kind of pre order bonus?
