Seems that way. The shit of it is that my 48-hour trial card says this on the front:
"Xbox LIVE 48-hour trial allows access to online multiplayer gaming, Netflix, Photo Party, free game demos, exclusive discounts, promotions, and video content."
I guess this could be indicative of the lack of interest in this game. The thread in the 360 subforum has like 15 replies since release two weeks ago.
As a co-op fan this is just disappointing because Gears of War is great and all, but I really hoped there would be more that just one game in...
Can I get a fist bump?
The visuals are improved, the weapons feel and sound more solid, and there's more co-op moves and scenarios. Rather than just shooting everyone you can get your partner to distract enemies while you take them down and tie them up. Then you can curb stomp them if you want...

I'll be picking this up for some splitscreen goodness. For the few of you out there that do the splitscreen thing, this game has a tremendous advantage over other splitscreen games in that the whole screen is used...
The thing that really sucks about the knife situation is that Infinity Ward doesn't patch gameplay balance issues. Look at Martyrdom from CoD4. IW admitted it was a mistake and it was abused, yet you have to wait for the sequel for them to fix something like that.

Yeah, I'm pretty annoyed about this too. I'm not a collector or anything, but I take care of my games and enjoy looking at nice box art. And here comes Modern Warfare 2, missing plastic behind the disc. You could easily put your finger clear through the insert on the back side if you're not...
Is the campaign and co-op content worth 5 bux? I don't play online but I have a battle buddy who sits next to me while we play games. We enjoyed the co-op matches in the original game.

Well, that's the whole point. It can be surmised that the guaranteed community backlash will impact sales of Modern Warfare 2 on the PC. Then, based on the reduced sales numbers, IW can then blame the decline of PC gaming popularity and piracy for the lack of a PC version of the next Call of...
